Very well located for transport: 200 m from the Theresienwiese Metro station and close to the central railway station. One Child in the age range from 0-11years ,in the same bed as their parents free of charge, extra beds on request / availability

There's nothing 4 star about this hotel. Don't be fooled by the pictures. The hotel is about 5 blocks away from the Central station which was probably the most decent thing about it. The rooms are small and not modern. I will not be returning or recommend this hotel

Nice, but pricey for what it is

This is a very nice boutique hotel with a charming staff, a great breakfast room, a beautiful lobby, and a modern parking garage. However, it did not give me quite what I had hoped for.
Munich is an expensive town if you want to find hotel value close to the city center. It 's especially expensive during Oktoberfest. That being said, I was willing to forgive the higher-than-average prices for the Prinzregent am Friedensengel. I needed a nice place close to Oktoberfest for my last night after a long road trip to store my car and get a good night's sleep and I wanted more than the usual plastic furniture and rock-hard mattresses you generally find in German hotels. However, there was nothing about the room or the bed that warranted the price. The bed was not especially comfortable, the safe was broken, there wasn't much closet space, and the bathroom, although pretty, was as small as the head on a boat. The carpet and decor were tired and the springs on both chairs poked up into my tail-bone.
The good side was that I was greeted warmly by the young lady at the check-in desk and there was a very large elevator so that I could bring my bags up from the parking garage. They had even cordoned off a parking space for me with my name on it - nice touch. I very much liked coming and going through the beautiful lobby, and the subway to Oktoberfest was only a 5 minute walk away on a quiet safe street. The waiter in the breakfast room was very fast, efficient and friendly, making the start of the day a pleasant experience. Over-all, my one night here left a favorable impression on me...just not on my bank account.
I will definitely look into this hotel again on my next trip to Munich if I need to be down-town, but I am sure it will be easy to find a better priced hotel on the fringes of the city center. I have always been drawn to boutique hotels over the larger modern ones and this hotel has a few nice things to offer any traveler with the same outlook.

Wonderful little family operated hotel with excellent staff, rooms, breakfast, and location (access to subway). BUT!!!!!! Don't get rooms facing the street. The traffic noise is really bad. Especially when the tram comes by. Rooms on the inside are much better.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte im Parkhotel und waren zufrieden damit. Da wir sehr spät angekommen sind, wurde der Hotelschlüssel für uns draussen deponiert und mit einem Code konnten wir ihn problemlos beziehen.
Die Lage ist für München gut, U-Bahn liegt in der Nähe und trotzdem ist es nicht sehr laut.
Frühstück haben wir nicht genützt.

It's right across from the main train station, a short walk to everything, and is a great upscale hotel without being stuffy. As we were in Munich in January, the hot tub and indoor pool were both very nice after sightseeing all day in the snow!! The concierge is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations on tours, restaurants, etc. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. We were thrilled to have an almost average size room as we would get at a hotel in the U.S., which is unexpected in Europe! Wonderful!

The hotel is in an excellent location-a 5 min walk to a vibrant train station. You can easily get to/from the airport and to many historical sights. Also, the station is a great place to eat/shop.
Although the room was very clean, I was disappointed that the housekeeping entered my room repeatedly while I had the Do Not Disturb sign posted. There is no excuse for this. I reported this to the front desk and felt certain that they followed through, but still the HK staff entered.
I was surprised that Le Meridien-Munich is listed as a 5 star hotel. There are few amenities, the lighting is poor, the bed was very hard, and wireless internet is not available in the room. However, the room was clean, and that is the most important. I would stay there again.

Although this is an older hotel, it was very nice. Seemed to cater to groups. The breakfast option was $27 euro per person. Room service wasn't much cheaper. Location was very close to the Uban (subway), banks, and grocery store. Overall a very good experience.
It will cost approx $55 euro cab ride from the airport to the hotel. You can take the Uban, but its a pretty long ride and you have to know where and when to switch routes.

This hotel does not offer a "breakfast included" option and indeed I consider too costly to pay 29 euros if yoy want it.

This was our second time to Munich for Oktoberfest and last year we stayed further away and had to take the train every where! This location was perfect for everything to do in Munich! We walked to Oktoberfest. We walked to the Augustiner Biergarten. We walked to the train station! We walked to shopping and dining! As far as the room was concerned, it was very modern and had plenty of amenities.

