A nice, quiet hotel which is very conveniently located right next to a U-bahn station. The bar down stairs is pleasant and reasonably priced and the hotel is happy to upgrade you to a better room if it's available. We'd definitely go back there.

J'aurais volontiers mis excellent hôtel mais le petit déjeuner ( avec tout parait-il) à 21 € a refroidi quelque peu mon enthousisame;
Sinon j'ai déjeuné dehors dans une boutique à 5,5e le matin et le midi ou le soir vous pouvez aller de ma part chez le traiteur asiatique ( en fait une petite boutique restaurant à la sortie du métro Nollendorf nommée SAMUI) ( petite soupe à 1,50€ ou grande soupe à 2€ et plat plus boisson pour 7€).
Sinon l'Hôtel était très bien hormis les problèmes d'acoustique ( le matin on entend les bruits du voisinage.)

Wonderful hotel to anchor a visit to Berlin

Until arriving, we did not realize how central and perfect a locatio this was to introduce us to Berlin. Our room was perfectly appointed and maintained. All the staff were more than courteous, and the concierge desk went out of their way to answer our questions, make our reservations, and direct us to interesting destinations.

The hotel was centrally located for sights in Berlin. The staff was efficient. Great places to eat right in the square outside the front door. Took sightseeing hop on- hop off because we only had two days and the bus stopped across the street. Sights are mostly within walking distance. I received room upgrade and executive lounge previleges because I'm a Hilton honors member. This included free breakfasts, snacks, all kinds of drinks in a really pleasant lounge and free wifi. They gave us a late checkout - 3PM and it really helped us enjoy the city even more. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with A/C. I hated leaving the hotel at checkout. This is a really good value. If you are going to Berlin stay here!

Stayed 3 nights for Berlin Marathon. Check in was excellent and advised to join loyalty programme to get 50% off breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful.
Room was excellent with really modern feel. Nice big open shower in bathroom, only downside was lack of UK TV channels if you are that interested.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty refreshment of food from start to finish. 16 euros is a bit steep but at half price excellent value.
Hotel was 5 minute walk to tube station taking you to various areas within the city. Couple of small shops nearby for any needs.

very good space in the family room. The noice from the traffic was a little bit disturbing so you could not open the windows, but the hotelroom had great aircondition, or else it would be too hot.
Modern and delicate. Breakfast was also great!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was a good, comfortable size. The free bottles of water in the room frige, replaced daily, was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of closet space and the pants presser was good to have. The only negative was that the room was a bit dry without opening the window. The Reception Staff was friendly,spoke English well, helped with my high school German pronounciation and grammar and full of practical information. They encouraged us to walk as much as possible despite the U-bahn station being across the street. We would stay there again and recommend the Derag Hotel Henriette to others. The only drawback is that the Hotel has only one Restaurant, a fine Indian restaurant and there are few others close by. But, of course, one can always walk a little way to nearby streets full of good places to eat and ask for a menu with English!

Derag Henriette is located near to the best sites in Berlin. The ubahn stop is minutes away and museums are only a short walk away. The staff was very attentive and helpful and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. This hotel is a great value hotel.

Erg luxe hotel met super kamers en drie sauna's met klein zwembad ,massage
,nachtclub,geluiddicht en superontbijt.Voor vijf sterren nog goedkoop ook.Tussen KADEWE (10 minuten lopen) en Potsdammerplatz gelegen .Niet direkt bij metro (5 minuten lopen dus gaat wel hoor) Maar hou je van een flinke wandeling dan zijn bijna alle bezienswaardigheden ook te belopen .Direct bij het grote stadspark bij mooi weer zeker naar de oefer van de spree gaan speciaal in het weekeinde .Ook brandenburger Tor,Reichstag,Unter den Linde ,Potzdammerplatz op ong 15/20 minuten lopen. Ong 8 min van gayscene .Maar beetje erg luxe om in je uitgaanscloffie door de lobby te gaan ,hoewel sommige dames ook best wel chick en gewaagd gekleed gaan in Berlijn...Grappige terras rond de ingang ,afgeschermd van de weg/overdekt/toch buiten en relaxste zit met zicht op de sportauto's van de gasten.Alle kamers minimaal twee persoons

This only just rounds up to a 4, and that's because of the great location. It's around the corner from the Stadmitte subway stop (U2/U6). Walking distance from Unter den Linden, Checkpoint Charlie, and Gendarmenmarkt.
No frills modern décor, with a bar area near the check-in desk. No free wifi in the rooms, but there is a wired connection. Mounted TV, clean beds, moderate-sized room. Not the best view, nor the most interesting nightlife around, but the area is quiet and safe. Breakfast is €12.
Downside: no shampoo/conditioner! Only body wash in a dispenser. Also, there is only one elevator.

