Description
A newly renovate, well maintained property with friendly staff. (11/08 EP) A two storey typically Greek looking modern building, Rex has been renovated fully in 2006. This hotel is located towards the top of the main high street which runs through Kalambaka. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The main tourist attractions of the area are the Meteora mountains upon which are situated monasteries. These are a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The nearest large town is Trikkala which is a 20 minute drive away by car. The train station is about 500 metres from the hotel. The closest airport is in Thessaloniki, 250 km away.

Petit dejeuner pas tres bon. Premiere chambre donnee tres petite et sombre avec vue sur un mur.Apres reclamation ,sans probleme,nous avons obtenu une chambre spacieuse avec vue sur les Meteores. Personnel aimable.tres bon chauffage.

In the summertime, the hotel places tables out on the patio where one can enjoy the fabulous view and watch the world go by.(09/07 EP) It is a 3-storey structure assembled in the basic construction of a white building. It is a family run hotel. The hotel is situated in the heart of Kalambaka, right below the famous Rocks of Meteora offering an excellent view of the monasteries in the mountains. The shopping area is only few minutes walk from the sight.

The hotel benefits from an good location. In the summertime, the hotel places tables out on the patio where one can enjoy the fabulous view and watch the world go by. (EP 07/07) It is a 3-storey structure with a red tiled roof, that gives it a traditional feel. The swimming pool area and garden is accross the entrance, and in between there is free parking space for the guests. The hotel is situated in Kalambaka, right below the famous Rocks of Meteora offering an excellent view of the monasteries in the mountains. The shopping area is only few minutes walk from the site.

Description
This is a good quality family run hotel, at a prime location and still away from the crowds. It's ideal as a base to explore the holy rocks of Meteora without missing out on the vibrant night life and restaurant scene of Kalambaka (EP 08/08) It is a modern building decorated with local stone slabs, and the red tiled roof attributes a traditional look to the whole hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet location at the edge of the city center, where one of the two roads that lead to the monasteries of Meteora and the traditional village of Kastraki begins. The monumental rocks can be seen in the background, and the city center is only a 5 minute walk.

A parte la stanza forse un po' troppo piccola ma decorosa, buon hotel e buona la posizione, sia rispetto al centro del paese che alle Meteore (a pochi minuti di macchina). Buona colazione. Da consigliare.

The hotel situates on the edge of the town, which is okay since it's a tourist town anyway, nothing much to walk that can't be done driving a mile or to from the hotel. The hotel lobby and hallway are decorated tastfully, but a little dated, it was clean. The room: Biggest problem is the bathroom. It has marble floor, nice yet given that marble is everywhere in Greece. Shower tub has no curtain, you are supposed to sit on the seat inside the bathtub and wash yourselve, otherwise there will be water everywhere in the bathroom. NO venting fan in the bathroom, there is a window openning directly to the outside without screen. I found a grasshopper in the bathroom, possibily from the window openning. The floor in the bedroom is clean, except the rug is dirty with crumbs over them.

Description
This is a boutique property of unique quality and traditional style, and a type of hotel that has long been missing from Kalambaka. The guests are guaranteed a comfortable and luxurious stay in a unique environment (08/08 EP) It is a 19th century grade listed rural townhouse, completely restored its original glory and beyond in 2007. All the original elements such as stone masonry walls, wooden beams and the terra-cotta roof are preserved. This traditional townhouse is located in Kastraki, a quiet district of Kalambaka just on the foot of the Holy Rocks of Meteora. The town center is within easy reach on foot or by taxi. Kastraki is a residential area that is being undergoing a rejuvenation process in the past few years, with many houses and public areas restored to their 19th century grandeur, turning it into an area of major architectural interest.

Description
This is a hotel of excellent quality, the presentation and services should satisfy those guests who want to experience an exclusive and luxurious stay in Kalambaka (EP 05/10) The hotel has a very traditional outlook, one can recognise architectural elements usually seen in monasteries and palatial mansions of the byzantine era. Nevertheless the hotel has only been built recently in 2006 and everything is brand new. This fantastic hotel is located in a beautiful natural setting just outside the city limits of Kalambaka, a short driving distance or a 20 minute pleasant walk to the city. It is a quiet location with a full view of the imposing Meteora rocks and the monasteries.

L'hôtel dispose de chambres très agréables, aménagées avec goût, spacieuses et ce dans un cadre exceptionnel. En revanche, la restauration est orientée sur la clientèle groupe ce qui se traduit par un buffet à horaire fixe, qui une fois consommée par le groupe de touristes n'est pas réalimenté pour les voyageurs individuels. Par ailleurs, le petit déjeûner est peu attractif. Cependant, l'espace et le calme offert par cet hôtel sont sans conteste, ses meilleurs atouts.
