Description
Daku Resort is vintage Fiji: comfortable accommodation in traditional bures and villas with stunning views over the bay, a reasonable price, and a staff whose friendliness and warmth give you all the joy of a vintage Fiji holiday. An affordable, friendly resort with accommodation ranging from FJD180 to FJD350 in a coconut plantation by the sea. The hotel provides small, low-key, and casual. You can have your own traditional style ocean view bure with its own deck, set in tropical gardens, and it wont cost you the earth. The owners are former guests who visited over 70 countries before finding paradise here in Savusavu. Over the last three years the resort has been refurbished and refitted, and there are a couple of new bures but Daku has lost none of its intimacy. You'll still find ceiling fans, ocean breezes and lazy breakfasts, and youll still be able to turn up to dinner in a sulu. Tradition is important at Daku but understand you need to keep in touch with the world, so wifi is available. At Daku, the staff is small, the smiles are large and guests are welcomed like old friends of the family. The Savusavu Town is an old trading port, with access to banks, ATM's, post office and many trading shops that have all your needs from a fish hook to bedding. On the waterfront are cafe's, Yacht Clubs and many inexpensive restaurants to choose from. Hotel offers a conference room for 60 guests. MP1208 4 storey hotel with one swimming pool and one baby pool. Savusavu Hot Springs Hotel is situated in the heart of tiny Savusavu town, located on the northern Island of Vanua Levu, approximately 10 minutes drive from the airport. Savusavu is considered the gateway to Fiji's Northern Islands. The ideal base to start a Northern Fiji Islands adventure.
