Very close walking distance to shopping district Kö and Rhine river walk and Old City. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary refreshments in the minibar. Simply great value for the price and nice small hotel.

Wir waren zu einem Fussballspiel aus Braunschweig angereist und hatten von einem Freund den Tip zu dem NH Hotel erhalten. Man muss sagen das eigentlich alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit war und wir ihr Hotel durchaus weiterempfehlen werden. Falls die Fortuna nicht aufsteigt werden wir uns nächstes Jahr wieder sehen, versprochen :-)

This hotel is located conveniently 2 blocks from the train station and easy walking distance to the Old Town for restaurants and Duesseldorf's homegrown beer havens. Highly recommend this hotel. While the room I chose was small, it included a safe, a strong shower in a well-lit and attractive bathroom. I slept soundly. Hard to ask for more.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the doorman cheerfully and friendly towards my 5 year old boy. We love the modern interior and furnishing of this hotel. Great location, near shopping area and a good stroll to the old part of town. We will come back to this hotel.

C'est malheureux de trouver que le service est excessif... Certains trouverons cela parfait, pas moi !

Wir hatten ein sehr ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick auf den kleinen , aber liebevoll dekorierten Hinterhof! Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und auch sehr liebevoll dekoriert! Man merkt, hier gibt es einen Blick aufs Detail! Die Lage ist sowieso super! Entweder 1 Min. zur U-Bahn oder 10 Min. zu Fuß durch den schönen ruhigen Hofgarten zur Altstadt!

This is a modern hotel with spacious rooms. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Service was excellent. The location is only 10 minutes by tram from the centre and there are good connections across the city. Highly recommended!

Kleines aber feines Stadthotel. Sehr schones Flair.
Sehr großzügige Zimmer mit großem und bequemem Bett. Farblich vieles in Schwarz/Weiß gehalten. Großes Bad mit barrierefreier Dusche, großer Badewanne und kompletter Ausstattung (genügend Abstellfläche und Haken an der Wand).
Zimmer, die zum Innenhof liegen bieten zwar keine schöne Aussicht, sind aber Nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster absolut ruhig.
Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum mit reichhaltigem Buffet, gutem Kaffee (aus einem WMF-Automat), frischem Obstsalat, Joghurts. Sehr nette Bedienung.
An der Rezeption sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Im März 2012 noch analoger Satelittenempfang im TV, daher das Bild miserabel.
Alles in allem aber sehr zu empfehlen.

Room was certainly not superior. Bed was a small double and not a king size as specified. We had two single duvets on the bed and when I asked for one larger duvet, we ended up with three small duvets. Pillows were also poor quality. I had thought breakfast was included but ended up paying 18 Euros per person per day - not enough explanation/information from the receptionist when we arrived. Internet was slow. No bar service in the day/evening. On the plus side, staff were pleasant, good decor and it was in a reasonably good location. Having stayed at different hotels in Dussledorf I thought a boutique hotel would be a nice change - sorry but I will not be returning to this one

Wij hadden 2 x een 2 pers. kamer geboekt voor 4 pers.
Een kamer was inderdaad voor 2 pers. en de2de kamer was een1 persoons. Daar werd een bank neer gezet waar je kon slapen in een hele kleine ruimte.Ook was daar alles qua drinken voor 1 pers. i.p.v. voor 2 personen. ( je betaald het wel )
De volgende ochtend dachten we te gaan ontbijten alles bezet 6 tafeltjes.( 75 kamers in het hotel ) Om 9:55 weer geprobeerd maar werden we met een snauw aangesproken of we nog dachten te gaan eten want het ontbijt was tot 10:00 uur. Nou, nee want er was niets meer. In de stad dus maar gegeten. Het personeel was niet echt vriendelijk of behulpzaaam.

I had an overnight layover and stayed at the Maritim with my wife and 11-month-old daughter. The staff was great, taking care of all necessary arrangements to make sure the baby was comfortable. We ate lunch at the restaurant in the lobby and the food and staff were also very good. I made several long-distance phone calls to Greece and the US and expected to pay an arm and a leg, but they charged me a VERY reasonable 5-euros. I really appreciate that. The location couldn't be better. It's about 100 meters/yards from the airport entrance. It was so convenient, we strolled over a couple times to buy some snacks and to walk around. We tried to book on the return leg, but we (unfortunately) decided to try the Sheraton. It was like night and day--no comparison. I will recommend the Maritim to all my friends.

The BEST WESTERN Ambassador Hotel is a comfortable hotel with 62 newly furnished rooms, equipped with all the amenities that you can expect from a 3-star hotel located in the heart of Düsseldorf. We are within walking distance to the main train station, from where you can easily reach any part of Düsseldorf and the neighbouring cities. The Capitol Musical Theatre, the "longest bar in the world"- the Dusseldorf Altstadt and the famous shopping areas are also "just around the corner". We have our own small carpark in the courtyard, reservations for that are not possible.
