The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We received a free upgrade on arrival. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious with a large bed and shower. The swimming pool and sauna facilities were excellent and the gym was well-equipped. The hotel is minutes away from the shops, cafes and restaurants of the town centre and seconds away from a walk along the Rhine and visit to its many beer gardens. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Die Dame am Empfang war allein und damit überfordert. Hat uns mehrfach warten lassen. Beim Check-Out wollte sie den vollen Preis berechnen, hat erst auf meinen Protest hin, die Anzahlung üer [die Webseite] berücksichtigt und sich nicht mal entschuldigt. Für ein 4 Sterne-Hotel inakzeptabel.

I only used the hotel as a base while visiting family, but it was great. An easy bus ride, or a short and pleasant walk, from the main station. Lots of nice bars and restaurants in the locality.

Ein Luxushotel, das besonderen Wert auf Design legt. Betritt man die Lobby wird man aber vor lauter Farben, Formen Lichtern und Einrichtungen fast erschlagen. Vor allem das agressive Rot überall trägt nicht gerade zur Beruhigung bei. Wie auch immer, das ist Geschmackssache. Sonst war alles top, vom Empfang zum Service, Zimmer und Restaurants. Hingegen ist auch das Kameha ein Hotel, das nur beschränkt gratis W-LAN Zugang offeriert. Schade, dass ausgerechnet hier geknausert wird. Auch die Lage sollte beachtet werden. Das Hotel befindet sich ganz dezentral.

I stayed here because it was by far the cheapest one that showed up [...] Not located in downtown Bonn, but fairly easy to access by public transportation (an underground station is very close to the hotel). It takes about 10 minutes to reach Bonn central station. The reception staff were reasonably friendly, and the room was basic but clean. I clicked the dining options tab below because I was unable to proceed further otherwise - however, I did not dine at the hotel and have no idea whether they have in-house facilities.

From the hotel it is not far to the picturesque castle "Schloss" in Poppelsdorf.
0608 hm The building is a very modern block built in the 1970's and it is very imposing, though not classically beautiful. The hotel is situated in a peaceful yet central location on the famous picturesque "Poppelsdorfer Allee" next to the train station and only a short stroll away from city centre.

It is an ideal location for exploring Bonn, its urroundings and the region.0608 hm The entrance faces the road and is covered by a glass canopy that stretches across the pavement, whist the rest of the building is modern but subtle in appearance. The hotel is positioned in an ideal central location on a quiet city side street near the rhine. The railway station is just round the corner.

Sympathisches Hotel mit freundlichem Personal und Service. Check-in klappt schnell und unkompliziert und man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen. Tolles Frühstücksbüffet. Zudem ist das Hotel sehr zentral in Bonn gelegen, sowohl die Uni mit seinen Parks und die Altstadt sind innert weniger Gehminuten zu erreichen. Und der Rhein ist auch nicht weit weg. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Es ist kein gratis WLAN verfügbar. Man muss eine teure T-Online Verbindung kaufen.

The hotel fit my usiness needs and it did offer a very good service, however the charge of 8.00 EUR per hour for Internet access seems too high, considering that there are several cafe's just outside which offer free Internet..
These small thing add up to build good reputation, unfortunately this minor incident left a bad taste.

It was clean. The room was tiny. The bed took up most of the room. The bathroom fit one person at a time. We are small people. I can't imagine what a tall or larger person would do in a bathroom like the one here!

I attend a UNFCCC meeting. I would like more closet space to hang up suits. Some IBIS hotels offer free internet for personal laptop in the lobby. The free internet use of the hotel computer is good.

This first class hotel is in Bonn old city. The river Rhine is nearby as are many restaurants. Many guests like staying with us because the Altstadt is only a few steps away from the pedestrian zone and the subway station. By car and by train you will need about 30 minutes to get to the Cologne/Bonn airport and to the Cologne-Exhibition grounds. Since 27 years, private hotels in 2 villas in a quiet part of Bad Godesberg, well known, good service, bar, bistro, wellness near the Rhine river and also near the city center. Closed to the congress center, Scienece center, UNO, Telekom, Deutsche Post, Metro, mainstation. The airport is easy to reach.
