We Took a train from Toulouse to Lourdes. The hotel was across the street from the Gare Lourdes, (train station). Surprisingly, you cannot hear any trains passing. The hotel sits atop a hill which overlooks most of Lourdes. Although the Basilica is not in view, you still have the most gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, The Fort & another church off to the distance. The staff is exceptional, the rooms were small (300 sqft.). But, you're in a Village. That size was pretty darn good compared to others. Bathrooms were nice. The walk to the Basilica was about 10 minutes. I'm definitely staying here, again!

Hotel was very dated and in need of renovation. Hotel perception on internet not very accurate. Staff was very friendly. Overpriced compared to nearby hotels.

The parking facilities were adequate. The hotel is within walking distance of all sites. The buffet breakfast was very good. The rooms are not 4 star callibre. We stayed at a 3 star in Spain which was much larger and had more amenities. The end of the beds left only enough room to squeeze by between the bed and wall. The bathtub had no shower curtain and the detachable shower was very low (I'm only 5'3). The TV's sound is controlled at a barely audible range. There is no way to raise the volume beyond this range. All in all the value for the money is not there.

The hotel was very good. Clean and nice and a beautiful mountain and river view. Very nice. The only thing that I would like better if they would keep dinner open past 10pm. One day we arrived rather late around 10pm for dinner and the kitchen was closed, not only in this hotel but all the sorrounding restaurants. I guess it's a French thing :) Apart from that, the hotel was very nice.

Unfortunately this hotel wasn't good choice. Rooms with almost no noise isolation, pleasant staff but not always giving correct information, no parking and no breakfast included although the offer haven't mentioned it. Definitely NOT good price for value.

- poor air circulation. No curtain nettings, so if you open the window, you are exposed to being seen by those in higher floors
- too much light at night coming from outside so you cannot sleep comfortably

Visited the sanctuaries every day which was our goal in the trip.
Wished there was a fridge even the small one in the room.
This was our first visit and we did enjoy the time we were there.
Unfortunately we were not able complete our paid tour because of change in our return
trip to Paris.

Hotel located in downtown Lourdes. This hotel is placed in Lourdes city centre, very close to the sanctuaries that have made this city well known worldwide. Many of the hotel rooms have gorgeous views to the Gave de Pau River and the Pyrenees. Some of them have private balcony. All of them are tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary to make guests feel comfortable. Facilities include direct dial phone, Satelite TV, wardrobe and cupboard, among others. The bus stop and the train station are at a mere kilometre, while the airport is at 10 kilometres. It is a quiet hotel, ideal to rest and meet a region of great beauty. Hotel is closed from November till April.
