This hotel is in a superb location, within sight of the old city walls, and close to the bus terminus. This means you can get a bus to within 100m of the hotel from the airport, and do not have to pay for a taxi, which costs around 230 Kunas, or approximately £30. The hotel is lovely, the service great. Staff speak very good english, and are keen to be of assistance. I hired a car at short notice, and got a good rate on a lovely little VW Polo.

Great location with helpful staff. Rooms have beautiful view of Adriatic with private beachand balcony. Great resturaunt and nice sized smoke free rooms. Easy walking distance(20 minutes)to downtown through safe area. Staff spoke English.

Beautiful Bellevue Dubrovnik Hotel

This was the first leg of a two week trip in Croatia/Spain. We stayed two nights in Dubrovnik and loved the recently renovated Bellevue Dubrovnik Hotel. The hotel is not too large and as such you get a more intimate feeling. There is a small, private beach in a bay, adjacent to a public beach, and a cafe/bar that services this area. We only had breakfast at the hotel, which was abundant and delicious. The walk into Old Town is about 20 minutes - we only did it once as we arrived hot and sweaty before our day began (high summer temperatures while we were there), but we were able to twice find parking close to the center - it gets a bit congested, but not impossible. The staff were friendly and helpful - we had some trouble with the in-room wireless internet access ... one day it worked, and the other it didn't, but access was available in the lobby. The hotel is built on a cliff - the lobby on the top floor with access to street level, and the hotel floors (5?) built down to the beach. This sometimes made room access a bit akward - we had to go through the restaurant to easily get to our room, or it was a round about effort otherwise. But, it didn't matter. Overall, it was one of our favorite hotels during our two weeks abroad.

Had one night in Dubronvik before a flight, wish we had a week. Stayed on a Tuesday night in early July. By far the nicest place we stayed, maybe ever. Super luxury hotel almost James Bond style. Free parking, free WiFi. Drinks and food are SUPER pricey (except in casino). Oceanfront area is amazing, views are spectacular. Couldn't believe we only paid $150 (750 Kuna). Will be staying again. Might have a honeymoon there...

The hotel has a big swimming pool close to the beach, nice room and good breakfast with vast selection.
The only downside to this hotel is the location, it isn't close to much except a few restaurants. In order to go to the city centre, one must take a bus.
Very friendly, helpful staff on the information desk who gave useful advice about places to visit.

Lo peor del hotel es su localización; se encuentra tan solo a 15 minutos del centro en coche (si no hay mucho tráfico) pero no es conveniente ir andando, porque hay que ir por la carretera. Internet solo disponible en recepción. La habitación era amplia, pero no estaba muy limpia. El desayuno es más que correcto, eso sí, y el restaurante aceptable.

I feel it is little bit over priced for the sea view room we booked, although I understand that in general Dubrovinik is more expensive than other cities in Croatia. It is very nice location and few min walking distance to beach. It would be good for family with kids.

Hotel Zagreb with its location as well as its look attracts numerous tourists. Well kept environment and a garden carefully taken care of, give to this hotel a special charm. It consists of three floors with 23 comfortable rooms with a pleasant interior decoration, renewed in 2005. Each room has a TV SAT and a bathroom with a shower and a hair-dryer. The Hotel is completely air-conditioned and modernly equipped. The Hotel restaurant and the bar are situated at the ground-floor, as well as the reception desk.
The hotel offers free breakfast to its guests.

I have stayed at 5 major hotels in Dubrovnik and this one is my favorite! It was really nice being able to sit out in the sun and swim from the sea wall without having to worry about a rocky beach and wearing water socks. It was also an easy walk into Old Town.
The only reason I didn't give the amenities a perfect score is the fitness center was very small and lacking. You could get by with what they had but the equipment needed a little maintenance. I let them know at the front desk and he said they would get right on it.
Highly recommend!!

