Description
A fantastic hotel in a prime location, benefiting from both the buzz of the city and the views of the harbour. (06/09 EP) This five-storey building is quite typical of Cretan architecture. It is a whitewashed structure perched over the town's pretty harbour. Ideally located just a few minutes walk from the town's main square, but also benefiting from magnificent harbour views.

this is a reasonably priced hotel in a great location near the water and short walk to the pedestrian shopping areas. i broke my arm while in heraklion, and the staff were great about seeing to my needs. the free internet access helped in re-arranging my travel plans. the ample breakfast served on the top floor with a panoramic view of the harbor was useful in enabling my associates and i to go all day if necessary without further food. i have no complaints, and plan to book the hotel next time i am able to visit this wonderful island.

Villa Bellevue is a complex of studios and apartments 20-21 km from Heraklio city and airport and approx.250 m.from national motorway leading east to Heraklio and west to Rethymnon and Hania.
The complex has a fantastic view of the Cretan sea, mountains and the village of Agia Pelagia and Ligaria beach .
It is situaded 1900 meters from the fishing village of Agia Pelagia and it is built on an elevated position(95 meters above sea level) over the Ligaria beach that is 900 meters away. Both beaches have sand and pebbles. The customers can use a strenuous footpath with steps or local road to visit the village and the beach .
On upper level- the traditional styled Taverna,Villa- reception with safes [ small extra charge] and TV room [local channels ]. Studios and apartments all with their own entrance- are situated in elevated gardens with steps leading to the picturesque pool area [fresh water] with sun loungers and umbrellas included in price .

Un superbe hotel avec une vraie piscine ou l'on peut réellement nager, le cadre est excellent, les chambres impeccable, très confortable et moderne avec un petit balcon fleuri. Il change de ce qui est offert sur cette cote nord de la crete mais à 800 metre du bord de mer.

This was a project that began years ago with the aim of recreating a Cretan village where visitors would enjoy experiences ranging from Cretan dance classes to a traditional Cretan wedding. There is a folklore museum and arts and crafts workshops operating upon request such as ironmongers, loom, wood oven, and traditional Cretan dances. The hotel offers a unique alternative experience welcoming guests who are looking for an off the beaten track holiday (06/08 EP) The whole complex has been built to resemble a traditional Cretan village, complete with a main square, houses and workshops. The new swimming pool area Delphys is a refreshing addition available for a relaxing swim or suntanning on the deckchairs. The Arolithos Village is situated about 10 kilometres from the city of Heraklion. The Minoan palace of Knossos is just a short drive away. To reach Arolithos by car, take the highway exit to "GAZI" and "ANOGIA" and keep on driving towards Anogia. The road zigzags the heights above Heraklion and will take you through rolling countryside and villages all the way to Arolithos.

This hotel gives you a true traditional Greek lifestyle which is what I want to see. This hotel is beautifully done with flowers, pool, and resturant. I ate my breakfast outside on the patio with vine covered roof. It has a beautiful countryside view.
