We had a beach front room for four nights and it was fantastic. The view and setting was really good, a smaller resort with really great staff. It's not the greatest water right in front of the resort but that is balanced by the setting, price and the fact that it is on the main island.

The resort is located along the picture-esque coral coast and provides beachfront access, but it is essentially 2hrs from either
Suva or Nadi which makes it relatively remote. But if you want to simply relax, unwind and enjoy some snorkeling or kayaking, then this is for you.

Bedarra is located right on the ocean, very quiet & relaxing, great for beach walks along the very protected lagoon with the surrounding reef.
Accommodation is clean and spacious with nice, freshly renovated ensuite - staff excellent too. I arrived at around 10.00pm the restaurant was closed but after signing in I was surprised with a cold platter of cheese, cherry tomatoes and fresh bread rolls to keep me going until breakfast.
Breakfast on the front balcony overlooking the ocean through swaying palms..... Only down side this location is around 2.5 hrs from Port Denarau where all the restaurants and shops are and where u have to go for any boat/yacht trips to islands.

Absolutely beautiful resort. The people were always so welcoming and happy. We would do the meal package next time though, as the food and drinks were very expensive. A bit disappointed that you had to pay to have a spa, though the sea was just as warm and lovely. Loved lounging around the pool, swimming and just completely relaxing. It was good to venture out of the resort and see a real life village and school. Vinaka to the staff at the Warwick, I love Fiji xx

Was a nice resort - but is a long way from the airport - they say 90 mins - but we never did it in less than 2 hours. The booked transportation from the airport did not turn up, and the return trip was arrived at hotel 30 mins late. The seafood restaurant and Teppanyaki restaurant were exceptional; the Italian restaurant was good; the buffet was overpriced and disappointing; the a la carte Japanese was dreadful. The Reception staff were unhelpful and surly. Some of the waiting staff were good. The room was great and very clean. The pools great. Excellent entertainment.

We spent a week at the Pearl South Pacific. Beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Nice sandy beach. Great food in the restaurant and cafe. Live music and 1/2 price happy hour drinks. Within walking distance of the village for groceries, shopping and more restaurants. Enjoyed golfing, kayaking and white water rafting.. Dive shop is across the street (no longer on the Pearl's premises) Only downside was the computer malfunctions.

If you are a backpacker -- 10/10
If you like comfort and class -- 2/10 -- look for a "resort".
You are by the sea, but you are not on a nice beach.
The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful - 11/10.
Whoever you are, you will need a car. It's miles from anywhere.
