Perfect Choice for Shanghai

This hotel is every bit as beautiful as the photos. The staff and concierge are really helpful and friendly but they speak good English rather than perfect English. This is normal for China. They are very helpful with writing instructions for taxi drivers. The Buffet Breakfast is great. The room is very comfortable and stylish with a great bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great find in Zhabei. Very central and 20ft from the subway entrance. Entrance to hotel is a bit hard to find since it is located in a large laneway. The finishings and decor were really nice. Great lobby bar. Hotel has a very nice spa/gym. Service by the attendants was really good. They give you a towel and bottle of water when you work out. There is also a club attached to this hotel, which I didn't get a chance to check out since it wasn't opened yet. But by the looks of it, it seems to be well designed from the outside. I would definitely stay here again.

Although the cost of this hotel is very affordable, I wouldn't make any plans to stay more than one day. The rooms are not up to super 8 standards and there iks no complimentary breakfast as is the norm for this chain. The location is okay if you are familiar with Shanghai's subway system, but you still have to take a bus to get to the first stop.
