Paris Hotels

Paris Hotels
Booking a Paris hotel stay has never been faster and easier. With reviews from customers who’ve stayed at these Paris hotels, photos and virtual tours, maps, and exclusive offers, you’ll find all the features you need to make an educated decision about your Paris hotel reservations.

Here are the some of the most popular destinations for a Paris hotel stay:

Paris Hotels Near the Eiffel Tower
If you choose a hotel in Paris near the Eiffel Tower, you will be near many museums and attractions in addition to the Eiffel Tower. There is the Museum of Man, Marine Museum, Quai Branly Museum, City of Paris Modern Art Museum, Guimet Museum and the Rodin Museum. As if that’s not enough, there is also the Champ de Mars Gardens, Palais de Chaillot, Palais de Tokyo, Bateaux mouches (riverboat cruises), Les Egouts (sewers), Ecole Militaire, Les Invalides, UNESCO and Maison de Radio France. You can find boutique and brand hotels (as well as a selection of accommodations and amenities of all levels) located in this exciting area of Paris right here on Orbitz.

Hotels in Paris Near the Musee du Louvre
Staying at a hotel in Paris near the Musee du Louvre will place you in the historic heart of Paris near the Ile de la Cite, one of two natural islands in the Seine. Nearby you will find the Hotel de Ville (city hall) and the old market district Les Halles, which was once the centerpiece of Paris’ activity and is still thriving today. Just some of the many attractions in this district are the Palais Royal, Tuileries Gardens, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Place Vendome, Musee d’Orsay and Pompidou Center. Take a lazy boat ride down the Seine River for fantastic views of the city.

Paris Hotels in Montmartre
Montmartre has historically been an enclave of artists, with Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec being just a few of its many famous residents. Stay at a Paris hotel in Montmartre and you will be near all that is unique and even eccentric about Paris life. Here you will be near Montmartre Cemetery (Degas and Dalida are just two of the many artists buried here), Moulin Rouge and Lapin Agile. This bohemian corner of the city is also home to its highest point, making for magnificent panoramic views, which are best taken in from the Sacre-Coeur basilica.

The center square of Montmartre, Place du Tertre, is where artists set up their easels and tourists can have portraits painted or just watch artists work, like they have done here for centuries. Only steps from this square you can find the Espace Salvador-Dali, a museum devoted to Dali’s artwork. What are you waiting for? Book your Paris trip on Orbitz right now!

Great Location

A great location, 2 blocks from Notre Dame and the Pantheon. Also close to great shopping, Boulevard St. Michel and rue St. Germain. Very clean but small rooms. We were promised a double bed, but got 2 twin beds pushed together. Very expensive breakfast. Sweet little cafes in the neighborhood. No computer for us to use, but free wi-fi if you have your own. helpful friendly staff.

Let me begin by saying that all hotels in Paris are miniscule. This one was no exception. It was just big enough to house my wife and I along with our belongings. Had we invited a guest to share a drink in the room, we would have had to glue him to the ceiling. That said, the decor and layout was lovely and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The lobby is cozy, and the staff is friendly. I did, however, have a problem with the wake up call service. On two of our five nights no call was placed and we overslept. Bring an alarm. The location in perfect: right near the Pantheon and within 2 blocks of St. Michel's commercial district, the Sorbone, the Latin quarter, and St. Severin. Overall highly recommended for location and value.

Solo Trip

As I was traveling by myself, I wanted to book my hotel in a very central location that was close to the metro. In this respect, this hotel was a perfect choice. However, on my first full day there, I had an issue using my credit card, and when trying to call out of the hotel to fix the situation, I ran into a slew of difficulties. The concierge was most unhelpful I explaining the phone situation. I was told I needed a phone card to call collect out of the hotel, sent on a wild goose chase to purchase a phone card, only to get back and be told you could not use a phone card with the hotel calling service. Very frustrating to say the least.

Great price for Paris

  • Boston Paul
  • Jun 30, 2011
The Hotel is Northwest of the center of the city. Many subway lines come there. If you prefer there is a shuttle bus to and from the airport for around 17 euro each way. Is worth it if it is a hot day. The Hotel was surprisingly clean. They charge extra for breakfast, setup on trays. You can carry your tray outside into a nice little garden. They also charge extra for internet. The neighborhood around the Hotel I found very nice. A local area with plenty of places to buy fresh food at markets or buy at restaurants and bars. The prices are much better then when you are in the center of Paris. If you have the chip and pin in your credit card you can rent bikes by the hour from stations all over the city. I did this for days and it was the perfect way to see the city and get around. For the price this Hotel was incredible!

Arirved early(approx 9:30am) was able to get in to the room, a little smell but they all are in europe, and unpack. No coffee in room. Location is just around the corner from the Louve putting it in easy walking to all other points of interest. Meny good places to eat with in a few blocks of Hotel. Great Paris location

  • Annapolis Traveler

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Westin and enjoyed it. The location is simply fantastic. The room we had was very large and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and, though I speak some French, were all fluent in English. I would very much recommend this hotel and given this is our 4th time in Paris, we have a sense as to what should be expected. This is better than most.

Great location next to two metro stops and in a great area (Bastille). The only negative would be the room decor was worn. It is probably time for them to spruce up the place, I would give the room 3 stars. The staff was great, price was even better. We would stay there again for sure.

