What a terrible experience

While the reservation was for the Pup Delux hotel we were sent to an adjunct property which pretends to be a first class hotel. it is the first class sister of the luxe hotel next door.
The hotel lacks basics. It does not provide an Airconditionin the rooms. The room had an old small screen TV (which surely did not work and was never replaced in spite of ou r complaints).
The hotel is well over priced.. It charges prices i pay for 5 star hotels in Paris. Vive la petite difference!,,
It is old and badly maintained. Most guest services are dealt with at the luxe side of the hotel so if one needs for example to ask the concierge for anything one needs to walk a few minutes through empty and dark corridors to get helped. Thebrooms are good size but smell bad and have poor amenities.
A good example to how ridiculous the attitude and the prices are is the time when I asked the guest services for an empty plate and a knife and the lady who brought this to my room wanted me to sign a 5 euros charge. Unbelievable.
The food is very mediocre in all of the hotel restaurants.
To sum it up -- a boring, badly maintained, over priced property who I highly recommend to avoid!!

The pool is built into a rock overlooking the city and is kept at a constant temperature of 30°C all year round. The hotel also offers various spa treatments, a fitness centre and a sauna. In the centre of Karlovy Vary, the Thermal Spa Hotel is conveniently placed for exploring this beautiful spa city and enjoying all the relaxing spa treatments that the city is famous for.

The Hotel was pricey and very old. It was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful, but for the money I thought it was overpriced. It did offer a breakfest in the mornings that was good, and the hotel was well located in the town but not what I had hoped for based on the price.

A recently renovated hotel ideal for those wishing to have the famous Karlovy Vary Spa treatments or for those just wishing to be in tranquil surroundings. HO 10.08 A large, grand, old style building, the hotel is easily identifiable. Painted light orange and white, the hotel is very well maintained. Situated on the bank of the Tepla River in a quiet part of Karlovy Vary, the hotel is a stones throw from the centre and is surrounded by an English style park. There is also a Japanese style meditation garden nearby and the surroundings are very pleasant and relaxing.

Bar war schon um 22Uhr geschlossen. Leider. das Essen war nicht besonders, Frühstück war in Ordnung. Ein sehr schöner Park und Lage im Grünen, in 10Minuten im Zentrum zu Fuß.

This hotel is an excellent choice for a group of people travelling together. It offers all the amenities required and is of a good standard.
PH 04/01 The hotel is a tall 6-storey white building on top of a base holding the restaurant and reception area. Built in an L shape, it is quite modern and clean looking. Situated in the hills overlooking Karlovy Vary, the hotel offers great views along the valley of the river Tepla and is surrounded by trees and green slopes. The centre is not too far away and is easily accessible.
