Hotel is pleasant, clean (except for room carpeting, but this is typical in China)and staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was vast and made good start to the day. There was no wi-fi in my room [...]. We suspect there is no pool at this property as two of us looked for it and ended up in a back of the house hallway. The "health club" is functional but one room with three treadmills, tv, a stair climber and some weights off a deserted hallway could be improved. Centrally located with shopping accross the street. Hard (but comfortable) beds but again this is typical for China. I would stay here again.

Nice older hotel near high end shopping malls. Good access banks and local food places. Starbucks within walking distance. Service is more than adequate for the average traveler. Good breakfast buffet. The only reason I hold back from giving this a five star rating is the shabby exterior of the building and the
hard beds they have to offer. Lucky for me a hard bed works well. The interior is clean and well maintained by a hard working staff.

This is a nice hotel! While still not very busy, the service level was impeccable. The staff did everything I asked of them right down to the small details. The hotel operates under the same management as the Crown Plaza Hotel which is on the same block. Between the two hotels, there is a good assortment of restaurants and social activities. I will stay at the Holiday Inn again!

This is a very good place to stay well located to shopping and several parks. The staff was very helpful and spoke very good english. The breakfast buffet was excellent offering both Chinese and American selections. It would have been nicer if it had been included. I would definately recommend it and would stay there again.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Insofar as value-for-money goes, the Ibis in Shenyang was worth every penny.
My only complaint is that the weather was too cold, but one cannot blame the hotel.
I woud have no reservations (pardon the pun) about staying there again, but in the summertime!

There are 435 guest rooms in the hotel. Facilities in room include DDD/IDD telephones satellite television central air-conditioning high-speed internet access in-room safe and mini bar. Room service is available on request. Non smoking floor and Executive floors are also available.
For those here on business the Marriott has a number of good services. There are a total of 7 meeting rooms here and a banquet hall that can seat up to 500 people. All of these can be equipped with simultaneous interpretation and well projected light and sound systems. Always difficult to know what you're really going to get on such long-distance booking in Non-Chain Hotels, however, I trust the guys at [website] to have reasonably tested choices against their criteria.
This time too, I have to say they dis not disappoint!. Hotel was good value for $60 as I had booked a Larger Suite and it measured up well to a 3-4 star status. Only downside is lack of English, but as I had a Chinese Person with me that was quickly overcome. Enjoyed the stay and Breakfast was a great choice of "Chinese Stuff" Hot & Cold!! Gus.
