Lovely hotel, wonderful staff. Friendly and informative. Quick to bring up fresh towels, extra coffee filters. Always refer to me with my last name when answering phone. Beautifully decorated for Christams~even had a Santa Claus! Valet quick when leaving. Nice restaurants and pub and very centrally located to walking everywhere. My jeep wouldn't fit in their underground parking lot ($29 per day)so Valet parking($39) for 3 days plus tax cost me $132.21...way too much, especially because we walked everywhere!

Had a great time at the Delta Chelsea, it was for my 25th birthday, staff was very friendly, location was great, cabs were readily available when we needed to go out, they were very busy and I had to call the front desk a few times before they answered, but despite that a great experience!

I got a very good deal through a major online travel site and have no complaints. I had minimal interaction with the staff and did not use the amenities so cannot comment on those aspects of the hotel. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great. This was a very nice hotel and an excellent location for the price. I would stay again.

Very nice hotel however the parking is a bit of a challenge which we did expect from a downtown location. Very pricey to park with the hotel for in and out priveleges so we chose an underground option just down the street. The hotel is close to just about everything! The room was nice but showing signs of wear such as wallpaper peeling in areas and light fixtures that were a bit tarnished. Overall we were very happy with our stay and appreciated being upgraded to a king room as well.

Excellent service but lacking in amenities
-
JRad
- Feb 8, 2012
My room was the tiniest hotel room I'd ever seen, which is fine because I didn't really need a big room, it was just surprisingly small and did not have a chair or anything, just the bed (which took up most of the room) and a couple tables.
There was this red light in the closet that I was some mix between looking modern and making it look like a place you would take a hooker (a hooker you are paying a LOT of money but aren't planning on spending the night in the hotel afterward--actually, this is probably why the comforter was not super warm and the warm blanket was hidden in the closet where I didn't find it till my last night)
It was irritating that I had to pay for Internet in my hotel, then the Internet ended up being *so slow* that it was hard to get stuff done. It was also irritating that a lot of other little amenities you would expect from a hotel room were missing (like lotion? and soft towels? the towels were kinda crummy and rough). There was also a gym next door that we got discounts on using for being a guest at the hotel, but it still cost $10 to use.
In spite of all that, the service was excellent. I was impressed with the fact that basically from the time I checked in, every staff member knew which room I was in without asking every time I was down at the desk and many of them knew my name!

Good location, lousy "green" policy..

Supposed green policy nonsensical - if you opt in basically say goodbye to all housekeeping including dusting of room and trash removal, without further explanation just seems a way for the hotel to simply save money on staffing costs.

Great location, you pop out of the hotel and walk right over to Dundas square which is the "Times Square" of Toronto. Room was very clean and quiet (was up on 20th floor), nice 80 cm flatscreen, and coffee machine, did not have breakfast so can't comment on that one. The hotel includes a swimming pool and a gym, but haven't been there. Parking is $15 per day. Room prices is what you must expect for a hotel like this in downtown Toronto.

nite sleeper
- Dec 29, 2012
We only slept here and it was a perfect location for us close to where family lives, the theatres and town. My only complaint was the pillows. Although they look wonderful, I need a low pillow or my neck gets sore. These big high ones didn't work for me and I wish there was a choice. I ended up using my coat rolled to the right height. The bed itself was very comfortable.

Only there for one night, but everything was great. If you're going out for the night life, especially night clubs, this is slightly out of the way... this is a much better location to be near Yonge Street shopping and some of the bars. YOU DO NEED TO PAY FOR PARKING, they had $35 Valet, but the garage across the street only cost $16 for a night. Great hotel, wish we had been there longer!

Overall experience was great. I would recommend the hotel to others.
Pros:
-Location: The hotel was located approx a mile from where we wanted to go, and we were able to walk from/back to hotel very easily. It was a fairly nice neighborhood.
-Parking: It was $20 for 24hrs, which seems to be very reasonable for TO.
Cons:
-The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable, the foot-end of the mattress kept falling though the wires.

This hotel was built over what was previously a bank, so check out the safe in the basement! Excellent location, walking distance to most places and connects to the path. Had a problem with the room initially, having upgraded to a superior room as we were staying six nights and wanted a room with a view, we were put in a room that overlooked an office block ten feet away from the window. Complained to the front desk, and after a couple of hours wait they put us in a better room. Good facilities in room, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and two ring hob, though not enough chairs.

I had to travel up to Toronto because of a family crisis. It actually was the worst time of my life...so I really appreciate the service and kindness the staff gave me. On my first night in, a hotel worker helped me find an extra charger....that really helped alleviate some of my stress during a horrible situation. The front desk offers extra toiletries if need be. The location of the hotel is fabulous. It is located on the hip Bloor street...if you walk down Bloor there are so many restaurants...bars....pubs....shops....and if you walk in the other direction there are all kinds of high class shopping places..like Prada, Coach, LV. The Bata Shoe Museum is across the street and the Royal Ontario Museum is a block away. The hotel is in the University of Toronto area. I enjoyed my hotel experience. The subway is nearby....in fact one of the elevators goes right down to the subway. The subway makes it easy to get around the city.

very comfortable, well appointed room. Great location. Somewhat surprised by the quality of food. To my knowledge there is only lobby restaurant/bar and while is was ok, nothing special. One other thing that was annoying, from the main entrance to the hotel on King, you have to carry your luggage up stairs to arrive at reception on the lobby floor.

Loved the location in the entertainment district, also convenient to Airport Express as well as the stops on the sightseeing tour. Many restaurants nearby and easy walk to the CN tower. Nice bar area and actually very nice menu. I would recommend this hotel as a good value.

The Town Inn Suites have to their advantage their excellent location near Bloor and Church street, making it easy access to any location in the city and the fine restaurants and shops therein. However, be that as it may, I am not sure this place deserves the title "Executive Suites." Granted, the suites are large given that they are old apartment units. Overall they are rather clean, perhaps needing some newer furniture and pain on the walls. Yet this place lacked a number of amenities that I have come to experience in other hotels. Moreover, the building as a whole is run down- with the outside looking rather poor and the inside needing many updates.
The staff were cordial but not overly friendly.
