Our hotel was perfectly situated for us on the Promenade de Etats Unis, an easy walk to the old town, the harbor, rue de France, and Castle Hill. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless. It even offered a discount on chaises and umbrellas at the private beach across the street. Coffee and tea supplies were replenished every day. The combination tub and shower was not large,but was sufficient and the bathroom as a whole was clean, functional, and attractive.

We booked and requested a king bed. Our first room was two single beds. When we asked to change they had no rooms available the first night. When our room was changed it still had two single beds but were made up for a double. The hallway to our room on level 4 had a terrible smell that made you sick everytime you walked past.
To use the pool or the beach there was an extra charge and the gym was very average.

部屋は改装済みで広さもあり清潔で快適でした。
バスルームとトイレは古いままでしたが清潔でした。

The room was small but clean, the location is great with easy access to shopping, tram and the beach. And best of all, the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. They went out of their way to help when I temporarily lost my bag that had ALL of my ids, credit cards and passport. Loved them would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was small but appropriate size for 2 adults. I was interested in the hotel because of the beautiful pool deck, but the pool was closed in the pre-season. I think this would be a perfect hotel for those who wanted the beach 24/7, but we traveled pre-season and staying in Nice would have been better for us.

We were there to conference with business partners/enjoy French Riviera. The location is just fantastic (!!!) - right in the centre of all action, right on the Promenade/Beach. Was fully booked online initially but the call to [...]helped us get the rooms. Everything is close. The room was small compared to American standards but perfectly fine (just like their cars) along with perfect-cold air-conditioning. The most famous hotel in Nice-Le Negresco is just two buildings away on the same street and the sea is across the Promenade. Some rooms only face the back of the hotel, e.g. the mountains/city - make sure you know what room you're getting if you want the sea view (we didn't but still got the side rooms with some view of the sea). This is one of the 8-9-10 top places where you want to stay in Nice, if you can afford it; it's really worth the money and I am not rich...

Booked the Romantic Package for my wife's 50th - the hotel arranged a charming room, champagne on arrival and rose petals around the room. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful (the doorman knows all the best that Nice has to offer). Breakfast facilities were a little cramped but all fresh and plenty of it. We will, without a doubt stay here again.

Le prix est un peux elevée si on veux faire plusieurs jours de séjour. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est situer comme place des anglais hors il est dans une petite rue qui se croise avec cette rue. Un peux dificile de le trouver si en roule tous le temps sur la place des anglais!!

The hotel was very quaint with a garden which we did not have time to enjoy. Right near the train station (walking distance) which saved us taxi fare. We only stayed two nights prior to a cruise. Rooms were clean and met our needs. Staff was helpful. Free internet & computer in a quaint parlor area was very useful. We would stay there again on our next visit to Nice.

I thought I booked a hotel, but it's a hostel, with bunk-beds, and multiple people per room... But being open-minded and under 30, it was a lot of fun. It's got a cool crowd, relatively clean, in a really nice area of nice, close to place massena.

Nice clean room and slightly bigger than usual by European standards. The best thing about the hotel is the staff (particularly Norbert) - This guy made a three star hotel feel more like a four star experience. He is gracious, friendly and very accomodating.
One down side was that air conditioning was not working properly the two days we were there. I am assuming that was just a temporary glitch. If not, I would downgrade my rating to 3 stars.

There was no airconditioning in any room just a fan! We changed rooms 3 times and in every room it was the same! The employees were helpfull but couldn't offer any solution! We asked to check out earlier at first this was possible the next day it wasn't...we had no sleep for 2 nights so we checked out anyway!

Mukava vaatimaton perustarpeet kattava hotelli kävelymatkan päässä kaikista palveluista. Liikenteen melu saattaa häiritä ,jos asunto kadun puolella. Reppumatkaajien suosiossa, mutta ei mitään melua öisin. Baarin puute pettymys. Tilava huoneisto.

Pleasant staff, clean and modern furnishing. WiFi is pay for minutes used. This is very limiting and potentially expensive. I think most rooms are exposed to the traffic noise and nearby bowling / theater. Local youths can be noisy till late hours but closed windows insulate the outside noise. Air conditioning was turned off in the spring season however. The lower cost, pay in advance breakfast was a fair but inconsistent value. There was more variety such as fruits,granola, hard boiled eggs on days when more guest were check-in.

Description
The hotel Villa Rivoli is a former unique Belle Epoque (1890) private house, with a fantastic location in the historical town center of Nice, only 100m away from the beaches. Spacious salon with fireplace, a small garden, parking on request, free Wifi, receptionnist-concierge service. Every room is decorated in an individual way with a "french touch", some of the rooms with balconies. Flat TV, shower, WC, hairdryer, free wifi.

le matin,plus d'électricité dans la chambre,j'ai eu de l'electricité 1Heure plus tard.Dommage pour moi qui devait être sur la ligne de départ du marathon 1H00 après.
La réceptioniste a voulu me faire payer le petit déjeuner inclus dans votre offre.
La personne en charge des petits déjeuners sauve l'honneur de cet hotel,elle était super disponible et d'une grande gentillesse.

I just stayed at this hotel!
The location is good and very central and the staff is kind.
But I still have to say that the room and the hotel in general is very, very bad! You can hear anything from you room like what's happening in next room, the elevator etc. etc.. The aircondition was bad as well. And then the housekeeping just took you up in the morning at 9am. EVERY morning - Not good!
I wont stay there again and I cant recommend this hotel.

Hotel Crillon was a comfortable room for a good price. The location was ideal for getting to Old Nice and the Promenade while still being near the train station. While a bit run down in places, it served as a nice base for exploring the city, and air conditioning was a plus.

Les lits étaient très bons, surtout les couverts. Bien chaud et lourd. Très confortable.
