Just returned from Sonaisali Island Resort and I must say was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. We stayed in the beachfront spa bure which was very nice. We will be returning without a doubt

Spacious, clean, attractive, comfortable room. Free shuttle around the island. Loved the music and dance shows --also free. Nice pool and beautiful grounds. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Gorgeous sunsets and beach views.

From the heavenly beds to the warm and welcoming staff, every detail of our vacation was taken into consideration. Every morning when my boyfriend and I woke up, we had a buffet breakfast of fresh local fruit and yummy baked goods. Every hotel worker we walked passed said good morning and wished us a great day. We spent most of our time by the pool or on our patio and both had gorgeous ocean views. The pool is beautiful and we had an amazing time lounging by and playing in the pool. My boyfriend and I also had a couples massage through the heavenly spa at the Westin. The massage was amazing and very relaxing. We were lead to a private outdoor oasis surrounded by ponds with lilly pads and beautiful classical music playing. The spa was wonderful. We spent 5 amazing nights at the Westin, but I wish we had 5 more.
Every night the dinners were incredible, 5 star culinary experiences. I highly recommend Moo Moo cafe for dinner or lunch (p.s. if you go for lunch, try the Tempura Fish and Chips.. I'd go back to Fiji right NOW for another helping of that). The food was amazing.

Great Hotel

Stopped here for 2 days returning to the US from NZ. Shuttle meet us at the airport and took us to the hotel - approx 10-15 minutes away.
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and the food was fantastic - on par with 4-5 star restaurants. I was not expecting that! This is a great hotel if you're on your way some to or coming back from somewhere in the Pacific. Everyone I spoke with had been traveling and was using the hotel as a layover to another location.
I enjoyed spending my two days sitting on the beach and reading my book. My friend spent his time in the hammock napping and reading. A great place to relax and just enjoy the scenery.
Hotel does have an activities desk and will arrange tours to other islands.
I am planning on coming back to Fiji (hopefully sooner rather than later) and will definitely stay here again.

Smugglers was excellent value for the price, we stayed in the hotel part, not the backpackers. Our room was right above the bar so even though we had a great view through the day, we had to put up with the noise at night. There isnt much in the immediate area so you need to taxi into town or to Denarau Marina, but costs next to nothing anyhow. Don't really recommend the restaurant for meals, though their pizza was good.

Club Fiji Resort is built along Traditional lines, has 30 Beach Bures and 8 Beach-Front Villas.Situated in a private bay 8 kms from Nadi Airport and 5kms from the town centre . We really enjoyed our time at Club Fiji. The resort is so peaceful and beautiful and the staff is super friendly. Watching the high and low tide come and go and the sunsets and sunrises was magical! The beachfront bure is a must!

If you're looking for a place to stay for a few days that is relaxed, clean and secluded, yet a five minute cab ride to town, this is a really great choice. It's down the end of a long dirt road right on the water, the grounds and buildings are well kept and lovely, very traditional Fijian in theme. There are two decent restaurants right on the premises (pizza at jb's with a great water view!), and it's extremely quiet. I noticed a few complaints that it was a bit far from town, but for us it seemed so close, but you still felt you were in a very secluded location, which is what we wanted. The beach scenery was really beautiful, nice to look at although if you're looking for crystal clear water and great swimming, this is not the place. The water is very shallow and at certain points of the day you have to walk several yards out to get to the water. But you can still cool off. There is a pool, so you have that option. We flew in two days before our main hotel was ready, so we picked this place for a stop over, and we were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it really was for the price.

Fantastic Resort made all the better by the absolutely wonderful staff...we will definately book this hotel again. Great for children of all ages and lots of options for dining...even at full capacity you can still find a spot around the resort for a bit of peace and relaxation.
