Great Breakfast!

The hotel was a bit farther from the city center than I thought it would be (but that's my fault)! I was allowed to check in early, which was nice, and the staff was extremely friendly. I didn't have maid service the second day, which I thought was odd. It's a ten or fifteen minute walk to the train station and city center, and perhaps another 10 to the Viking Ship Museum. I didn't have a car, but it seems there was plentiful parking by European standards at the tourist destinations, so I think this hotel would be ideal for those who come by car. Bring ear-plugs in case you are on the road/parking lot side of the hotel.

Comwell Roskilde is situated by Roskilde Fjord with beautiful views overlooking the water and a short distance to attractions such as the Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde Cathedral. The hotel offers the perfect setting for meetings conferences par ties or a weekend trip. The proximity of the forest and beach allows you to enjoy many outdoor activities. You will also find a wide variety of facilities inside the hotel. Enjoy the sunset over Roskilde Fjord on our terrace or reserve our games room for cosy evenings with games and much more. The food at Comwell Roskilde is a chapter in itself. Our chef Rasmus Rasmussen won the title of The Worlds Best Conference Chef in 2010. All year round we hold a series of open events in our restaurant such as game seafood and gourmet evenings. The spacious hotel has 104rooms. In summer 2012 Comwell Roskilde will have expanded by a further 55 new double rooms making a total capacity of 159 rooms.
