Everything was superb during my stay on business with exception of the conceierge and check out. There was not enough staff to handle the amount of people. Although many staff members were standing around, nothing was happening and people were complaining. My vote would be to have less security members of staff and more who actually do something. I almost missed my plane as a result. One of the managers helped me bring my bags out to get a taxi after waiting 30 mintues to check out.

This hotel is located in a quiet suburban area of Shanghai. The subway station is next door and only 15 minutes to Nanjing East Road. Also in the immediate area is a hypermarket and a bakery/deli/cafe which was good as an alternative to dining at the hotel. Meals in the hotel restaurant were fairly expensive and not great value which was the major let down for me at this hotel.

Got there on a Thursday night, toilet didn't work. Told the front desk in the morning and when I got back, it still didn't work. they put me in another room, but forgot to tell housekeeping, so the room didn't get cleaned that next day.

The rooms were clean, they make fresh cookies every evening, and have breakfast too. The staff was so friendly, I want to stay there next time we go to spokane. The location was really nice too.

Great hotel, less than great location

Beautifully decorated and VERY spacious rooms, friendly staff and the amenities are great. The only problem with this hotel is the location. It's in the middle of no where, and there aren't convenience stores or any restaurants within walking distance. Also, cab drivers tend not to be familiar with the hotel for some reason, so unless you know the city it can be difficult to get home. Hint-have the cab driver call the front desk to get directions from the staff home if you run into trouble.

Location: The hotel is great if you have business in the Free Trade Zone. If you are a tourist, i suggest you look else where. Taxi fare to bund area is about 90 CNY. Good luck getting somebody to drive you back to the hotel at night. There are no information for the tourists at the hotel.
Food: there are three restaurants in the hotel. They all close early and weekend (imagine that!).
Rooms are Modern, spacious and clean. You do get free internet which is a plus. N

The hotel staff is very nice and the rooms and the entire hotel is clean. The beds are hard but all beds in China are like that. It was nice that this hotel offered more than one TV channel in English. There was free internet provided in the rooms, but not free WiFi [...]. The business Center charges you to use the internet there at a rate of 3 RMB per 10 minutes. A single printed page in black and white costs 8 RMB. They will charge this to your room but you need to insist on it. I used the internet in my room to make some google maps of the areas that I wanted to visit. Then e-mailed them to myself. I then went down to the business center and logged on and printed my maps. I did this twice and each time was on the internet for about 2 mins. I was only charged the 3 RMB one time. The Hotel is not very close to really any of the tourist attractions. By Taxi it will cost about 60 RMB to get to the shopping street or to the Yu Yaun Gardens, or to the Bund. There is a subway station somewhat close to the Hotel but that section of line was closed when I was in china for construction. The bell hop at the hotel said it was about a 15 min walk to that station if were open. To take a taxi to the station would cost 12 RMB. The base rate for a taxi in Shanghai is 12 RMB. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. They had a large buffet and they have a cook that will make omelets and eggs to order. The Hotel is very family friendly. They will not allow any unregistered guests to go to any rooms after 10:00 pm. So you won't see any prostitution like at other hotels. Before going to this hotel make sure to have a very detailed map of the location to give to a taxi driver. My taxi drive got us close to the hotel but luckily I had the phone number on me so that the drier could call and ask for directions. If I go to Shanghai again I would prfer to pay an extra $10-$20 USD per night to stay closer to the main attractions. I easily spent about that much each day on taxi services. If you place a deposit for incidentals make sure to keep your receipt! Even though they kept a copy it was very painful to have them find that to get my deposit back! The spa seemed to be over priced when compared to local spas. I guess your paying for the convenience of it being located in the hotel.

Au Busness centre, pas vraiment de brochure en englais et guide informatisé est difficile à utiliser.
le petit déjeuner assez cher mais de bon qualité. Le restaurant peu fréconté mais bon raport qualité prix.
le spa est très bien décoré mais pas très soigné, pas de bonne anglais à la reception, fumé dans les pieces de jeux citué dans le spa (??) et prix très cher pour mes massages mais de qualité (tai massage) exelente.
A l'arrivé à l'aéroport conseillé d'avoir le plan de cituation de l'hotel pour taxi, qui ne le trouve pas toujours facilememt, du probablement à la grandeure de la ville.
A prévoir téléphoner dans les hopitaux avant voir un medecin car le service de medecine traditionelle chinoise n'est pas toujours ouvert l'après midi et samedi et dimmanche.
Mieux avoir le guide de la ville sur soi pour visiter la ville.
Le chambres sont très bien, les lits comphortable, super décor et proproté. vous pouvez changer facilement les CHF à la réception.

A cheap accomodation for an extended stay, but if you are used to first rate accomodations often found at inexpensive rates...this is not the location. This is inexpensive and lacking all amenities.
