Convenient to the Stuttgart Airport

This hotel is quite close to the airport but if you don't have your own transportation, there is not much else close by. The hotel does have a restaurant which I highly recommend as the staff and food are superb. The hotel does not offer AC in the room but do have portable fans/ac in some rooms. The hotel could use some updating (especially with the bedding and decor). Overall, this is a good place to stay for a short stay if you need to be close to the airport.

The hotel got a bad review or two but I decided to try it myself since it was fairly cheap and the reviews were old.
It was a thoroughly clean and pleasant place to stay. The dinner was very good especially for the price, breakfast was excellent and there was WiFi, despite a review stating otherwise. Would stay again when I have an early next day flight for sure!

Friendly, helpful attentive staff. Stayed at hotel and did a training seminar for 22 people. Could not have picked a better location. Superb service at a good price. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Great location in Vaihingen.

Sehr gutes Hotel; Leider musste ich feststellen,dass in meiner Buchung fälschlicherweise das Frühstück nicht inbegriffen war.
Es wurde mir bestätigt : only room, breakfast......
Ich wurde dann an der Rezeption aufgeklärt, dass breakfast nur eine Option wäre. Wenn ich das vorher gewusst hätte, wären wir wo anderst frühstücken gegangen und hätten die 40 € für 2 Personen gespart. Schade

The hotel is in a great location...just outside of the downtown area, close to Olympia Park and the English Gardens. The downtown area is easily and quickly accessible by the U-Bahn located VERY close to the hotel. The hotel itself offers several amenities, including two musical theaters, a cineplex, several shops and numerous restaurants. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel!

Great hotel, zero American tourists (so it's off the beaten path). Very friendly staff, eager to please. This is a German hotel in Germany, as opposed to a tourist hotel in Germany where you mind find a variety of nationalities. This is where German businessmen stay, where they conduct meetings, and where German travelers in general will stay. Around 3 KM north of the main sites around Stuttgart, particularly Patch Barracks. Easy drive south in the morning for meetings around town, easy drive north at the end of the day. Excellent FREE breakfast, good dinner menu, though somewhat limited. Room was neat and tidy, but not an American standard. Again, nothing negative. Comfortable bed, approximated a full size, just a bit smaller. Tub was narrower than a US one. Shower was a handheld sprayer mounted on the wall; standard in Europe, not so in the US. Plenty of hot water, all glasses were glass, no plastic. Fridge in the room stocked with beer, wine, snacks. TV looked like a computer monitor, had TV controls and a remote control. Business center gave you internet access, but it was a German keyboard (no touch typing, different keys and letter/character placement). Free wifi in the lobby, separate network available in the room for a fee. Free parking. Excellent experience, will plan to stay there again on my next trip.

Hotel liegt auserhalb von Stuttgart an einer viel befahrenen Straße.Ohne Auto kommt man schlecht weg.
Die Zimmer haben ihre besten Zeiten auch schon hinter sich, wahren jetzt nicht schlecht aber für den stolzen Preis von über 400 Euro für zwei Nächte in einer Junior Suite hätte ich weitaus mehr erwartet.

Got a good price $112 with Orbits, but got stuck for $ 90 for our breakfasts (3 people). We paid less than that for a very nice dinner with drinks at a nearby reataurant.
Also a beer and a glass of house wine was $ 20.
So - nice but pricy.

I went there on a trip to stuttgart, i arrived there late night, so i wanted to get a hotel near the airport. However, the hotel is located 15 minutes away from the airport by the shuttle. The hotel is pretty new and the stuff is kind.

Best ever location

My wife and I have only one complaint and it concerns the bathroom in rooms fitted with a double bed. These rooms have bathrooms with a full length widow between the shower and the bedroom! Yes it's crazy to shower in front of your partner. Why this design of room nobody could give us an answer. So if you don't want to be on view book yourselves into a room with twin beds. ALL other aspects of the hotel were perfect.

First time at this hotel for me and of course I went to the wrong building. It turns out that I was booked at the newer building and it was a short walk across the street. No problem except that it was raining during my stay. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, well maintained and the rooms were quiet and had great furnishings. The location was very convenient and I would stay there again.

Non-smoking room? Forget it!

Hope you enjoy smokey rooms - that's what you'll get if you stay here.
Despite a non-smoking reservation, I was told there were only smoking rooms available. Staff first lied and said that they hadn't been notified I wanted a non-smoking room. At that point, I saw the non-smoking reservation printed clearly on their form. When confronted with this, they said that I should have also called them and implied it was all my fault! They refused to make any real effort to give me the non-smoking room I had reserved.
Rare rudeness and dishonesty in an otherwise friendly city.

Es handelt sich um das ehemalige Mövenpick am Flughafen Stuttgart. Terminal und S-Bahn sind in vier Minuten zu erreichen, die Messe ist direkt am Hotel und in einer Minute zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Das Hotel ist nicht mehr ganz neu, aber das Zimmer war einwandfrei und penibel saubergemacht.
Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut und reichhaltig, aber wenn man keine Zimmerrate inklusiv Frühstück hat, kostet es 18 Euro. Lohnt sich also nur für den großen Hunger.

Lassen Sie sich nicht von den Bildern im Internet täuschen. Sehr wahrscheinlich werden Sie ein Zimmer im alten und schäbigen Teil erhalten. Die Zimmer stinken, sind nicht sauber und laut. Das Internet kostet auch "nur" 15 Euro. Für vier Sterne schlichtweg nicht akzeptabel. Nie wieder.

The hotel is a great value product and caters for the travellers basic needs. Public transport is also ideally located allowing a convenient way to explore the surrounding area. If check-in is needed after 23.00 the hotel should be contacted for information about the automatic entry system. 0308SR The exterior is low rise and has a grey facade with large glass windows and glass entrance doors. The hotel is located approximately 18 km from the city centre of Stuttgart in a residental suburb called Stuttgart Sindlefingen. Public transport to the city centre is by train and is located directly outside the hotel. The stop is called "Am Goldberg" and this mode of transport conveniently takes you into the city centre in 20 minutes.

Das Hotel war für unsere Ansprüche gut. Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer relativ sauber, aber sehr laut (direkt neben Autobahn). Aber für 53€ fürs Doppelzimmer mit sehr leckerem, frischem und vielseitigem Frühstück völlig in Ordnung.

Recknagels Hotel Traube conveniently located across the expressway from the Stuttgart airport is a beguilng little inn. Located on a small cobble-stoned square just off a main street that outs through this modern suburb and contained in a cluster of 5 timered buildings/ the Hotel Traube offers escape from the more sterele surroundings/ located far enough away from the street to be quiet.
