The hotel is conveniently located in the chic and modern Norte section of Bogota. It is close to great shopping and wonderful restaurants. The area is very safe and has constant high security. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided absolutely great assistance when requesting information of the local area, securing safe and affordable transportation, and providing very clean and affordable rooms. I was very satisfied.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are multilingual and helpful. My rate included breakfast, which was also above average. Minibar items and roomservice was not extremely expensive like it can be in most hotels.

This is a very confortable hotel, in a very good location. The lobby is not luxurious, but the rooms are very well appointed. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Bogota: excellent fruit, the usual buffet offerings and an array of colombian typical delicacies, not matched any place else. The staff is corteous and eager to please. I will go back to this hotel any time.

I found this hotel to be as good as advertised which is always rare. The services and amenities were top notch. The restaurants in the hotel were a bright spot. The location is safe and close to shopping and entertainment. The car service they offer is a great plus and the drivers are friendly and knowledgeable.

All rooms are elegantly furnished and include cable TV and a minibar. Dann Norte Hotel Bogotas rooms provide accommodations equipped with sitting area, minibar and LCD TV. The little things!

I stayed two weeks in this hotel.
First the bad:
1. Never stay in the rooms facing the main street. The noise from the traffic in the morning will wake you up!
2. Water in the showers pool because floor is slanted away from drain.
3. Music from lounge band will keep you up if you go to bed before 11pm
4. curtain in my room fell. It was put back up but never repaired, so it fell back down over and over.
I asked for but never received another room.
The good:
1. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating.
2. Food was very good! free breakfast Awesome!
3. House keepers were very nice!
4. Lounge Band was Awesome!
5.Pharmacy next door was great for essentials!

Great location, great service, great price.

I stayed 5 nights for business. The hotel sent a driver to the AIrport to pick me up and help me with my luggage. My room was a one bedroom suite that had a hardwood floors, a living room, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv with plenty of cable channels and a very comfortable bed. Everyone in the hotel is ready to respond to your needs. My housekeeper was specially kind and helpful. Breakfast is served to your room and it is pretty good. There are plenty of restaurants around and the area is safe and elegant. I recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a great location, personalized service, good prices and a nice comfortable room. This is no large brand hotel but a well ran mid size hotel.

On the positive, I will say that this hotel is elegant in decor and the rooms have nice furniture and are clean. However, this hotel can hardly be considered as five stars. The rooms are extremely noisy and every rumbling and sound of the trucks and vehicles of the busy highway below is heard in stero even on the tenth floor accomodations where we stayed. It was impossible to fall asleep. The next day when we asked to be transferred to a room which was more sound-proof, we were informed it would cost us an additonal $150.00 per day on top of the $190.00 per day we were already being charged. Furthermore,there is no real "air conditioning". Instead there is an internal fan in the roof which circulates air, but at times the room seemed stuffy and it was difficult to breathe. Last, but not least, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. We both felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood and the sheets on the bed were so stiff with starch, we might as well have used cardboard as covers. Not a pleasent experience plus the free breakfast was lousy! I would not recomend anyone stay there. After the second night we left and transferred to the Bogota Plaza Summit Hotel. Great hotel, elegant, large rooms, real air conditioning, wonderful breakfast and best of all, cost less per night than Bogota Royal. Highly recommend the Bogota Plaza Summit!

Hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The bed spread was also very heavy and uncomfortable. If you sleep late and miss the morning room cleaning service they want to charge you 50% of the room rate for a later cleaning. Need better communication on all the charges that will appear on your statement upon checkout.

This hotel is the very definition of "chevere" -- Bogotanos' word for cool. The rooms are stylish, with gorgeous beds, a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms! Most walls are windows so the light is magnificent by day. The neighborhood is about two miles from Usaquen and is very safe, with its own security guard. An ATM machine is located a convenient block away (and there's a security guard there as well).
On my last night, a band of musicians with trumpets, violins, and two singers arrived in the lobby to serenade a table of obviously local guests. What a magical moment!
104 Art Suites is a terrific, very affordable hotel in this fantastic city that is still a secret to most travellers.
