I ended up at this hotel after my other reservation in Ottawa was erroneously cancelled. I am sure that if you are a gambler this is a nice spot but it is not very adequate for business travel.
The location is remote, there is no wireless access, you have to pay for Internet access (I thought I was back in the 90's), you can't get a reasonably priced meal and there is no decent bar to just go and sit in to have a beer and watch some sports.
This place is definitely not for someone traveling for business in Ottawa.

Went to Ottawa on business trip. It had everything required, but was a bit away from city/market and also had limited restaurant options close to it's location...but overall decent value for price

We travelled to visit the Winter festival and stayed at the Hotel. The employees were extremely helpful, curteous and knowledgable. The only problem we had was when using the pullout sofa we discovered that there were no comforters to be used, We had to utilize the comforter from the King size bed. But it wasn't a problem. We would most likely be back again. We attended the bar area later in the day and the gentleman serving was very helpful, and we enjoyed our time there

Nice comfurtably furnished room and the view on the river was really
nice.The hôtel is very well located with easy acces to Ottawa and
Gatineau . Staff was extra nice and very polite. Only négative point
was the restaurant in the hôtel for breakfast although very conveniant
the food is god awful.
