Great location for travel. Great staff

The location was fabulous, we collected our luggage at the airport, walked across the street and checked in! Check-in was friendly and immediate. The room was perfect, except for the fact that we are very uncomfortable sleeping with duvets as covers, too hot, but that is personal preference, the rest of the world seems to like duvets. Our TV did not work and was replaced immediately with many apologies. The restaurant attached was very good, and moderately expensive. Good service. The room was furnished well with a coffee and tea set-up. The bathroom had all the usual lotions, shampoos, etc. Check out was fast and courteous. I would use the Sheraton Dusseldorf Airport again.

I had an overnight layover and stayed at the Maritim with my wife and 11-month-old daughter. The staff was great, taking care of all necessary arrangements to make sure the baby was comfortable. We ate lunch at the restaurant in the lobby and the food and staff were also very good. I made several long-distance phone calls to Greece and the US and expected to pay an arm and a leg, but they charged me a VERY reasonable 5-euros. I really appreciate that. The location couldn't be better. It's about 100 meters/yards from the airport entrance. It was so convenient, we strolled over a couple times to buy some snacks and to walk around. We tried to book on the return leg, but we (unfortunately) decided to try the Sheraton. It was like night and day--no comparison. I will recommend the Maritim to all my friends.

Ich brauchte kurzfristig eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit und die Buchung über ebookers war so simpel.... Das Hotel ist klasse und ruhig gelegen. Mein Einzelzimmer war üppig eingerichtet. Einziges Manko war die fehlende automatische Eingangstüre und das doch recht teure extra zu bezahlende Frühstück. Aber wenn ich mal wieder in Düsseldorf übernachten werde, weiss ich jetzt schon wo!

I had to check in before noon, due to my early arrival, but the Lindner had my room ready. It was on th 4th floor overlooking a lovely garden with bird song. No street noise, but any hallway noise could be heard through the entry door. I didn't hear any noise from the rooms on either side and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet at night, but early morning departing guests would have woken me if I hadn't already been awake to depart.. There are long bathrobes on request, very cozy, a beautiful sauna and sunroom, apples at the front desk and sauna and also free use of umbrellas and bikes. Both the nearby bakery with sandwiches and pastries and Anna's pizzeria have delicious food, with reasonable prices of less than 10 euros for lunch and only blocks away. After walking out the front lobby, turn left, cross the street and walk 2 blocks to the bakery with the yellow awning, then 3 or 4 blocks past the video games sign to the Italian pizzeria. Although bright and nicely decorated, the hotel restaurant was too expensive and it was closed during the middle of the day. Two small grocers share the ground floor of the hotel and offer very reasonable croissants, drinks sandwiches and plent of necessities, but closed on Sunday. My room was spacious, twin bed, a safe, mini bar, flat screen tv, phone, plenty of reading lights and table and chairs and desk, the only drawbacks are no tea or coffee-maker and having to keep your room keycard in the slot by the entry for the bathroom light to work--don't know why they do this. The heater control was located very low on the right side of the radiator under the window, not operated from the wall thermostat. The window opens for ventilation. The front desk told me the thermostat was only for AC. The wake up call was on time and free airport shuttle was quick and comfortable. I called the front desk for a bellhop to handle my bags, but hadn't seen one when I arrived. The lobby has complimentary use of a laptop for business, so was able to check my flight and print out boarding passes at no cost. A free shoe shine machine is near the elevator. Everything is clean, with great attention to conserving energy-- like "motion lights" in the hallways. Along the left side of the hotel is a small canal with a walking and bike path that is very attractive with benches. The residential area around the hotel is nicely kept and seems upscale. Very happy with my hotel stay, the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. This was my first stay at this hotel chain. I am a solo female senior citizen traveler with extensive travel experience, mostly leisure trips.

