I travel for value. Sometimes I spend a lot, sometimes a little, but overall I want bang for the buck. Hotel Madelena brings the value in a big way. Breakfast was AWESOME - LOTS of food including hot items to order - crepes with nutella, eggs, bacon, hot feta phyllo specialties, choco croissants, etc. Rooms were newly renovated and moderately sized. The WINNER is the location - walking distance to Old Town without being so close that you want to die from the noise (no noise, all the proximity). THE VIEW IS SICK! We had a private patio and our friends from some triple cost posh hotel in the southern expensive part of the island would come to our hotel to see the great vistas on the common "roof deck" area where we'd have wine before going to dinner. GO HERE!

Madalena Hotel is a superb place to stay. The room was nicely renovated. And the balcony in our room has a view to die for!!!!
The location was perfect for us. It is about 7 minute walk from the center of town. So we were far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the town and yet close enough to walk and get our daily exercise. At night we stayed out late till one o'clock in the morning and it was completely safe.
The staff was very warm and friendly. They treated us very well. They even went out of their way to cater to our needs. They loan us their flat iron and their electric hair curler. They treated us like we were their long lost friends.
I would definitely go back. And would for sure recommend it to my friends and family. We absolutely had a GREAT TIME!!!

Pension Flora is a complex of private rooms, studios and apartments, ideally located in the centre of Mykonos town, next to the windmills, about 100 m from the main shopping/clubbing area, yet in a rather quiet, small street. The rooms are scattered in three different buildings, two adjacent and the third one at a distance of 20m. All units are very clean and proper, simply furnished and have private facilities (bath with shower). All of the rooms have fridge. The studios and apartments include kitchenette with basic equipment and fridge. Maid service is daily, while linen is being changed every three days. Room types vary from simple double/triple rooms to double/triple studios throughout to bigger apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 4, 5 or even 6 people respectively.

This hotel is located right in the middle of Mykonos Town (Chora). One of the biggest problems was finding the place due to it's lack of signage. We asked a few of the locals and were able to meander through the city streets and find it. It is located close to Little Venice and next to the best gyro stand in Greece (the famous "Jimmy's"). We were able to walk to dinner every night and catch the bus (100 yards away) to the various beaches. The location was definitely a plus. However, the beds and pillows were as hard as a rock (European style) and there isn't a front desk or clerk to assist you with information.

Description
Vencia boutique hotel is a four star (4****) hotel which has been fully renovated in 2007, situated 10min away from Mykonos town in the area of Rohari.
Due to its location, the hotel enjoys a spectacular panoramic view of Mykonos town and the Aegean Sea. An elegant combination of colours and furniture has created an environment of quite relaxation, comfort and luxury.
Our guests will enjoy a unique experience when swimming in our swimming pool's crystal clear waters. The pool has been designed in such a way that it seems to merge into the deep blue of the Aegean Sea below.

Description
This centrally located is one of the few that stays open all year round. It's last soft renovation has given it the property a fresh and bright look and feel to it. (1008/AC) Whitewashed building, typical to those in the area The hotel is located in Mykonos Town, in the Rohari district, in a quiet residential area and yet close to the lively nightlife and shops of the town. The port is 1km away and the airport 2km.

The owners take care of every detail and bend over backwards to give the best service. They are amazing! The hotel is beautiful! It is located on a hill overlooking the beautiful bay. However, it is located about a 15 minute walk uphill from town. They noticed our worry about the walk (being seniors), and suggested that we stayed at their apartments right in town. We accepted their suggestion. They gave us transportation to the hotel for breakfast every day. They also picked us up at the port and took us back. The breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely go back.

Overall, this is a very good standard property catering for every type of traveller. It's location is a great asset making it a peaceful base yet offering easy access to the lively Mykonos Town. The property includes a great sized spa area including a room with 6 indoor pools offering thalasso aromatic and hydro massage therapy. There are also massage and beauty treatment rooms as well as a special couples relaxation room where guests are left alone on a moving bed covered in lotion scented with their choice of oils, to a background of relaxing music. (1008/AC) The buildings have an original Greek island architectural character, all are painted in white with sky blue doors and windows. The hotel is spared over a large area and is made up of 4 main buildings and a spa area. The hotel is situated in a choice location, just above Mykonos Town, offering a peaceful Cycladic atmosphere and a fabulous view of the Aegean Sea and Mykonos town. It is a 5 minute walk down to the town where a vast array of bars, tavernas, shopping and clubs are available. The hotel offers complimentary arrival and departure transfers to and from both the port and the airport.

Description
A great product in an unbeatable location. (1008/AC) A two storey, typical white painted Mykonian building with attractive gardens and reached through a stone archway from the cobbled street of the harbour. The hotel is ideally located, being just a minute's walk from the main town square, the beach and the port. Being in the town there are a large number of tavernas, bars and shops nearby. The town car park is also only a 5 minute walk away for those with their own transport.