Lovely hotel in a good location where you can easily take a 10 min stroll into the marienplatz or get the tube bus or tram. Rooms were lovely and nespresso machine a real bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

2nd Stay at Kempinski Munich

Second time around at this hotel. First time around I guess I did not appreciate the value of this property (I'll blame it on the jet lag) it is quite impressive. To start reception was prompt and efficient, very pleasant. Booked a superior room. Room was very clean and spacious, no feeling closed in! 9' ceiling plenty of walking around room. The bathroom is large as well. However as with any 5 star hotel, the devil is in the details...food and extras. $20 pizza, $20 internet ($18 actually), $5 mini bar small sized soda. Next year when I'm back I will be staying here again!

I was amazed at the value of the offer I received, Normally I shop for the cheapest price hotel with amenities I need for basic comfort but with the offer from kempinski I got 5 star quality and comfort, miles and more bonus miles and no shuttle worry as i it is located at the airport entrance terminal 2. I had a layover and needed to be close in. Travel shopping was easy , shop value but live a little is now my motto!

Front Desk staff were very friendly and spoke very good english. Only had one miscommunication. We understood checking in that the breakfast was included. Upon checkout, we were told it was not and got a bill for 12 Euro per person per day (72 Euro). It was a nice breakfast and worth the value, but a little shock at the end of an otherwise very nice stay. The food was great. Service impeccable.

Really well located near the Deutches Museum, within 15 minutes straight walk of Viktullen Markt and Marien Platz. Nice restaraunt in Hotel and good bars nearby.
Hotel is a bit shabby but clean - friendly staff, breakfast is €12 but there is a nice Cafe and a bakery nearby - coffee and cake about €3.50.

We stayed one night and the hotel was great for that! City is in walking distance, rooms are very clean, check-in and check-out very easy and in English language... streetside rooms have traffic noise if window is open...for us it was a great choice for a decent price!!!!

Vier Sterne steht drauf und die sind auch drin

Die Bewertungen meiner Vorgängerinnen und Vorgänger liess mich dieses Hotel auswählen. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Vom Hauptbahnhof liegt dieses Hotel keine fünf Gehminuten entfernt und befindet sich in diesem belebten Quartier doch in einer Querstrasse, wo nicht soviel Verkehr und Trubel herrscht. In der gleichen Strasse befinden sich mehrere Youth Hostels, das stört aber keineswegs.
Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Fremdsprachenkenntnisse scheinen zudem ansprechend zu sein. Für die, die es brauchen.
Das Hotel sowie die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Mein Einzelzimmer war aber sehr knapp bemessen. Viel Platz bleibt nicht, doch für meinen Wochenendtrip kein Problem.
Das Frühstück ist wirklich top und bietet für jeden etwas. Auch die Bedinung war hier angemessen.
Zu den Kritikpunkten, zugegeben auf höherem Niveau: Warum WLAN in der heutigen Zeit, obwohl auch viele Anbieter akzeptiert werden, pro Stunde 3 Euro kostet, ist mir schleierhaft in der heutigen Zeit. Man kann zwar auch Tages- oder ein Fünfstundenzugänge (6 Euro) kaufen, doch die laufen immer nach dem ersten Login unerbittlich bis zum Ende durch.
an meinem Wochenende feierte man hier im Hotel die Ankunft des diesjährigen Beaujolais. Es war reichlich Betrieb und am Samstag Abend waren die Hallen gefüllt mit Leuten. Dagegen ist ja nichts einzuwenden. Warum man aber morgens um zwei Uhr noch alle Tische im Innenhof verstauen muss, das ist mir unerklärlich. Vor allem wenn wohl fast die Hälfte der Gäste ihr Zimmer auf diese Seite hat. Das wurde mite einem solchen Lärm getan, dass fast eine Stunde an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Hier würde ich von einem Viersternehaus einfach mehr Rücksicht erwarten.

