The hotel was great. Room was large and spotless. Location is off the beaten path, but right at a subway station. There are more than one hotel with the same name, so make sure the driver knows which one.

We want to make sure, that People with all there different requirements feel good inside friends and so we accomodated the 41 Rooms of Hotel Friends as far as possible on these wishes.
Beside that we developed premises in a modern but livable Design.

The location is great and right next to the main train station. However, it is located on a street that feels pretty isolated. The staff was friendly but they did put us in a room that did not have an elevator so we had to carry heavy suitcases down stairs. No one offered to help with our suitcases. There is also no coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was also very high at 19 EUROs. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, quiet but too expensive for what you get.

This hotel is located conveniently 2 blocks from the train station and easy walking distance to the Old Town for restaurants and Duesseldorf's homegrown beer havens. Highly recommend this hotel. While the room I chose was small, it included a safe, a strong shower in a well-lit and attractive bathroom. I slept soundly. Hard to ask for more.

Hotel was less than a 5 minute walk from the main train station which was great and about the only positive about INTERCITYHOTEL. When I checked in on Thursday I was given a tiny room with a single bed with a foam mattress.This is something one would expect at a youth hostel. Management said they couldnt do anything because thats what I booked. When I booked the trip I personally spoke to one of your operators who assured me the bed woud be double twins or one queen size bed.The manager brushed me off to one of his clerks who promised to move me to a larger room by Saturday. The room I was given reeked of tobacco. I had booked a non smoking room. It was not until Monday that this was finally resolved with a larger room and great difficulty. The hotel restaurant and bar were closed the whole 2 weeks I was there.They only served breakfast for 15 euros.One morning there was no hot water all morning.Also Internet service was provided with prepaid cards with access codes that you could log on with. I asked how to log off. I was told service would log off automatically about 10 minutes after turning off laptop. Needless to say my 5 hour cards were used up rather prematurely.Lastly,twice during my stay fire alarms and voice alarms to evacuate the building sounded in room and hallway both times a little after 8AM.When I inquired what was going on I was informed that someone was smoking in a non smoking room.No apologies, no compensation for waking me up when I was out late during my stay In Dusseldorf.When I checked out and payed my tab, [...], the morning clerk never replied good morning, how was your stay?, or have a safe trip. She just glumly said "18 euros". I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort.

A good hotel in a fantastic location and a nice street - excellent for all public transport and also for exploring the city by foot. 0708 hm A modern Rhineland style townhouse. The hotel is located right in the city centre within a short walking distance of the central train station not more than 2 minutes walk.

Hotel decente con buen desayuno y psicina. No pudimos usar el Jacuzzi pero por lo demás todo estuvo según lo esperado con habitación amplia y no muy ruidosa.

The BEST WESTERN Ambassador Hotel is a comfortable hotel with 62 newly furnished rooms, equipped with all the amenities that you can expect from a 3-star hotel located in the heart of Düsseldorf. We are within walking distance to the main train station, from where you can easily reach any part of Düsseldorf and the neighbouring cities. The Capitol Musical Theatre, the "longest bar in the world"- the Dusseldorf Altstadt and the famous shopping areas are also "just around the corner". We have our own small carpark in the courtyard, reservations for that are not possible.