Great Location! Walking distance to everything to include Checkpoint Charlie, Charlotten Tor, Friedrichstrasse which is the froo-froo shopping area, museums and especially a great Irish Pub called Good Times. If you're there for touring the city the room is perfect, clean, bed, shower, toilet. LoL. Bring your own toiletries though, they only have one of those "all purpose" soap dispensers in the shower. You are paying for the location, but at their price and depending at what time of the year you are going, it's a great deal! Again, don't be surprised, it's a "what you need" hotel, not what you want so think "bare minimal".

As first timers to Berlin and being that we were coming over the Christmas weekend, we did not know what to expect. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to all of the christmas markets and major attractions. We had included breakfast into our package and it was great. If you want a large breakfast to last you until dinner, eat at the hotel. I was amazed by the breakfast every morning. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the sauna was nice after a cold and rainy day. The staff assisted us to find restaurants open in the area. I would not consider another hotel after staying at this amazing hotel.

Wir hatten ein super Sonderangebot erwischt, das Hotel wäre aber auch locker den doppelten Preis Wert gewesen!
Die Lage direkt beim Bahnhof Friedrichstraße ist einfach perfekt, um sich in Berlin treiben zu lassen, denn man ist völlig zentral und hat zusätzlich die perfekte Anbindung an die Öffis.
Das Schwimmbad im obersten Stock ist sehr schön, und die Sauna sogar schon um 7 Uhr morgens beheizt.
Vom Frühstück waren wir restlos begeistert, es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt -Eier in verschiedenen Variationen, Lachsbrötchen, verschiedenste Früchte und Mehlspeisen, etc.etc..... immer ausreichend.
Das einzige Problem gab es im Badezimmer.
Wenn man die vorhandenen Massageduschen in Betrieb nahm, stand das gesamte Bad unter Wasser, und in der Toilette zeigten sich manchmal Dinge, von denen wir annehmen mussten, dass sie aus den oberen Stockwerken kamen, doch mit einmaligem Spühlen war das Problem jeweils erledigt.
Dieses Problem war im Hotel bekannt, erfordert sicher einen gröberen installationstechnischen Eingriff und konnte somit in den 4 Tagen unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben werden.
Bei einem kleinen Problem mit der Klimaanlage war sofort ein Haustechnilker zur Stelle und alles war sofort behoben.
Zum Personal ist anzumerken, dass alle freundlich und bemüht waren, die wenigsten Angestellten jedoch deutsch sprachen! (Englisch und besonders Spanisch waren sehr häufig.)
Alles in allem ein sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel, in das wir jederzeit wieder fahren würden!

We checked in late and were so ever pleasantly surprised at the quality of hotel and room. The staff went the extra mile to help us with tips of where to eat and play. We found the room to be very spacious and provided for out every need. This will be the only place we stay upon our next trip to Berlin.

I enjoyed my stay at the Art'otel Berlin Mitte. My sleek modern room had all needed amenities,plus the bonus of real contemporary art. Comfy bed with down comforters. Only addition I'd make is a better bedside reading lamp. Location was great with the UBahn station just across the street. Friendly, helpful staff. Only had breakfast at the restaurant, but the buffet was plentiful and tasty.

Hotel was located in the heart of the shopping district akin to 5th Avenue, Mag Mile or Rodeo Drive. Very Hip space with very helpful staff. Free Internet in the lobby. Five minute walk to two main subway stations.
At street-level, entrance is a bit hidden, but any taxi driver will know the place once they are given the address.

Staff was helpful, friendly and english was good. The hotel was tucked away and is simple. I was very impressed. In the heart of the shopping area and not far from city center. Great location. The rooms was good. Could use a microwave and firmer pillows. Otherwise goood job Berliner Hof.

Took breakfast at the hotel, staff were very helpful and food was top notch. The room was quite well decorated and very roomy for just one person. The Location though was the best - five minutes away from Potsdamer Platz meant that I was in the middle of the action. I enjoyed the ease at which the hotel could provide information, help and tickets for tours and places to eat. I will certainly stay there every time I return to Berlin

We were in Berlin visiting friends and visiting museums we hadn't been to in a long time. This hotel has the perfect location for all of that. It is very close to several important museums, it's a few minutes away from the lively Potsdamer Platz, and there is convenient bus service to all of the other cultural venues. It is a very nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The restaurants are a bit pricey, breakfast as well, and the parking costs are very high, even for this center city location

i didn't know about the whole "hostel" thing until I read scary reviews. This place was friendly, clean, great location and the room was gigantic!! For an inexpensive hotel in Berlin this was the perfect choice for us.

Great location right outside the U Bahn station with good connections to all the key Berlin sights.
Room was really clean & cosy, included a kitchenette but no appliances or cutlery.
Front desk staff were not particularly helpful, and didn't speak much English.
Overall good place to stay and great value in central Berlin!

