Description
The Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora redefines a south seas escape. On its own sublimely private Motu island the resort combines ultramodern pampering with unsurpassed tropical beauty including a dazzling white beach, a blue lagoon, brilliant sunsets and star-filled nights. Inspired by Polynesian architecture, guest accommodation is in a village-like setting of over-water bungalows and beachfront villas. Each has a large private terrace with snorkeling gear, high ceilings, teak wood furniture and large baths featuring deep tubs beside doors that slide open to the fresh-air and views of the lagoon. The resort offers extensive complimentary amenities including 4 restaurants and 2 bars, a kids for all seasons activity programme, an inner lagoon for snorkeling, a teen programme at their own private island, 2 tennis courts, a fitness centre, spa, outdoor swimming pool, 2 whirlpool tubs, complimentary non-motorized water sport activities including windsurfing, canoeing, paddle boards, kayaking and snorkeling. The on-site marine biologist explains Polynesian ecology, guides snorkeling tours, and other activities linked to the lagoon.

Dream Honeymoon

Bora Bora is breathtaking and the perfect place for a relaxing, low-key honeymoon. The Four Seasons resort made the experience even better. We were impressed from the moment we stepped off the boat when we were greeted on the pier by our personal conceirge who checked us in and escorted us around some of the grounds (there was also someone waiting by reception with a tray of glasses of mango juice- awesome!). The resort's beach, infinity pool, lagoon, grounds, etc. were all beautiful. All of the staff were very warm and friendly; I really felt like they cared that we had a memorable and enjoyable experience. The buffet breakfast was delicious; I loved that they had a different fresh juice each morning like guava pineapple or pineapple banana or whatever other wonderful combination they came up with. We had great dining experiences at the other restaurants as well. My only negative comment is that they charged us an excessive fee for the boat ride to and from the airport, which we didn't realize until reviewing the check-out statement after we arrived home. Considering that there aren't any other options to get to and from the resort, I think that is kind of taking advantage of the guests.

Lush tropical rainforests and its location at the edge of an azure lagoon make Bora Bora one of the most beautiful, romantic places in the world. Le Méridien Bora Boras 99 tropically themed bungalows are either perched over the spectacular lagoon or nestled at the edge of ivory sands shadowed by tall coconut trees. Over-water bungalows feature a glass-bottomed floor, providing stunning views of the marine life below. Beach bungalows offer private beaches and hammocks. Le Tipanie restaurant features a different themed cuisine each night of the week. The Kaïnalu Club offers traditional Polynesian outrigger canoes, jet skiing, sailing, shark feeding and scuba diving. The Turtle Sanctuary at Le Méridien Bora Bora, an effort to help save the magnificent hawksbill turtle, is the only one of its kind in French Polynesia. The hotel offers educational presentations to teach guests about these beautiful creatures, and guests can swim with the turtles in the picturesque lagoon or even “adopt” a turtle and help in the quest to return these animals to their natural wild habitat.