I found my stay at this hotel perfect for what I needed. It is positioned in the latin quarter which was perfect for walking to and from everything I wanted to see with perfect access to all. The staff spoke English, which was wonderful and were perfectly accommodating. Very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has an elevator, a plus! Some reviews complained about noise on street but my room was on the street and I loved it!

Great area, easy to find

  • C&R
  • Jun 27, 2011
We are well-seasoned travelers who pack light, so do not bring big luggage with you. The rooms are very small, the bathroom is big (shower/tub), the beds are comfortable and clean (NO BUGS), and this hotel is in a FANTASTIC area, surrounded by great bars, restaurants, markets, Metro stops, etc. Do not leave valuables on top of cafe tables; some young girls ran by, swiped my guy's wallet and ran. A guy from Cafe Oz (next door) ran after the girls and GOT THE WALLET! We tipped him well. I wish there were a hot water pot in the room and the mini-fridge isn't exactly cold. If the weather is hot, I'm not sure what the room would be like climate-wise, but it was cool while we were there and we were quite comfortable with an open window. Cafe Zephyr next door is very nice too. Chartier Restaurant (around corner) is recessed into a building, but go for a late dinner. Order red wine and escargot. Inexpensive and very nice.

Great location

  • JPDillin
  • Apr 13, 2012
Narrow halls & staircases, typical of boutiquey Parisian hotels. This is right across from the Hotel de Ville Metro stop, so easy to get to from the airport. It's also a block or two from the Seine, and across the river from the Notre Dame. The rooms are tiny, but fully equipped. View out onto Rue Rivoli, which is a busy, main street. The location is perfect. Delicious boulangerie in a square a block away, and surrounded by dozens of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There's also a market across the street (I think on Saturday). It took less than an hour to take a train to Versaille for a day trip, and less than two hours out to Dijon for wineries. The Louvre, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame are a short walk away. Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs Elysees are a short Metro ride. Because of the location, I'd definitely stay here again.

The area looked a bit dodgy at first, but turned out not to be that bad. It's close to the Eurostar station and really close to a metro station. The hotel is smaller than expected, but was happy with the rooms and service. The breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. Good value for money.

It was good, near the Gare du Nord International train station so it was really easy for me to the station at 5 a.m. It was on January, a chilly night and early morning travel. Hotels, cafes and restaurants were nearby. The metro is near so not far from many attractions and the airport to by train. if you are taking a shared taxi then it will cost you 18 Euros (this is the price on 2010 Jan) or by cab almost 36 to 40 Euros. The only problem I had was no internet was there....

Great Little Hotel

  • Jun 4, 2011
This hotel was a lovely find within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. My girlfriend and I stayed in the junior sweet which overlooks the upper two portions of the tower. Although the advertising states the hotel was renovated in 2001, the furniture is dated and the walls are stained. Additionally, every morning started with construction at 9am. Overall, the pitfalls did not detract from the view nor the service.

This is a beautiful hotel within a stone's throw of the Arc d'Triomphe. The rooms and beautiful and reasonably sized for Paris standards and our bathroom was large and beautiful. The staff was wonderful, spoke English well and helped us out with everything from loaning us a power adapter to sending us to a wonderful restaurant 20 minutes walk away. The hotel is located a fairly long but easily navigated walk from the Louvre. We loved staying here!

Hotel Academie= Hotel in great location

  • California Dreamin'
  • May 14, 2012
Hotel Academie was better than hoped for. The location, 2 blocks from the Seine, 4 blocks from the Louvre Museum, was excellent. Going in the other direction, Metro was 2 blocks away, great cafes and stores for shopping. Great chocolate shop next door, expensive but great quality. Staff all spoke English well, were very helpful and pleasant. The only drawback in 5 nights was the cleaning person did not leave new rolls of toilet paper or new shampoo the last 2 days, we ran out of both. Room was small, but comfortable, and who stays there for very long anyway. Just to sleep, bathe, and change clothes. Bathrooms were fine, had jacuzzi tub and needed it after long days of Louvre, and other explorations.

Fantastic location

We stayed in this hotel over Easter 2012. We found this hotel to be extremely comfortable with very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Our room wasn't very big, but it was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable allowing for good sleep. The shower room was tiny and I could just about fit in the shower! There are bigger rooms, but we were very happy with ours. We didn't hear any other guests apart from when they allowed their doors to slam. Other than that it was very peaceful. The location of this hotel is perfect for getting around. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the Musée d’Orsay and about 15 minutes to walk to the Notre Dame. The little side streets of Saint Germain are really charming with lots of restaurants and cafes. We found the metro station at Rue de Bac ( approx 7 mins walk) to be the easiest to get to anywhere in the city. The receptionist ordered a shuttle bus to take us back to the airport on our last day. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and hope to return again very soon.

We had two rooms, the room for two was very comfortable but the single was very cramped. Elevator was very small, it could only accommodate one passenger and his suitcase. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Friendly Staff, Choice Location

The Melia Colbert Hotel is a great home base while you're in Paris. Located across the river from the Notre Dame Cathedral, it's also very close to the Cluny (Musée national du Moyen Age), Shakespeare & Co., tons of cafés, the only comic book stores I saw in Paris, and public transportation. The staff is pretty friendly, with one smarmy guy in the mix--though, he's actually quite hilarious. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but there are loads of options nearby--as the "smarmy guy" said to someone "why don't you enjoy a coffee in my little town?"
