We were visiting people in town. I must say that the staff was very good. Two things that bothered me. Not enough drawers to put my clothes away.. I was in Santiago and could not even call local... the line said restricted.. I was really annoyed by that.. it made my stay a little difficult.... this place could not compare to my stay at B. Live in Puerta Plata...

Good service but street noise a problem

This hotel is located in the downtown area and close to casinos and resturants. Hotel's resturant is first class. Best to request rooms not on the street side due to loud street noise. Other than that was a good experience.

Matum Hotel and Casino is a three star property. We value your business- time and comfort and our objective is to fulfill all your needs when you are away from home.
We offer 29 rooms- 6 suites- 9 junior suites and 1 presidential suite. All equipped with air conditioner- internet access- refrigerator- phone- cable color TV- private bathroom with hair dryer. All suites have balcony with a great view of the historical Monument of the city.
For your recreation and entertainment- Matum Hotel and Casino has a swimming pool- 3 on-site restaurants- a big casino- disco and bars with thematic dinner and live music.

The hotel was a great experience. The rooms were clean the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The staff was friendly and Hodelpa Gran Almirante is hands down the best hotel in Santiago. If traveling again to this location I will definitely stay here.
