I was amazed at the value of the offer I received, Normally I shop for the cheapest price hotel with amenities I need for basic comfort but with the offer from kempinski I got 5 star quality and comfort, miles and more bonus miles and no shuttle worry as i it is located at the airport entrance terminal 2. I had a layover and needed to be close in. Travel shopping was easy , shop value but live a little is now my motto!

We upgraded to the new section upon arrival for an additional 10 Euros and were quite pleased with our room. The meal in the restaurant was one of the best we had in Germany.

Nice, modern, comfortable hotel. Well insulated (no airport noise) and well air conditioned. Convenient to Munich airport; take 635 bus at airport for a couple of Euros to bus stop at hotel; saves over expensive taxi ride.

Compared to other NH Hotels at Airports (p.e. Vienna) this one didn't live up to my expectations. You still need to drive ten minutes to the gate, it's very small and not easy to find.

Night life in the small village of Neufahrm outside of Munich is quiet, too quiet. But if you are looking for a good bed not too far from the airport this muiight be your place.

Used the hotel as an overnight for the airport and was not disappointed. We arrived late and spent some time in the bar.....very good service. Its a basic motel with good proximity to the airport albeit not easy to find as it is in a small village close to the airport.

This is a comfortable no-frills reasonably priced hotel with free on-street parking. Breakfast buffet and egg-chef. In-room safe. Two minutes drive from therme.

The hotel is excellent, close to the airport (~30 minutes). Good value for the money except for the shuttle service price which is comparable with one day stay for two persons (~ the same price with a renting a car for a day). Close to supermarket and parks. The only problem is that the staff should be more cheerfull and eager to help.

Description
Very welcome to Hotel Koenig Ludwig II. in Garching. In our main building you will find the reception, the breakfast room, the Restaurant, the Bar and 24 Hotelrooms. Right next to the main building you will find our Koenig Ludwig II. Residenz. We were very happy to open this building in January 2007, after 3 years of construction work. The underground line U6 is the basement of this new building. All 27 rooms are equipped very modern and in different styles. The Koenig Ludwig II. Residenz is the 4 star part of Hotel Koenig Ludwig II.
Our Garage is directly under the hotel. Right next to our hotel you find the entrance of underground line U6, -Garching-. You can reach Munich centre within 20 minutes, the TU-Muenchen, ESO, MPI, IPP and General Electric can be reached by using the U6, the next station is Garching Forschungsinstitute.

Chose the hotel to cut down the travel time to the airport in the morning. 20 min. from MUC by car; great. Hotel staff is very friendly. Good size room, comfortable bed. Nice amenities: 24h fitness room (empty at 5am), free Wifi, breakfeast included. Large supermarket (Kaufland) for last minute purchases across the street; opens 7am M-Sa. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was comfortable. The room we had was not in the main hotel but in a separate apartment building. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was not comfortable at all. Very thin and old looking. Was surprised that there was a little kitchen area with fridge and hot plate. The only other issue was that you could see through the bathroom door if you were walking down the hall in the room. The room was very large . Had a separate bedroom and living area. Location was very good. Close to the U bahn. Close to the Munich airport.
