Best in Pacific Harbor

Extremely friendly staff and well run "resort". The new Villa's are really nice even though TV and such were not connected yet....ocean/beach was, what more do you need. I would like to personally thank the staff for taking care of me when I had a bout of ill health. They treated me like family, thank you. If you are a diver be sure to book "shark dives" with Aqua Trek, they also treat you right and pick you up at Uprising.

we (family of 5 - older children) stayed at uprising for 6 nights in 2 of the new beach front bures. the bures were spotless, bathrooms fantastic, and the outside shower was great fun. the staff were wonderful, very helpful with anything asked of them, they helped us to organise a few of the day outings that we did. the location is beautiful, not white beaches if that's what you're expecting, but beautiful nonetheless. the restaurant was great, most mains between 10 and 20FJD, a mixture of Fijian food and fish and chips, burgers etc. breakfast was basic, but could always find something to fill you up. overall we thought it was great value for money and would definitely stay there again.