We booked this hotel through Orbitz at a great discount price, following an airline booking we made with them from ROM to MIA with an overnight in DUS. I'm not sure of their regular prices, but for us, it was the least expensive place we stayed in 29 days of travel (75.00 Euros) so the value was outstanding. We were tired and did not use any of the amenities, but we saw several people using their bar and restaurant and they looked pleased. When we were assigned our room, we turned on the A/C and it was very noisy. We reported it immediately (before unpacking) and were told they would send a repair man to check it. Instead, we requested another room and we were accommodated immediately. The room was of a fair size: small but comfortable and had a large plasma TV, a table and two chairs, and the decor was very modern and pleasing. The bathroom was large and had a bathtub with a shower and everything was super clean. Be aware that the "half" shower door, does not seal the seepage of water into the floor, so the floor towel/mat got soaked and rendered useless when I got out of the shower. The beds where very comfortable with excellent sheets. We took a short walk around the block and even though it was Sunday, we spotted a supermarket just next to the hotel, a tavern type restaurant, a deli and a Chinese restaurant, all open! We chose Chinese (go figure!) and we liked their food very much. Unless I had a connection the next morning, or some business to take care of around the area, I would choose a different location but for our purposes it was perfect. There is ONE computer at the lobby that can be used for free, but Internet at the room is available at an extra charge, which seems to be the norm in Europe (with some very unusual exceptions).

The stuff was friendly. The rooms are spacy and well decorated. The only problem I found with this hotel is that although I asked for a non-smoker room, the room that they gave me was disturbingly smelling on cigarets. Quite annoying for a non-smoker.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Sehr gute Dusche mit ordentlicher Wassermenge und Temperatur. Gemütliche Betten. Grandiose Aussicht beim Frühstück. Sehr reichhaltiges, frisches, leckeres Frühstück. Nur Parken sollte für Hotelgäste kostenlos sein! Nächstes Jahr zur Boot auf jeden Fall wieder Tulip Inn Arena!

Après une journée dans le bruit et les odeurs, c'est bon de se retrouver au calme.... Hôtel facile d'accès et très agréable.

It was quite a modern, hi tech experience at the Düsseldorf Airport (Ratingen) Tryp. Great if you are on business and have a car; close to Autobahn to get you to the Düsseldorf, Duisburg and the NRH regions. The hotel is near the edge of the community and the area is quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The center feature of the room was an open glass cylinder shower between the bed and washroom. The toilet, thankfully, is in a small separate room! The room had the usual mini fridge, a microwave, a small sink above it. The sink had probably not been used in a while as there was the distinct smell of sewer gas in the immediate area. Thankfully, a rolling shutter closed off the sink area. A work desk wing has the phone and a wired internet connection (wifi is not available) at no extra charge. Bring your own CAT5 cable or the desk will loan you one. Parking is also complimentary. There are many spaces but they do tend to fill up. The overflow is handled by parking on the street. The breakfast buffet is one of the better I've experienced. Many choices presented to the customer with care and attention to detail. There was even a cook on hand to prepare omelets to order. I would definitely return on the next visit.

Das Hotel hat für die Durchreisenden alles, was sie sich wünschen mögen, bereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und grosszügig eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgezeichnet. Das Restaurant konnte ich nicht besuchen. Die Lage ist verhältnismässig gut; leicht erreichbar mit Auto und Flugzeug/Taxi. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Es ist bestimmt kein Haus für Ferien oder Erholung. Besten Dank für die ausgezeichnete Gastfreundschaft.

The`Treff Hansa hotel is a great value. The room was very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and very proffessional. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I will stay again next time I come.

The Treff Hansa Dusseldorf/Mettman has a very helpful and friendly check in staff. The beds were comfortable with clean white duvets everyday. Lots of hanging space for clothes, a small table and desk with chairs. The bathroom was spacious with a large bathtub/shower. One large window opened either a small amount from the top or wider from the side. The days when it was very warm out, the room would be stuffy without the window wide open. There didn't seem to be an air conditioner. But most of the days had some rain to cool off with. The breakfast that came with the room reservation was plentiful, but not varied day to day. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, yogurts, meats and breads. It was easy to enjoy either an American breakfast or a German breakfast or both. The location was easy to find and very centrally located for touring in and around the Dusseldorf/Rhine area. We would gladly stay here again.
