The room was small but clean, the location is great with easy access to shopping, tram and the beach. And best of all, the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. They went out of their way to help when I temporarily lost my bag that had ALL of my ids, credit cards and passport. Loved them would stay again in a heartbeat.

It was my first time in Nice and I could not have been happier.
The hotel is your average 3 stars European hotel, just as expected. Rooms are small, but clean, hot shower, cable TV, daily room service.. etc.
Few things that annoyed me: there is no free wi-fi (you have to sign up with 'Orange' at the rate of 10 Euros for 24h.), I did not realized that breakfast is not free ( I had to pay about 12 Euros before I checked out). Don't bother with breakfast, few good coffee shops just a block away. That's about all the negative things that I can remember.
On the other hand, the main reason to stay in this place is location. It is 2 minutes walk from the Nice-Ville central train station. From there you can take 15 minutes and 3.60 Euro trip to Monte Carlo, 6 Euros trip to Cannes. When you arrive no need to pay for a cab, you can take Bus 99 almost straight to the front door for only 4 Euros.
Few minutes walk will take you to Tram Stop. For 1 Euro you can ride from one end of the Nice to another. Ocean front and the beeches are only short 10 minutes walk away, shopping center even less. Most of the stuff in the hotel speaks good English and are very helpful.
Bottom line, I'm very pleased with my trip regardless of how little money it cost me.

We booked into the family room which is on the third floor overlooking one of the main streets in Nice. Room was large with a balcony, bathroom was very clean.
On arrival we were early but the reception could not have been more welcoming, young lady was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Like wise with check-out, could not fault.
This hotel is in the middle of Nice and all areas are very assessable from this location. Food wise, lots of restaurants in the area, supermarket immediately opposite and for breakfast there is a café across the road if you do not wish to eat at the hotel. We would use this hotel again, without question!

Nous n'avons pas reçu un très bon accueil. Le personnel n'a pas toujours été très avenant à notre égard. Niveau qualité/prix, je trouve les tarifs tout de même élevés. Certe, l'hôtel est bien situé, (au centre de la ville de Nice) dans un quartier très calme mais les chambres ne ressemblent que très peu aux photos mises sur leur site internet. En conclusion, je ne pense pas retourner dans cet hôtel pour mon prochain séjour à Nice.

Nicest rooms and most impressive decor that I've ever seen. Staff was extremely nice as well, almost to a fault. This place is so impressive, I felt a bit underdressed walking in, but the staff always made me very comfortable. Wish I had tried the restaurant for dinner, but I can report that the breakfast is excellent. I will stay here anytime I go to Nice, and look for Exedra hotels in other cities I visit.

We stayed there for 4 nights, it has a good location, very close to the tram station - 2 stops and you are at the beach. The train station was close was well, perfect for a trip to Monaco.
Air condition was working well, room small, but nice! All in all a good stay at Normandie, we would come back there for sure.
Hotel price was good for Nice...

Comfortable price.
Convenient location for travelers.
Very short walk (5 minutes) to the train station.
Close to restaurants and grocery stores.
Staffs are very nice, helpful and very informative.
Breakfast was very good and lunch bags provided before we left for our tour was great.
I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice clean room and slightly bigger than usual by European standards. The best thing about the hotel is the staff (particularly Norbert) - This guy made a three star hotel feel more like a four star experience. He is gracious, friendly and very accomodating.
One down side was that air conditioning was not working properly the two days we were there. I am assuming that was just a temporary glitch. If not, I would downgrade my rating to 3 stars.

This is a very convenient hotel in a good location. ( 0508/ss) This is a tall and traditional building, with large windows. The hotel is located on the main avenue Jean Medecin, close to the shops and restaurants, about 15 minutes away from the seafront and the old town.

Very good location. Close to the train station which makes easy to travel around and to center and trams etc.
Poor breakfast- only sweet marmolade with bread.
Double room extremely small, but for 4 people on the last floor much better than expected. Lack of daily light in the room in double.
Polite and helpfull staff in the reception. Not very communicative lady in breakfast room.

Basic, Typically French, 2* hotel close to the train station with all that goes with that sort of area (Sex shops, youngsters on the streets, dirty bars etc.)
However you are just 5 minutes walk from the main pedestrianised shopping are and 15 minutes walk from the sea.
Excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

Die Lage, nähe dem Bahnhof ist zwar ideal, aber ins Zentrum spaziert man schon ca. 15-20min.
Wir empfanden das Hotel dennoch akzeptabel. Können uns nicht beklagen. Preis-Leistung hat gestimmt. Parkiermöglichkeit fürs Auto besteht hinter dem Bahnhof. Von Nice aus haben wir die Chickimicki Stadt, Monte Carlo erleben dürfen und sonst hat uns die Stadt Nice viel mehr gefallen.

This is a budget hotel and as such not in the best area but very close to the main railway station. It is great value but IS a 3 star hotel, don't expect too much. I would stay again.

I just stayed at this hotel!
The location is good and very central and the staff is kind.
But I still have to say that the room and the hotel in general is very, very bad! You can hear anything from you room like what's happening in next room, the elevator etc. etc.. The aircondition was bad as well. And then the housekeeping just took you up in the morning at 9am. EVERY morning - Not good!
I wont stay there again and I cant recommend this hotel.

Hotel Crillon was a comfortable room for a good price. The location was ideal for getting to Old Nice and the Promenade while still being near the train station. While a bit run down in places, it served as a nice base for exploring the city, and air conditioning was a plus.

We stayed for 3 nights. The first night we had to leave the room because of a leak in the sink, as well as the sink did not drain properly. The service attendant was very good about fixing the problem I might add.
On the second day we went into another room. In the bathroom the shower curtain was removed and was laying in the bathroom. We tried to place it back on the wall but the rod was too small, so we kept it in the closet. The rooms were on the dirty side, the floors looked like they were not cleaned.
The hotel also over charged us the full amount including the deposit from hotel club-this I did not notice until I checked out. Im still waiting for to get reimbursed.

Everything is bad including service. I sent them email ask about the item which i forgot to take before i leave. It took 2 weeks and they havent reply so i called them. They said they got email and they will answer me soon. However i wait 2 more weeks, still no reply... I dont know what happening there with the service.
Facilities is bad, room is small bathroom is dirty. The hotel said they have wireless but actually you can only access internet in the lobby.
However the location is good, but recommend should not stay here. Because the price is average compare with other hotels surrounding.

Das Hotel H33 ist genial gelegen, sensationell sogar.
Es ist sehr ringhörig,dünne Türen und Wände.
Die Doppelzimmer mit schmalem DB sind sehr klein.
Das innern des Hauses wirkt frisch und lebendig,frohe Farben.
Für Städte Trips oder änliches Sensationell wen DU nicht hohe ANSPRÜCHE hast.
Ich empfehle es weiter.
