Maison 2 chbres, 2 sdb et cuisine équipée. Située à 20mn en voiture du centre ville (Avarua), en bord de mer et bord de route. Pas trés sécurisée car pas de clôture ni de portail. Jardin non entretenu dommage. Habitable mais sans plus.

Grandes déceptions en arrivant : oubli de nous accueillir à l'aéroport, chambre non prête, et "lagoon view" inexistante : un mur à droite, du linge qui séche à gauche, et des plantes vertes en face... Positif : grande chambre, douche extérieure, la proximité de la plage et l'attention de Ramon.

Good time here, lovely setting and great staff. Not a lot happening at the hotel itself but, as senior citizens, we were not bothered about that. Restaurant food only average though. We would certainly go back there again however.

Südsee-Träume werden war. Schöner, gepflegter Strand, viele Sportmöglichkeiten vorhanden, Lagune nicht tief, Resort gut gelegen, Abhol- und Bringservice Airport garantiert. Verbindung zu Avarua mit Bus gut sichergestellt.
Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, sehr gutes und abwechslungsreiches Essen im Resort-eigenen Restaurant. Ruhige und geräumiges Gardenhaus, sehr sauber, gepflegte Hotel-Anlage.
Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

The resort offers onsite poolside restaurant & bar, wifi Internet access (surcharge), a beach bar, a beach deck zone to witness amazing sunsets. Convenience stores located across the road and the public bus stops directly outside the hotel. Reception hires out rental bikes and cars and can book any tour on Rarotonga and the outer islands. All rooms are fully self-catering enabling guests to cook their own meals. Good value for your money. Facilities are quite basic but its got everything you need..aircon, pool, bar & restaurant and the use of snorkelling gear and kayak. The beach is quite rocky but still good location for just lazing around the sun.
Staff service is First Class! Staff will try their best to accommodate your needs.
The best cocktail I've ever had. Try the Black Pearl if you ever make it there.

The quint essential South Seas hideaway. A quiet, secluded property located on the western beaches of Rarotonga away from the main road traffic. The lagoon directly in front is home to all sorts of marine life and offers excellent snorkel-ling. From August to November you can watch whales from your own private verandah frolicking with their new-born calves within a stones throw of the reef. The stretch of pure white-sand beach lined with mature coconut palms offers plenty of opportunities for an idyllic afternoon snooze under the palms in a tree-strung hammock. Read a book or simply watch the waves crashing over the reef. In the late afternoon, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch an amazing tropical sunset disappear over the horizon. Sun-haven is a small family-run boutique property offering just eight beachfront rooms and one garden room. These range from studio layout to one-bedroom bungalows and suites, some with A/C option available. They cater mostly for couples, and offer a quiet secluded atmosphere, total relaxation and privacy. The suites and bungalows can sleep up to four adults. The suites are the most spacious and more suitable for four persons. Property features include free off street parking, on-site licensed cafe, large freshwater swimming pool, poolside BBQ, hammocks, sun loungers, floating pool loungers, tour desk, guest library, on-site vehicle rentals, laundry service, hair dryer available, DVD movies to rent, complimentary kayaks, snorkel-ling gear and reef shoes, on-site manager.

Main Islander on the Beach Holiday Properties offers accommodation in the form modern, fully furnished deluxe self contained one and two bedroom holiday Villas and Bungalows which are located in Vaimaanga and Betela. Some have absolute beachfront location and others are located across the road from the beach with views of the beach, turquoise lagoon and ocean. Located on the main bus route and nearby stores for supplies, fresh fruit and vegetables and also reastaurants.
Each Villa and Bungalow is fully furnished with a full kitchen, its own private large covered decked patios with generous outdoor furniture for relaxing on or sunbathing.
Airport transfer by prior arrangement, Gas Barbecue facilities available by request, Non-smoking rooms, Kayaks, Snorkeling gear, Covered Patio Area, Outdoor Furniture, Tropical Gardens, Smoke-free properies.

A wonderful hotel right on the beach, the nicest part too. Fantastic friendly service. Scooter hire right outside the hotel. Great food and staff, fabulous pool. We loved our room over looking the beach, very comfortable clean and spacious. We look forward to going back sometime in the near future.

Idyllically set on the shores of a sheltered lagoon, Sunset Resort has 35 spacious self-catering studios and suites situated either on the Beachfront overlooking the lagoon or beside either of the two swimming pools amid lush tropical gardens. This personally managed resort has an intimate atmosphere that will make every guest feel welcome and ensure they experience the magic of Rarotonga and its people. The secluded beachfront location of the resort on the western side of the island provides guests with an unspoilt view of Rarotonga's exotic sunsets from any of the suites. Only eight minutes drive from the main town of Avarua and just minutes from the golf course and tennis courts, the resort is ideally located for convenience and privacy. The resort features an open-air restaurant surrounded by gardens. 'The Anchorage Restaurant & Bar' is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The Sunday Sunset BBQ is a relaxed option and gives guests the opportunity to mix and mingle while being entertained by local musicians. Hotel house bar 'Drum Beat' is open for happy hour between 5 - 7 pm daily. Each suite features a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave oven and fridge/freezer. Kitchen and dining facilities are available for private functions and beautiful gardens and beachfront are the perfect location to say your vows. Friendly staff will make your special day, one to remember. Spa Therapist is available to pamper you with a massage on the beach or a you may wish to enjoy one of her many therapy's in the privacy of your own room. The island bus stops at the resort's front gate throughout the day and the friendly staff provide useful information on sightseeing tours, outer island excursions and other island activities including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and scuba diving. Sunset Resort has all the conveniences and features needed for a relaxing escape within friendly, intimate surroundings. Because the hotel does not have a 24 hour reception, Airport Transfers are mandatory between the hours of 5pm and 8am.
Airport transfers (if required) are charged at $15 one way per person.

