This boutiques hotel was staffed with friendly bilingual staff, warm and welcoming and helpful with all questions; there was a reasonably priced spa on site that we enjoyed after a long journey; the on-site breakfast was just what we needed after a week of eating in tiny storefronts, and the rooms were lovely.
do NOT expect a third bed or cot ...even though it was offered, it is a little camp cot and booking a second room is a better bet! We felt spoiled and refreshed by the time we left! I highly recommend this hotel as it was easy enough to get to banks and the subway and taxis, while still feeling as if we were in a little village(one of the rebuilt "old neighborhoods" in Chengdu).

The BuddhaZen was a wonderful hotel and in a great location. The area had lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel was beautiful and wonderfully designed. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was amazing and so helpful. They really went out of their way to assist me. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. I can't wait to stay there again.

Considering the room rate of this hotel I would say that my stay was average. Nothing special if all you are looking for is a place to sleep at night. It could use more attention when it comes to cleanliness and the beds could be more comfortable.
The staff are friendly enough, although nobody could speak a word of English they tried to accomodate our request. Because of the language barrier it takes a really long time to check in and out of the hotel. One of my main considerations in choosing the hotel is because it claims to be an "International" hotel.
I hope they would include an accurate map of the hotel with English translation in the website. When I booked the hotel the map showed that it is located 2 blocks from the other hotel where I will be attending a conference. Upon arriving at the place it turns out to be a 10 minute ride by taxi from my hotel.
I hope you would also include a survey of the airline service which in the case of China Southern is HORRIBLE!!! to say the least.

The location of this hotel is average at best, but as the metro system was not in operation yet, it wasn't an issue anyway - we took taxis everywhere. It's not close to the Chengdu bus or train station.
Apart from that, the hotel is very nice. Clean, good sized room, staff very helpful although almost no English spoken. They came up to our room to fix the computer - we had to communicate through basic mandarin and hand signals...but it was ok. The msg got through : )

Excellent hotel overall! Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, good tv, etc. Bathroom was spacious, but showed a little wear in spots. No room safe to secure valuables. But location is stupendous! Overlooks the riverwalk, close to shopping and dining, easy bus or taxi access. Making my second stay there!

Tibet Hotel was very accommodating. Our prepaid reservation was not communicated to hotel. In spite of being technically sold out they gave us a room for the two days it took to resolve the reservation issue via email from China.

We stayed for 1 night. We were family of 4 - 2 adults & 2 children. We had a king bed with 1 folding bed. Room was not large but quite adequate. Beautiful decor, excellent service and breakfast had a mix of western and chinese - food was very good. We taxied everywhere so not sure of exact location. Found Chinese market near by which was quite interesting and fun. Staff were extremely helpful in every way. Definately recommended

The hotel was clean and provided good service. However I would not recommend it to vacation travelers. The hotel is a convention site and can have many people. The location is about a half hour from downtown. So if you want convenience it is better to check in to a hotel in the downtown area.

No, concerns with the Holiday Inn Century City. Excellent accommodations and staff. Friendly service and very beautiful rooms. For the price, I would recommend this hotel and visit again in the future.

After suffering with smoky hotels in China, this was a welcome relief with its enforced no smoking in the lobby area. The no smoking floor we were on also was clean air.

This is definitely a 3 if not 4 star hotel by any standard. Staff members were efficient and polite. We received a welcoming gift set when we checked in. Surprisingly, breakfast was included in the already cheap rate with many choices! I have never been in such a good holiday inn express. It is actually better than many of the holiday Inns!

Centrally located, the Hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travellers alike. While the hotel room decor and building are somewhat dated, its cleanliness, freshness and staff service are excellent, with the exception of carpet appearance on corridor outside hotel rooms. The quality of breakfast is however considered average when compared to other 5 stars hotels.
