What Dongguan lacks in charm and history, it makes up for in shopping and restaurants. Great place for a weekend visit. Ladies, don't forget to get your nails done and a visit to the Global Foot Massage is a must. Nice easy chairs and the girls are GOOD!

Great Hotel-- an Oasis in Dongguan

I was in Dongguan on business and tried this hotel because I heard many good things about it from others. Wow, were they right. It is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are beautiful, new, and clean. The pool is comfortable. The restaurants have great food from the east and west.
Highly recommended!

I stayed 3 nights on Biz and the hotel is AWESOME experience for the money. The breakfast is TERRIFIC and better than most 5 stars I have stayed in... Rooms are Excellent as well and Spa was 1st rate. Overall not much wrong, except the front desk personnell are not great at English and we did have an experience where they said the rate that we were charged by Orbitz was too low and still as of this date they are trying to collect more $ from me...

Sofitel Dongguan Humen Oriental Hotel is large hotel and very well organized.
It is good availability for good value.
From the beginning, the concierge staff were excellent, were attentive and helpful in directing people very helpful with map directions and suggestions.
Front Desk staffs were friendly, efficient and helpful, were very convenient when I checked in, and found easy my reservation and upgrade my room, all helped to sort out the issue.
The Italian GM Mr.Colella, the German Manager Mr.Schmid and all managers were amazing, kind and professional!
Somewhat complicated floors and crossing points between the ground floor and the towers where the lobby in the 62 floor.
But the hotel very new, tower high 62 floors, the gym and the pool area are great, the hotel and furniture are modern and work really well, free WIFI is also very convenient and was decisive in my choice to stay 50 days since the first 2 weeks of opening to follow my business in DongGuan.

Front Desk staff were friendly, efficient and helpful , Check-in and Check-out were very convenient when I checked in and found easy my reservation and upgrade my room, all helped to sort out the issue and I got on a wonderful room with very comfortable bed, GM and all managers were amazing, kind and professional!
The somewhat complicated floors and crossing points between the ground floor and the towers where the lobby in the 62 floor.
But the hotel very new, tower high 62 floors, the gym and the pool area are great, the hotel and furnitures are modern and work really well, free wifi is also very convenient and was decisive in my choice to stay there 3 times for 50 days since the first 2weeks of opening to follow my business in DongGuan area I had a 1 King bed with a choice of pillows, the room is about "suite" which is very spacious with panoramic views 2 sides, 2 flat screen tv, bathroom is large with plenty of toiletries.
I can recommend this hotel for business or holiday.
