When you consider the location is directly across from the the szx railway station, it's a good value for under $220 a night. If you pay more than that, you will be disappointed with the rooms and cleanliness. It's an older hotel.

The internet was free and worked very well which is good for business people. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting ShenZhen for business in LuoHu area.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It's in a nice quiet area that feels refreshing after being in the city during the day. An easy bus connection into Hong Kong city - or a taxi is always waiting outside the door of the hotel and the prices for taxis are very reasonable. It's really nice for getting up to Victoria Peak. We even walked to the mid-way station and got on the tram at that point. BUT, don't try in on Saturdays. Saturday's in Hong Kong aren't pleasant. Seems like very person in the city is on the streets. Hard to even find a taxi in the city.

we expected to have friendly and english speaking staff. even in reseption area, people had very poor english. we asked for room upgrade, they doubled charged us. Also, they wanted to charge the breakfast double ( in deed , that makes triple charge) when we found that there is a mistake, a 45 min discussion started. finally, they undertand that it was their mistake. so unorganized and it is not sheraton level...

they never open the A/c, the room was extremely hot. I pay extra for a a/c room and downgrade me instead send me to a a/c room.

Unfortunately I had to spent at least 1.1/2 hour at the front desk because orbitz.com screwed up. I reserved and paid this hotel 2 weeks ago. When I arrived the hotel they said I only did reservation no payment. I show them my credit card sattement showing that orbitz.com got the payment. They didn't accept it because they didn't get the payment in their system and they wouldnt let me stay without payment. They finally let me in and same saga goes on in the morning half hour more. I refused to pay and left. Then in the middle of my business meeting hotels A/R department calling me.
Anyway it was a big frustration and they are still calling me for payment despite Orbitz.com got the payment long time ago.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is very clean. It is a little costly. They do take good care of you. They are very consider about your safety. They give you a card so you can always get back to the hotel. Being in china that was helpful. Lots of the employees speak english.

I am very happy the hotel services but very disappointed for my booking with Empire Hotel, I think they still haven't set up the connection with Hotel Club, because they couldn't receive my payment from Hotel Club, I need to pay them again when I checked in. It was full effect my trip, however I need to get my booking refund from Hotel club and I would never book this hotel again.

TAXIがつかまらなかったので羅口駅より歩いて行った。 １５分以内。 歩いて歩行街までも１５分掛からない。 食事、マッサージ、ショッピングなんでも便利。 ほとんど部屋に居なかったのであまり印象はないが不便も不愉快もなかった。

The hotel was not informed of our booking prior to our arrival. However the staff were very helpful and assisted to call Orbitz to check on our booking. The deluxe room was clean and neat. Location is good as it's 10min stroll to the metro station.

One of a Kind Hotel - Must see it!

I came to Shenzhen to practice Tai Chi and this hotel is located next to an old park that is a mecca for Tai Chi. That was good enough for me but the hotel turned out to be a real bonus on many levels.
First, the location is great. Right in the middle of the city with easy access to shopping, dining, busses and the subway. It's still a great mix of old and new.
Second, the hotel itself is super unique. All I can figure is that it was designed by a rich fashion hound. Every room, every hallway, every floor is unique, funky and tricked out. Rooms have murals, unique lighting and many design surprises. A fellow guest told me a travel show did an episode just on the hotel.
Third, the people are great. Very helpful, very friendly.
Rooms are available in a wide, wide, wide variety of prices so do check it out. It will make a great story about your trip.

The majour problem I had in regency

The majour problem I had in regency hotel was accessing internet from my room or even with my laptop.
There were just an old computer in so called business room sometimes connected to internet.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in SHZH last couple years in terms price/quality. Please know near the pool there is not bad night club with every night parties.