Super Hotel in perfekter Lage

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral.
Die Tram Station sowie die S Bahn Station sind in unmittelbaerer Nähe. Bis zum Hbf läuft man ca 10 min zur Teresienwiese ca 15 min .
Wir hatten ein Studio zur Strassenseite, jedoch keinerlei Lärmbeeinträchtigung.
Das Zimmer war sehr gross , sauber und mit allen notwendigen ausgestattet. Internet Verbindung (LAN) war kostenfrei.
Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich .
Im Hotel steht ebenfalls ein Fitnessraum mit sehr neuen und hochwärtigen Geräten zur Verfügung .
Alles in allem haben wir haben keinerlei Beschwerdepunkte und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch in diesem Hotel

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes, kahles und leer wirkendes Entree, aber sehr zuvorkommendes, hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption.
Die Lage ist hervorragend, selbst bei eisigem Wetter
Ist der Fussweg ins Zentrum der Stadt leicht bewältigbar, aber auch die Anreise per U-Bahn z.B. zum BMW-Museum ist supereinfach, da der Abgang zu den Verkehrsmitteln direkt vorm Hotel liegt.
Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Great location, right above a U Bahn stop. DO NOT have breakfast at the hotel- 22 euros per person. Not worth it. Go across the street to Yellow Cafe. There is a charming small biergarten down the road called Villa Flora, with delicious, reasonably priced food and friendly staff.

I attended a trade show at the convention center. The underground/metro is right outside the door, so location was great even though it is a 30 minute subway ride with one train switch at Hauptbahnhof. It is only a 4 stop ride to the center of the city for anyone wanting to sightsee, drink German beer and eat sausages and saurkraut. I stayed on one of the club floors, with a lounge providing complimentary breakfast and snacks till 11:00 pm, including beer and wine. They also provided high speed internet lan upon request. I did have breakfast in the main restaurant on a couple of occasions, and it was very good.

The hotel was in an excellent location, 5 - 10 minute walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, metro/train. We had 2 rooms for our family of 5. Initially we had a problem with one room; there was a horrible banging noise that started up hours later. They kindly moved us to another room that was "no smoking"; however, it was a "smoking" room 6 months earlier and the rugs/bedspreads still reeked of smoke. They kindly changed our room again and it was fine. The staff was efficient and friendly. We went out for coffee/breakfast every morning because we did think the food at the hotel was expensive. I guess we are spoiled Americans and like having a coffee machine in our rooms but there was none and the coffee in the lobby was expensive (plenty of coffee shops). And breakfast was not included. Despite that we would still highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is an elegant hotel situated on one of the fancier streets in munich. The neighbours are Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton.
Its clientele appear to be older and wealthy. There is lots of fur on display at this time of year, we were there for the Christmas Markets. Every now and then, what appears to be European Celebrates flash by in large sunglasses.
The Hotel is an international hotel and every member of staff I encountered spoke fluent English and I'm sure I heard them speaking Italian, Russian and Spanish too. The Staff were very friendly and helpful at every encounter.
The room was clean and pleasantly decorated. My only minor complaint was that the double room we booked appeared to have two single beds pushed together. Not the end of the world and I though this might be the case based on the description.
While we there it was a Sunday in advent and we received a "gift from Santa". Chocolates, Nuts and Oranges in a pretty red bag. This is a little example of the nice touches you experience at this hotel.
We did eat in the lobby one evening. It was very enjoyable, even if you only did it for people watching. But I do think there nicer, more affordable dining options only a block away.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for old world charm in a prefect location to see down town Munich.

I've always had very pleasant stays whenever I stay at a Maritim Hotel, however, (but as with most hotels) the gym is lacking. Restauraunt on site was fantastic as well as the lounge. The neighbourhood, as well as most of Munchen, was too much like Detroit.

This hotel is good value for the money and in a great location. It is a 5 minute walk from the rail station (one transfer from the airport), next to the Olympic Park, and 5 minutes from the BMW world headquarters, museum and factory. It is in a residential complex so there are inexpensive restaurants and shops located on the adjacent street. A bit hard to spot the entrance as it is just one door along with doors to shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful and the breakfast, included in our rate, was substantial. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great area! One block to the train (Nordfriedhof station) and a grocery store, delicious bakery, Apotheke right around the hotel! Highly recommend (and get the 3 day visitor pass for the train)! Champions restaurant is great when you've eaten all of the German food you can stand and want a good old cheeseburger and fries!

I found the staff Very helpful,knowledgeable and polite.The room was more than I expected for the money, and I will stay there again when I return.
