Great place to relax after adventure tours each day

This hotel is beautiful and all the staff are very friendly. Zip lines, white water rafting, sunset/snorkel sails, rainforest tours, and mangrove boat rides -- they arrange it all for you with top notch tour companies. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous as is the view of the water and many exotic animals.

Resort is excellent with great views and good service. Couple of issues were no wifi in the room (although there is wifi on the property) and the wet bar would close at 6pm which did not make sense to us. Other than that the resort was fantastic, well maintained with good service.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and staff

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Costa Rica, with 3 days in Manuel Antonio and another 3 in Monteverde. The Mariposa in Manuel Antonio was exceptional. The staff was the nicest we encountered of the three hotels we stayed at on our trip. The pool and view were both stunning, and it is an easy shuttle ride (and long walk! -- we did it) down to the beach/park. The hotel staff recommended numerous activities to do while we were in the area, and helped arrange them when we asked. The rooms themselves were very nice. The beds were a little firm, but very clean, and the ocean view was incredible. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, juice, an omelet station and traditional fare and was included with the stay. We ate a couple other meals at the hotel restaurant and the fish was exceptionally fresh and moderately priced ($15-20 USD/plate). The hotel wasn't an eco-lodge, nor was it one of the 5-star resorts, but we couldn't recommend it more. It was our favorite stay on the trip.

Newly built and now welcoming travelers from all over the world, Inn on the Park has opened its doors to those who prefer a quaint and friendly setting with a touch of indulgence.
There are 6 stylish units, each offering the most sought after amenities!
The Master Suites are fully equipped with a separate Master Bedroom, an adjoining large bathroom, and a "ready to create a giant feast" kitchen. In addition, two Cable TVs, hot water, hair dryers, safety boxes, and most essentially, two Air Conditioning units, ensure you have everything you need! The Junior Suites (do not be fooled by the name!) offer most of the above excluding the kitchen, in a spacious and similar fashion. All the Suites can comfortably accommodate 4 people (even 6 in the Master Suite can be arranged, the hotel welcomes families!). In addition, adjoining room doors allow friends and family the convenience of a large apartment (1 full floor with both a master suite and a junior suite).
Just in the back of the Inn, there is a swimming pool and a barbecue area for those who wish to lounge around the hotel. Reception also has information on all tours and activities available in the area, and can arrange these for you! A Continental Breakfast is included and served every morning between 7:30 and 10 a.m.
The hotel also provides reception in amenity.

Great beach location

Most positive thing about the hotel was the location since it is very close to the beach and restaurants, as well as just about a block from the National Park. If you reserve a junior suite, realize that it is likely on the bottom level, rather than the 2nd or 3rd floor, therefore you have no outdoor space to sit outside (other levels have balconies). There is a pool, but very small, with limited space for seating. No lounge chairs, just regular chairs for sitting by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions.

A wonderful expeirence at Gaia!!

I'm still not all that clear on the proper pronunciation of Gaia Hotel and reserve-- that aside it was truly an unmatched hotel experience.
The service is not five stars-- it's six! The staff are friendly, helpful, and most importantly they adapt comfortably to their guests. You never feel like they are giving you five star service because they are paid to do so-- they do it because they are well versed in their personal skills and profession.
The hotel itself is beautiful-- the views are amazing! The pool(s) are even more amazing! The location is also great, a bit off of the beaten path (although we were there doing the low season).
All that said, the bathroom was a little on the small/ awkward size for a five star hotel. There were details that were missed, and given the extreme tropical climate things like paint, calking, hardware, et cetera, needed some attention.
We will be back!

A complete luxury hotel

Gaia hotel provided an amazing week long vacation experience. Their concierge team booked and arranged transportation for a wide range of high quality tours - all at our request. They booked a Zipline tour, Surfing lessons, and even a local market tour for us.
The reserve is a fantastic asset to the hotel, as it attracts a wide range of wild life. At the hotel we were able to see iguanas and Capuchin monkeys, right outside our room!
Their free breakfast was amazing - I highly recommend the Italian Egg White fritatas. Be aware how ever that since they actually prepare the food for you, a quick breakfast is not usually an option.
Near the end of our trip, we told the concierge we were looking for whole vanilla beans. They told us they weren't sure where to get them, and we thought that would be the end of it - but that same evening, they called our room to tell us that not only had they tracked the beans down, but they would send a car out to purchase them for us and bring them back to the hotel!
Gaia is definitely a more expensive hotel, but the luxurious setting, the free transportation, the attention to detail, and the willingness of every member of the staff to go the extra mile, really make it a fantastic vacation choice!

Si Como No uses well water for gardening and maintenance, Bio-digesters for sewage, a gray water plant for laundry, biodegradable products for housekeeping, and city water for guest and employee usage. A Bocashi compost program utilizes waste from food preparation, and the hotel donates all glass, plastic and aluminum products to a local women's auxiliary in Quepos (ASOMUFAQ) each month.

Perfect place to stay.

My family and I stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. This is a wonderful resort and the grounds and setting are stunning. Our balcony overlooked the jungle and ocean. The rooms showed some age (not the beds) but were comfortable and clean. There are 2 pools. The kids pool was delightful and adjacent to the lesser expensive restaurant and the adult pool was large and peaceful close to the higher end restaurant. The staff were gracious and professional and we found the people at reception very patient and helpful. Their tour recommendations were all fantastic.
Excellent food, amazing location and would definitely recommend Si Como No to anyone especially a family.

We had a wonderful stay and the staff is excellent. We found the food to be better at the hotel than the surrounding area, competitive prices and much better quality. No t.v in the room, but a movie is offered in the cinema every night. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio. We drove from airport to Arenal to Manuel Antonio to airport. A GPS IS A MUST HAVE!!!!

Best hotel ever- beautiful- and HUGE rooms- you may think you are booking a 1 BR but you are not- it is a luxury 3 BR apartment with balconies galore. a great staff, pool area, and restaurant to boot. designed beautifully- i want to decorate my home like this hotel. i never wanted to leave it was so nice.

At the Pacifico Lunada Hotel there are 7 double rooms with a queen bed each, 4 triple rooms with a queen and a single bed each and a cuadruple room with 2 queen beds, specially designed for physically disabled people (handles and ramp to the restaurant). Each room has a private bathroom, A/C, cable TV, safe box, large windows, and a large corridor which makes a perfect spot for reading or surfing the net. Wireless Internet is available all over the property. There are lush gardens in front of the rooms, and a large pool between the room area and the restaurant which is on a roofed terrace. there is an international menu for lunch and dinner. Laundry service is available. Our concierge will help you plan your adventure tours as well as your spa treatments (massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, etc)
