It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the city, only 5 or so from the subway (U-Bahn). There is free street parking and 10 Euro/day in the garage. For the price it was a great hotel. They gave us two bottles of water and beer a day in the fridge, which was nice.
I read some complaints in the reviews that sound mostly like people that aren't familiar with most European hotels. I've been living in Europe and traveling for over 8 months and most of the complaints I read are the norm here.
1. 10 Euro for parking is fairly cheap.
2. The parking spaces in the garage while small by American standards aren't abnormal for here (now the lot my wife and I used in Oslo... THAT was small)
3. No air conditioning, most hotels I've been to here don't have AC. My apartment here doesn't have AC. This took my wife and i off guard at first too but most will have fans. We're used to it now, but unfortunately those of you that will only be here for your trip might not be.

Due to "Messe" it was generally very expensive in Nuremberg at this time. Next time I will take a look for a hotel more outside because the public transport in Nuremberg is very good. The hotel was average, the TV was a flat screen (good), but the air conditioning in the bath smelled a little.

Have you ever had a hotel experience where everything was perfect, but the little things killed it? The Meridien is a wonderful high-scale hotel. You're paying for quality. Clean rooms, wonderful decor and friendly staff...but oh how they missed the little details a business traveler expects.
WiFi and Internet - Beware its EUR19 a day for internet in your room. This is almost bearable except for the fact that it can't handle the bandwidth requirements of VPN, VOIP or any business traveler's basic needs.
Breakfast - They don't tell you whether your room rate includes breakfast or not until you ask. I had eaten breakfast at EUR22 per day for three days before I recognized it wasn't included in my rate.

The Maritim is a very nice hotel about three blocks from the Nuremberg HBF (main train/subway/streetcar) station. It is walking distance from the main commercial district as well. Additionally, the staff there was greatly helpful and fluent in English (big help to me). Really, the only comment I have that is not praise is that they do not have a free breakfast. However, once again, you are walking distance to all the great shops Nuremberg has to offer.

We needed a hotel close to the airport because we had a very early morning flight. Location was perfect...across the street from the airport...walking distance. The hotel was very clean and modern. Two women travelling...felt very comfortable and safe. Hotel staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our choice.

Bis das die Sauna morgens um Acht ausgeschalte war, und mein Safe defekt war, eigentlich sehr zufrieden für eine Nacht. Mir fehlte für den Preis eine suvärene Bar und im Rerstaurant fehlte mir auch das Flair. Sonst aber sehr zufrieden.

The swimming pool and the fitness center were under construction but we still got our exercise by jogging on their jogging trail which we enjoyed doing.

ただ、バスルームの扉の立て付けが悪くて、鍵をかけたつもりでも空いてしまうところはマイナスです。
値段から考えたらとてもよいホテルだと思います。

The hotel was very close to the train station and thus very convenient. Also, a few steps away from the old town. Great location.
The room was very small, so was the bathroom and it seemed quite old and not very clean.
The reception clerks were quite nice anyway and allowed us to check in early.

The hotel was within walking distance of the main train station and entry points to the old city. The breakfast at the hotel was good but as we didn't plan on eating at the hotel every morning we did not have it included in our room rate. Despite hanging the "zzzz" door hanger and posted policy about saving water by replacing linens every three days our room was cleaned daily.
The main entry to the hotel did not have a ramp for mobility challenged guests but that was the only obstacle to using my wheelchair.
The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.

My sister and I were really impressed when we stayed here.
As 'cheap and cheerful' accommodation goes, this place was great. Rooms were clean and comfy, reception/lounge/bar area downstairs is manned 24/7 and it's really chilled out. Wifi (for a small fee) was a big bonus. They also have a Sky Bar on the top floor, which was well-priced and a nice way to chill out & finish our evenings with a Banana Beer!
Location is great, meer minutes away from the main train station and the entrance to the city. Ideal, as Nuremberg is the kind of city that you really want to walk around.
Really can't stress enough how great the staff are too. Perfect English (since my German leaves much to be desired!), super friendly and really helpful.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone on a trip with family or mates. Perhaps not for a romantic weekend away, but if you are simply looking for well-priced and chilled out accommodation to stay at whilst you visit the city then A&O does the job perfectly.

1007 HM This is a historical building with a sandstone coloured facade. The hotel is located in the heart of Nuremberg directly beside the Kings-Tower and Craftmen's Courtyard at the entrance to the historical city center and its pedestrian area.

Très joli hôtel idéalement situé au centre ville permettant de la visiter sans devoir se déplacer avec un véhicule. Personnel souriant, sympathique, parlant plusieurs langues. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Jolie chambre. Seul petit bémol, le parking difficile d'accès dans le centre ville.

Great location in the "old town",close to the train station and the hotel has a Karaoke bar in the basement. However, there was no air conditioning
in the hotel or room, so windows had to be opened for
ventilation. With the bar open until 5 a.m., all

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful and spoke very good english and very close to main railway station (walking distance or 1 stop on U-bahn). Room was very small dark and bare appearance with thin hessian curtains that did not completely cover the window and very low watt bulbs. Ensuite was literally no bigger than a broom closet with barely any room to dry off. No remote for the tiny tv so luckily there was only 1 channel available on it so no need to change channels. No bedside lamp. Kitchen area provided but no cups or crockery or cooking equipment or kettle provided.

Front desk manager was extremely friendly and very helpful. No li ft; breakfast adequate. New and different theme/ambiance, enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel
