The Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin is numbered amongst the largest conference centers in the world, and is used for events from live music to ballet, sports, arts and comedy.

Major Point of Interest

A great start for a Berlin outing is the Reichstag building and its glass dome, from which most of the city's major landmarks can be seen. The lines are long and security is comprehensive, but worth it.

Berlin has countless stores, independent, designer and vintage. Alexanderplatz is a great place to start, as this transport hub offers easy access to most of the major shopping areas and is close to several Berlin hotels.

Sports

Hertha BSChas recovered from its less than prestigious past and has become one of Germany's premier football teams. The city is also home to the Berlin Capitals and EHC Eisbaren Berlin ice hockey teams, which are becoming more popular with the locals.
