Description
Kuopio is famous for the tower of Puijo, for its market place, and for the glorious summer cruises you can make on Lake Kallavesi. Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi is an excellent choice for business and leisure travellers alike, a versatile and cosy hospitality provider in the centre of town, next to a beautiful park. Had to change 2 rooms to get one

Had to change 2 rooms to get one aprx.ok. However the traditional room was in bad shape. Bathroom: missing shower door!!!!. No everyday cleaning, one light bulb burned, no sleepers or bathrobe. Internet wifi card had to be renewed every day. No heating option at this time of the year(Aug. 30). Price high compared to what they offer. Had better room in Helsinki at Cumulus Hakaniemi (4 star hotel, including breakfats at 62 euro/night). In Kuopio paid 100 euro /night. Breakfast very good, restaurant service very good.Location very good.

Far from the centre, but nice

Far from the centre, but nice hotel, pretty big rooms and clean. The service and breakfast were good, sauna also, but the pool was closed and there was no notification about it (only on the pool-room door) and we couldn't manage to open the tv, there was some kind of a bug with the digital system. I guess we could have had help from the info-desk but we didn't need it that much so we didn't ask.