We stayed in both beachfront unit (well appointed) and a poolside unit (not as well sited but still OK). The hotel is on the sheltered side of Raro, near to the airport and town and has several good restaurants within walking distance. Generally fairly good value with no complaints.

Te Vakaroa Villas

My husband and I recently stayed at the beautiful Te Vakaroa Villas for 6 wonderful nights. We stayed in one of the 1 bedroom units and found it perfect for a special romantic getaway. The unit had all the amenities we needed and the furnishing and decor were fabulous. Fresh flowers in the room and breakfast delivered to us each morning were some of the extra nice touches we experienced at Te Vakaroa. The amazing infinity pool right on the beach complete with comfortable lounge chairs and an enormous daybed make the pool area the best on Muri beach. We watched many times daily as people on the beach stopped and admired the pool and the facility itself. The beach area immediately outside the Villas was equally as perfect for lounging, swimming and people watching. We found Te Vakaroa Villas to be positioned within easy walking distance of many good restaurants, equipment and car/scooter rentals as well as tour facilities. The Villas were immediately next to the facility where we picked up kayaks and snorkels to use at will and was included as part of our stay at the Villas. Sails restaurant was a very short walk and we spent several evenings beach side partaking in happy hour drinks and eats. Muri beach itself we feel is the best beach on the island for those wanting a balance between beautiful scenery, swimming/snorkeling and access to restaurants and other local businesses. We do recommend renting a scooter or car in order to make the run into Avarua for groceries and shopping but it would not be necessary to have a vehicle rented for your entire stay. It should be noted that we did not book a vehicle in advance of our stay but had no problem renting a scooter just down the road from Te Vakaroa Villas. Last but not least, we were taken very good care of by all the friendly staff as well as by the owner Nick. They were extremely accommodating to our needs and went out of their way to make sure our stay was as fantastic as the Villas themselves.

Very friendly employees. The main pool was undergoing maintenance and didn't open until we left (great when it opened). Great lagoon for snorkeling. Very good food and fun daily activities. Good value.

We had an amazing stay. The food was great, the staff were really friendly and the kidz club was excellent. Snorkelling with the fish just arms length away was fantastic and our son tried to catch the fish with his bare hands! The pool was a bit cold for us, but the beach made up for it!! Beautiful grounds and facilities - we would definitely go back!

Husband & I enjoyed staying here. Food selection was good, convenient and priced reasonably. Renting a car was easy as Budget on premises. Staff very friendly. Good 'middle of the road' priced accommodation and convenient location. If i visited again, would probably try another place to compare.

スタッフはみなさんとても親切で、こちらの満足度はほぼ満点に近いです。あまりスタッフのサービスに満足する事はないのですが、はじめて満足しました。
ほとんどの物がこのリゾート内で揃うのですが、レストランのメニューなどがワンパターンになるので５日間の滞在中3日は外に食べに出ました。プールがもう少し大きければいいと思います。また、インターネットももう少し充実してほしいです。また、来年行くつもりですが・・・

Swimming pools, kayaks and snorkeling equipment are available for guests to use. An onsite guest laundry enables total self-sufficiency whilst on your Rarotonga holiday. A convenience store is located nearby and so too are restaurants. The round-Rarotonga public bus stops directly outside the resort enabling easy access to any point on Rarotonga. Alternatively, hire a car, motorcycle or bicycle from and travel at your own pace. Reception can book any tour excursion on Rarotonga or the outer islands. Les bungalows sont propres, spacieux, calmes et bien aménagés. L'accueil est remarquable : gentillesse, sourire ... on se plie en 4 pour vous faire plaisir.
Il y a 2 piscines, mais l'une est privative pour les locataires de la villa. De même vous avez 1 seul barbecue (en mauvais état) pour tous les bungalows ; ce qui n'est pas très pratique.
Vous devez traverser la route pour aller sur une superbe plage de sable blanc peu fréquentée.
La localisation du Lodges n'est pas au top. Vous êtes isolés. Vous avez 2 magasins quasiment vide à proximité. Si vous voulez cuisiner, il faut absolument louer une voiture pour faire des courses à la ville. A proximité, vous avez le bar et le resto d'un hôtel de luxe (les prix sont raisonnables).

A small and intimate resort situated right on stunning Titikaveka lagoon. The beach here is of dazzling white sand and edged with waving palm trees and stretches unbroken for some 8km in both directions. Yours may well be the first footprints at 9am! The lagoon is crystal clear, a snorkeler's paradise and a haven to a myriad of tropical fish. The Royale Takitumu sits amidst 1.3 acres lush tropical landscaped gardens, waterfalls and lily ponds. The 10 architecturally designed villas with either lagoon view, Honeymoon or VIP Beachfront are built with privacy and comfort in mind and are also self contained. There is a store nearby if you want to cater for yourselves or a number of restaurants are also within walking distance. Perfect for couple and honeymooners who are looking for a small intimate hideaway offering peace and tranquility and very personalized service. No children under 12 years of age permitted.
VILLAS: Built with privacy in mind, all enjoy full lagoon views and are located only a few steps from the beach.
Hotel is also providing Barbecue area, Reception, and Snorkeling and Kayaks.
NOTE: Guests should contact hotel directly for transfers (at Cost). Hotel does not have a sign on the road so it can be hard to find at night. Transfer is highly recommended.
