Beautiful lakeview

This is a very cute hotel off Lake Atitlan. The view is absolutely breathtaking! The hotel offers amenities such as pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, hammocks, large-scale board games such as chess and checkers, restaurant & bar. The best part is that it's right off the lake so you can visit the many restaurants off the lake and also take a boat ride to a nearby village such as San Marcos. There is also a multitude of vendors selling products and food. You can't go wrong with this place. The only downside is that the free wifi is only available in the dining area.

We enjoyed the nature and walking because it is very good located. We had many differents trips to the volcanos, little towns, etc..

Description
Hotel Atitlan is a 61-room Hotel and Botanical Garden. The Hotel is located at the northern edge of Lake Atitlan on Finca San Buenaventura, near Panajachel in the Guatemalan highlands. It has a full-service restaurant and bar offering international cuisine prepared from fresh produce purchased in local markets. The Hotel design is patterned after Spanish-Colonial haciendas favored by Guatemala plantation owners in the 18th Century. It is accented by hand-crafted furniture and hand-woven fabrics. The Hotel was built over a 21-year period by skilled, local laborers and craftsmen. The garden is a collection of different gardens, each with their own identity. They are broadly divided into luscious tropical gardens, formal rose gardens and a mixture of Hibiscus, Heliconias, Passion Flower and Bouganvillia. The garden has more than 500 different species representing 250 plant families.

The best at Atitlan without a doubt.

This is an amazing hotel right on Lake Atitlan.The owner has spared no expense in decorating every inch of the place with local antiques. The extensive gardens are carefully tended to and well worth an evening stroll. The staff speaks a little English but more time could be spent teaching them more as many of its clients are English speaking.
