This Hotel excelled in all aspects. We manage to upgrade to a Rhine River room which was superb. Restaurants and bars were top class. Avery enjoyable stay at what we thought a reasonable price. Will return.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They were the best! The room was clean and comfortable in addition to being a triple. We also loved how close it was to the train station! First room of our trip that the air conditioner actually worked and they have free wi-fi and still cost less than most of our other accomodations!

We wanted a place close to the Mainz train station so we could easily get back to the Frankfurt train station. This was a perfect spot. It only took about 20 minutes. We only had one night but it was close enough to the old city and shops that we easily walked there. We were able to sit at a couple of outdoor cafes, watch people, and have a beer and coffee. The area around the hotel has a lot of activity in the evening but not obnoxious. We even slept with the window open and we were on the first floor. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The place is clean, especially the bathroom, but it is a little outdated. Having said that, the beds were comfy, the wi-fi was free and the breakfast was great. We were surprised. It included scrambled eggs, bacon, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, yogurt, juices, breads and rolls, coffee, and tea. You can also make an expresso or cappucino. We got a smoking room which was a little stinky. We did not request a non-smoking room which we should have done. I assume they have some. So for one night it was fine.

The hotel was very close to the Fasching celebrations and the downtown area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The price that I found at [...] were very good. We did not have the breakfast as it was a bit pricey but there are bakeries just down the road. I would stay there again.

The hotel was much nicer than anticipated. Everything was new and spotless. The only complaint we had was with the staff. We started with the customary "Do you speak English" and were given a rude response. Also the staff was far too busy doing nothing to help us figure out how to get somewhere nearby. We were told to consult the internet (which of course, you have to pay quite a bit for).

The hotel is quite new and very comfortable. Across big intersection from train station. We arrived by boat, so it was a bit difficult to find. (But we left by train, which was very easy.) 10-15 minute walk to city center for sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price.

The airport and the exhibition center Frankfurt are about 30 kilometers away. There are two bus stops directly located at the hotel, where buses depart continuously to the old historical town. We have 215 comfortable rooms decorated in Mediterranean style equipped with excellent quality beds and Tea & Coffee Stations. Some of the rooms are very spacious and offer a separate living and sleeping area as well as cooking facilities. Enjoy our vital breakfast with a magnificent view at Mainz. The restaurant "Da Arnaldo" is located next to the hotel and offers you Italian specialties. You can use our spacious gym 24 hours or take a walk in the nearby Hardenberg-Park. There are 110 parking places in our garage free of charge.

This is a good hotel for its class, with a convenient location between the city centre and the river. (09/08 lh) The hotel is 7 storeys high and of a contemporary design. This cosy family-run hotel is centrally located. The main train station and the conference centre Rheingold Halle are within easy walking distance. It is situated across the road from the Rhine River.

Nice hotel for short business trips

The hotel is not perfectly located close to the center, but very well connected by the public transportation system. Several bus routes stop right across from the hotel going to the main station and/or the university. The staff is friendly, but seems to have no experience with foreign travelers who make the booking online. There were some hiccups at the end when I checked out.

Gutes Hotel und reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Aussicht

Der neue Teil macht einen sehr schönen, geschmackvollen Eindruck. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im alten Teil mit Abstrichen in Ausstattung und Zustand.
Leider hat mein Vorgänger im Zimmer geraucht. Aber das gute Frühstück hat entschädigt und ich vermute die Zimmer im neuen Teil sind wesentlich
moderner.
Wellness mit Sauna und Fitness sowie ein paar wunderschöne Aquarien und ein Terrariumbereich mit Palmen gibt es übrigens auch.
Auch gemütlich ist die Bierstube oder wer möchte das feinere Restaurant. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht.