The hotel is centrally located for all the activities we had planned. It was right by, as the name implies, Checkpoint Charlie and all manner of the 'to see' sites of Berlin ie: a section of 'The Wall', Brandenburg Gate, Under Linden Strasse, Third Reich etc etc. It is also just up the road from one of the stops (Checkpoint Charlie) for the multitude of 'hop on, hop off' bus tours.
To start though, we were met by Laura at the front counter and she would be how you would best describe as 'the ideal front person for your hotel'. Very bright and friendly, spoke good English and personally guided us to our 'palace of a room'!! Can't say enough about her and this set it up well for a great three days in Berlin.
As I said, the room (or apartment) was outstanding. heaps of space, all the facilities (even if you wanted to cook something yourself) and very quiet. Absolutely no complaints here!
Surrounding the hotel is a good selection of cafes and restaurants so you can pick and choose depending on your budget.
Parking available in their underground facility for 13 Euro per night which seemed standard and certainly a good 'piece of mind' in a big city.
The only down side (for us) was the fitness centre (a small stretch of the term) which, considering the size of the hotel, only consisted of treadmill and a 'stepper' in a room which was already hot as it had the sauna next to it and no air con. To use the treadmill you also had to go to reception to pick up the safety cord so you could actually use it.
Overall, a very pleasant stay in a quality hotel.

It was the second time that I have visited Berlin. It's a perfect hotel for a city break. Hotel is very close to next underground station "U6 Kochstrasse" (2-3 min to walk).
The Internet is for free since 2012, but therefore you have to pay more for breakfast, now 14EUR.
Staff is very friendly.

The Hotel is very convenient for City Centre, close to Checkpoint Charlie and Kochstrasse Underground station on U6 line.
Rooms are spotless and beds Very Comfortable.
Bathroom small but well appointed.
Breakfast is superb quality though location for the Hot Dishers/Toaster is at the bottom of a "U" shaped servery and can get congested whilst people wait for Toast, however worth waiting for.
From booking website we were slightly mislead in thinking Breakfast was included, which it is not, but this is the only criticism we have.
Our room (No 125 near Wilhelmstrasse) was a bit noisy with Traffic noise from early morning ,( we sleep with window open), but being so close to City this is probably unavoidable.
Low numbered rooms would avoid this noise but all in all the Hotel was excellent.

出発前にコンシェルジュに、日本では購入不可能な寝台車（鉄道）の切符の手配を頼んだのですが、大変親切で細やかな対応をしていただき、実際、お会いしてみると、思っていた通りの優しい方でした。
その他のホテルスタッフも皆フレンドリーで気持ちよく過ごすことが出来ました。内装はゴージャスでお部屋も広くて大満足♪
ドイツではティーファシリティがないのが普通のようですが、少し不便に感じました。そのかわり、冷蔵庫はありました。

This is a very, very expensive hotel and as such we were expecting a luxury hotel. We were travelling on our honeymmon and were given a room with two single beds (not even pushed together). We had to talk to two seperate people before our bed could be changed. Our bathroom was also lacking in bathroom amenities (sanitary bags). We rang twice and were told that someone from the hotel would be right up. They never came and we had to ring again the next day. Also note, don't drink in the lobby- 6 euros for a latte!

I selected this hotel as a conveniently-located comfortable option in downtown Berlin, to attend the Komische Oper Berlin summer festival.
I knew from a previous visit that the transit connections at this location are numerous. The S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram and bus systems are all available steps from the hotel.
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
During a very hot week in Berlin, the fact that the public areas and the rooms were well-conditioned was especially appreciated.
This is not a trendy choice, but definitely comfortable.

In Berlin for a two-yearly week to do some opera, museums, shopping, bars, meet friends. Being 64 years I prefer (youth-)hostels above chic hotels, especially when on my own budget;-).
This one is a bit Spartan, perfectly clean (or too new to be dirty), has ok staff, of course kids banging doors and nightly partying in neighbouring rooms, good breakfast buffet, good tea, lousy (American-type) coffee.
It's near Berlin Main station which is unfortunately in a part of town under development. However, on the airport buy a card valid on buses, trams, S-bahn (light rail with a good view of the city, like the EL in Chicago) and U-bahn (Subway) and experience the best, most frequent, most extensive 24/7 public transport in the world, starting a few minutes walk from this hostel.

The hotel was in a great location, many wonderful restaurants within walking distance as well as shops. As a tourist, the concierge was top notch - recommendations on what to do proved wonderful, tickets were secured. All my needs were handled effortlessly.
The only thing missing was good lighting in my room. The mood lighting of yellow, pink and purple hues although interesting, wasn't functional and resulted in having a room with very low to dark light. The room itself was well appointed as was the bathroom.

This hotel is a pleasant finding which I booked in a package with a flight. I stayed here for almost a week and it was great. Nice staff and breakfast. The management was nice enough to extend the breakfast until after lunch on the New Years day realizing that everyone was out a night before celebrating the new year. The room is small but very nicely decorated with style. Comfy bedding and lighting. I stayed in the "rewards" room so the standard rooms might look different. Centrally located with metro S+U located a block from the hotel.
