We were a grandmother, son and granddaughter traveling together and booked a suite with a twin bed /couch in one of the rooms. [...]software has a category of "2 twin beds or one large bed" which meant to me that there was a choice. I was traveling with a nine year old and did not want to sleep with her, but did, as there were no twins. [...]

Even though planes took off almost across the street, it was absolutely quiet in our room. We felt that breakfast was over priced at 30 euros for two, but there was a large variety of pastries, cereal, fruit and truly awful scrambled eggs and mushrooms. The carpet in our room needed a good cleaning, but the bathroom was very clean. It was also convenient to have free shuttle service to the airport.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful in helping us find the bus stop into Nice, but a reminder that most buses stop running at 9PM would have saved us a long, long walk from the port area. I would stay there again, just eat someplace else.

This was the final hotel on a 3 week travel and it was a great place to spend our final night. Dinner at hotel was great - as we were craving a Chesseburger and fries and they delivered!

The ibis Nice Aéroport hotel is at the west end of the Promenade des Anglais, 0.6 miles (1 km) from the airport and 3.1 miles (5 km) from Old Nice. The hotel has 127 air-conditioned rooms, 3 of which are suitable for people with reduced mobility and all of which have free WIFI. It also has 3 meeting rooms for your seminars and a non-reservable paying car park. There is also an Arénas car park 875 yards (800 m) away.

Blah Hotel with a Great Staff

We spent the night here because we had an early flight out of Nice the following morning, and the hotel is right near the airport. In fact it's a quick 1 euro bus ride to Terminal 1.
The hotel is fairly straight forward. They do have some nice amenities like free WiFi, and a decent bar in the lobby (there's a restaurant too, but we didn't eat). The rooms are adequate, but nothing special - a bit institutional as far as lighting goes.
The thing that made this hotel stand out was the very personable staff (all of which spoke at least passable English). They were extremely helpful, and dealt with our constant barrage of questions with a smile.

Staff is always helpful. Rooms are small but they are the same at all Ibis'. Breakfast was well presented and ample. You get what you pay for. We have stayed there many time the night before leaving for the U.S. and have never had anything but the best experience.

Five min. walk to airport, but also free shuttle. Long bus ride to downtown, but only cost 1 euro each. Dispite closeness to airport room was quite. Other hotels not listed on line were cheaper if you want to take the chance of arrival with no room waiting.

We stayed at the hotel for one night prior to early morning flight and was disappointed. The hotel advertised shuttle service which turned out to be an airport shuttle that dropped us off at a stop about 5 minute walk late at night. No morning shuttle until 6:30 AM so we had to walk about ten minutes at 5:30 in the morning. Room was very small, but reasonably clean, but hallway noise was noticeable. I would try another airport hotel when next in Nice.

You need a car to get around. The staff gave me hell because she kept saying that my payment had not gone through and I spent 2h trying to figure it out when it was their fault to begging with, they had been looking at someone elses's info!!But on the paper it doesn't show that so it looks like it's your account.

No conditioner, contact w/the front desk twice. They can't fix the conditioner. The third night, complain again. They givin a small fan.
The mat in the bathroom, smell and hair rolled in the mat.

I opted to stay in the Park Inn Nice because it is close to the airport and I had an early flight. After looking at pictures on their website, I thought the property was perfect. When I arrived at the hotel, I was shocked to see that the rooms look nothing like the pictures. The hotel was clean, but the rooms left a lot to be desired. It reminded me of a Holiday Inn Express. If all you want is a hotel that is close to the airport, it's ok.

The hotel has insufficient staff which shows, but the room is fine and the location is great for the airport. I wouldn't stay there for any other reason.
