The hotel is conveniently located in the chic and modern Norte section of Bogota. It is close to great shopping and wonderful restaurants. The area is very safe and has constant high security. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided absolutely great assistance when requesting information of the local area, securing safe and affordable transportation, and providing very clean and affordable rooms. I was very satisfied.

Great location, great service, great price.

I stayed 5 nights for business. The hotel sent a driver to the AIrport to pick me up and help me with my luggage. My room was a one bedroom suite that had a hardwood floors, a living room, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv with plenty of cable channels and a very comfortable bed. Everyone in the hotel is ready to respond to your needs. My housekeeper was specially kind and helpful. Breakfast is served to your room and it is pretty good. There are plenty of restaurants around and the area is safe and elegant. I recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a great location, personalized service, good prices and a nice comfortable room. This is no large brand hotel but a well ran mid size hotel.

This hotel is the very definition of "chevere" -- Bogotanos' word for cool. The rooms are stylish, with gorgeous beds, a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms! Most walls are windows so the light is magnificent by day. The neighborhood is about two miles from Usaquen and is very safe, with its own security guard. An ATM machine is located a convenient block away (and there's a security guard there as well).
On my last night, a band of musicians with trumpets, violins, and two singers arrived in the lobby to serenade a table of obviously local guests. What a magical moment!
104 Art Suites is a terrific, very affordable hotel in this fantastic city that is still a secret to most travellers.

Business trip really good food close to the airport. The hotel is in the southern part of the city seems like it is in an awkward area but decent.

I stayed in this hotel due to the convenience. It is near to the airport and they offered all the basic services (breakfast included/free wifi/free airport transportation). I was really impressed by the quality of the rooms and the overall experience. It is more a mid/high range business type hotel with great quality/attention. I will definitely consider it in the future.

Do not depend on private taxi service

I was told by the hotel staff to keep myself away from public transportation and street yellow taxis. They offered me private hotel taxis and guide services. I went to the closest Tourism information office and they explained me how to use public transportation: rural and city buses, Trans Millennium (Metro), and yellow taxis. They told me how safe the country was. After that I went on my own all over the country with few bucks and a lot of fun. Colombian people are great. I am a 66 year old man, all by myself. People yielded their seats when I used crowded buses. Everybody treated me as a senior. No criminals, no danger, everything just fine

For Bogotá, this is an excellent hotel and oustanding value. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms, good service, nice TVs, comfortable beds with good linens, nice full power shower with good heat (not always a given in Bogota), English speaking staff if needed, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic (linen on tables, for example, and made to order omelettes among other goodies). Location is good, and convenient by taxi to most places.

Very friendly staff and overall a very pleasant property. I would highly recommend the Andino Royal based on the high quality and spaciousness of guest rooms, friendly helpful staff, good security and location. The range, quality of presentation and value for money of the food in the hotel's restaurant was not as good as it could or should be. The hotel's only restaurant was certainly not competitive with the very many high quality restaurants in the precinct of Bogota in which the hotel is located.

Best location for downtown and north city visitors

A little gem in hidden rocks. The european boutique appeal prevails throughout the entire building, which surely was a residential house some 5 decades before. Although located in a residential area, a little bit of cars and people noise leaks in the rooms, but this is common in almost every hotel in a busy and crowded city as Bogota!. Room is small but cosy, it has everthing you need, including a very confortable bed and a modern bathroom. Great service.

The hotel staffs are friendly and helpfull to me and my guest who came to meet me in the hotel. They have nice patio for us to have out door fun. They have everything we need,free wireles internet, free breakfast etc. Simple, small, quiet and sweet hotel for single people or couple. Hotel bathroom need exhaust fan for sanitary purpose.

Overall, this hotel was quite adequate. It was very clean and the room was comfortable. There were two drawbacks. Number one was the location; it simply wasn't near anything--attractions,shopping,parks, etc. Number two was the very poor service in the restaurant. The staff could use some training in customer attention.

Too Expensive for what it offers

Even though this hotel was clean,modern and comfortable, Avoid the restaurant as the meals are too expensive and the portions way too small, for example I paid $ 3 us for a glass of tangerine juice,$17 US for two small plates of spaghettis with mediocre tomato sauce etc. etc. Do not use the Phone to make International Calls, they carged me $ 200.000 pesos for a 10 min call to the US, equivalent to $100 dollars US, internet its not free, if you use the wi-fi connection for more than 20 minutes it costs you $2.5 us Dollars an hour, or you can go with the $ 25000 pesos a day or $ 12.5 US dollars a day for internet.
This hotel is overpriced when booked thru Orbitz, local rates differs for international travelers,not included in the fare are: hotel insurance ,taxes.
I would never book this hotel again,there are better hotels for what I paid for and in better locations in Bogota.
PS: The staff at the front counter used pressure tactics when I questioned the charges for the phone calls, as for example telling me that the shuttle van to the airport departs at precisely 11:00 am and that it wouldnt wait for me even though we were the only passengers. I felt Robbed and frustrated.
I believe that in Colombia the moment they know you are from abroad everything all of a sudden costs twice or more , even though I speak spanish fluently .This is part of the local culture so please be advised.

We spent 9 nights at this hotel, people incredible kind, food was great, we even went for an aromatherapy massage. The only thing was when we first came in the room it smelled old, but nothing that Bogota's breeze couldn't fix. Definitely we recommend this hotel. Had a great time

The apartments did not have a steady hot water service and it can get very cold in a cold environment such as Bogota.
But the service, the privacy and the amenities make up for any inconvenience.
Concerts, get togethers, artisans on Sunday, it's own religious services, breakfast included it was all inside the hotel with the best of security.
I'm definitely going back

The staff made the stay enjoyable as they made sure you were taken care of. The room was perfect and clean although the bed could have been a bit softer. It was a long way from the airport. I didn't have the time to check it all out but wish I did.