Good resort, away from city

As a disclaimer, we did not book this as an "all-inclusive" package. We needed a nice hotel for our final few days in Croatia and settled on the Radisson from our online search.
The resort itself was nice enough. For those who came to see the stunningly beautiful Dubrovnik, you should be aware that the hotel is FAR from the old city, something like 20 km. As soon as we got into town, many locals questioned our decision on staying somewhere so far with so many 4- and 5-star options close by. The Radisson provides a shuttle periodically throughout the day but you have to pay each time. When my wife and I wanted to stay out later than the final midnight shuttle, we had to take a taxi back for an exorbitant amount. Finally, in arranging a ride back to the airport, it cost us another arm and a leg.
As I said the resort is beautiful and there are plenty of dining, activity and spa options. The private beach is nice, private but rocky (par for the course in the Adriatic and Mediterranean). The service was hit or miss and the employees seemed somewhat bitter and underpaid (but this was my impression all throughout Croatia).

nice and clean hotel, in a quiet area. easy access to the centre by bus. the pool was closed when we stayed here, but we could use the pool at the neighbour-hotel. Not far from the beach either.
I would recommend this hotel to others going to Dubrovnic.

Fantástico hotel, excelente desayuno y personal agradable. La única pega es que no está cerca del centro, aunque un autobús, que para justo enfrente, te lleva fácilmente.

This is a nice hotel but there were a lot of things that my husband and I didn't like about this hotel. The maid service was awful. They never cleaned up our dishes, never gave us toilet paper, basically they made the bed and then left. The location is a little ways out there but there one bus to get into the old city of Dubrovnik. We wouldn't recommend to stay at this hotel

This is definately a 3 star hotel. However, the view is pure 5 star. Located right on Lapad Beach, the Hotel is right on a stopping point for the number 4 bus, which takes you right into the old City (only 10 minutes away ). Breakfast was OK - variety of foods good but coffee/juice/ yoghurt needs improvement. Staff were all helpful. I would recommend the Hotel Vis. Please remember that it is a 3 star hotel with a killer view and not the other way around

Description
The hotel Perla in Dubrovnik is situated at one of the most beautiful city quaters of Dubrovnik, the bay of Lapad, directly at the seaside. It lies at the marvelous city promenade, which leads to the great gravel beach. Only 100 meters away from the hotel, there are parking spaces, the bank, a post office, a pharmacy, a shopping center, tennis courts, a bus stop and a taxi rank. The hotel has 20 comfortable rooms with air condition, excellently equipped size 15-20m2 with balconies, WC (shower or bath tub), TV, minibar, internet.
The hotel also provides free breakfast to its guests.

Good location for the beach

We stayed at Perla Hotel for one night, while in Dubrovnik (it was not our first time there, so we have a term of comparison and we know ourselves around town).
Perla is a nice 3* hotel, well-located especially if you're going to Dubrovnik for the beach. It is located in a touristy area of Lapad, which is probably the best beach in town (if you don't count the beaches in the outskirts of Dubrovnik that you'd have to drive to). Rooms are fairly large and confortable. Breakfast is nice - included in the hotel fare, it is a buffet (far from extraordinary) and you can order omelettes. Last, but not least, staff was extremely helpful and friendly!
On the flipside, we asked for a queen-size bed and we god two single-beds lumped together (and this was not the first time while in Croatia). Wi-fi was not working (I needed to go down to the reception and get a wired connection at the counter).
If going to the Old Town is what you're in Dubrovnik for, the location is fair. It is not very close to the Old Town itself (and few hotels are!), but you can take a bus (bus stop is 5-minute walk) and catch a bus for 10kn (€1.25) that will drop you in front of the Old Town. Buses run every 15 minutes or so.
You should also be advised that the hotel does NOT have car parking. There is a supermarket close enough (called Tommy) where you can park you car for free, but you'll be subject to parking space availability.

an excellent hotel. very big rooms, well equipped and decorated. breakfast is excellent, hotel restaurant is superb. the only shortcoming is the distance from the old town, although there is a bus near by. i will stay there again for sure.
