The hotel has created a studio & apartments complex (Scorpios Beach Studios & Apartments) at Monolithos Beach, in the volcanic island of Santorini, just next to the old tomato factory of 1922, loyal to the tradition and respectful to the environment. Joli petit hotel situé à proximité d'une plage.Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées.Le petit déjeuner en buffet est copieux et il est possible de le prendre au bord de la piscine.Les lieux sont calmes et l'accueil agréable.
Le quartier dans lequel se situe l'hotel n'est pas trés beau.
Cet hotel est à recommander.

Beautiful setting, spartan rooms

We stayed at the Hermes the first week of 2010. We had a little trouble with the A/C, but a call to Orbitz got the maintenance guys in gear and we were squared away for the rest of the week.
Elke (?) at the front desk was terrific! Also, the location is very good. Two short blocks to the beach and the boardwalk. The boardwalk is definitely the heart of Kamari.
Last, the rooms are sparse, and the beds aren't great but practical. The rooms appear to be timeshares, as each is decorated differently and with different furniture and appointments.

This hotel is situated on the hillside of Kamari village. It is 400 metres from the beach and the shopping area and restaurants. (1008/AC) A traditional Cycladic style 2 storey building, painted white with blue shutters and a swimming pool out the front. Virtually in the centre of Kamari resort, this family-run, recently renovated complex is 5 minutes walk to the beach. Being centrally located, it has taverna's, bars and shops nearby. The island's lively capital town of Fira and the airport are both just a fifteen minute transfer away by car.

A family run property which offers a friendly service. Although the hotel is fairly basic it has a swimming pool and is kept in very good condition. The studios are ideal for those that want to do their own light cooking and go out and sample the cuisine of the many local tavernas. (0908/AC) This complex is made up of 2 and 3 storey white stone washed buildings, with dark red shutters and beautiful bright pink bougainvillea planted around and about. Situated in a quiet area among a garden of pistachio and eucalyptus trees, this complex of rooms, studios, and apartments is 4 minutes walk to the beach and also from the centre of the Kamari where restaurants, tavernas, shops and bars can be found. The islands lively capital town, Fira, along with the airport and port are a 10-15 minute drive away.
