The perfect vacation

At first I was not happy because what [...]said about the conviency and location of the hotel. The room was ok, but the beds were hard. We didn't stay in room much. The shuttle stop to Niagara Falls was in front of the hotel. That was great and not expensive. Overall, our vacation went well, but I would prefer a hotel closer to all of the attractions.

Our Super 8 is the closest Super 8 to the Falls -on the Canadian Side- in Niagaras Tourist District and features 190 spacious guestrooms including 63 luxurious suites and 2-room suites with whirlpool and fireplace. We had the bad luck of having a motorcycle gang for neighbors. They kept everyone from getting a good nights sleep. The hotel should have called the cops. After the first night they left and it was much quieter. We felt that the rooms were over priced for what they offered. The staff were ok and none of this is their fault. If all you want is a place to lay your head then then thats what you get.

...because when we checked in to our room, we discovered it had not been cleaned. The beds were haphazardly made up, there was garbage in the trash cans and the toilet was clogged up with something like tobacco flakes (I will leave that up to your individual imaginations). There was also a sticky-looking substance (like hair gel) clearly visible all over one of the comforters. When we asked for a clean room, we were told none was available. There was also nobody available to clean our room that night. As the floor of the bathroom was literally puddled with dirty toilet water, we obviously could not stay the night. It would have been nice if the clerk had been a bit more proactive about the situation (finding another hotel for us to stay the night, taking charge once it was discovered that the room was dirty and/or calling Orbitz himself to cancel the reservation) but he was apologetic. All in all, I felt like hygeine wasn't a big concern nor was taking care of potential guests. Fortunately, we were only passing through for the one night and were able to book another similarly-valued hotel room close by ourselves. Otherwise, this would have been a pretty serious disaster.

Hotel was old, but clean. Not far from attractions, and had decent no charge parking.
The pool was not open yet, but was dirty and had garbage floating in it.
Other guest were loud and partying late into the night. No telephone in the room to call the front desk. Had to go deal with the other guests myself.

it is not the first time that we stay there. it is good for a night or a couple of nights. we stayed at the a room with King bed and jaccuzy. remember is a two start Motel, so don't expect fancyness. the room needs some improvements TLC mostly. for example the tissue holders are rusty, also the shower curtain should cover most the water going out. the AC unit is very old,. overall as I said, it goes according to what you pay.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again!! We have a 1 king bed and Jacuzzi guest room and it was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a couples weekend getaway!!

The hotel was worth the price we paid. We weren't expecting much. The room was clean and we got service each day. Free wireless worked just fine. Room had microwave and fridge. The free breakfast wasn't much: toast, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, coffee, milk and koolaid. A couple of miles from the falls, but I had my car, so that wasn't an issue. Free parking at the hotel. All-in-all, worth what we paid, nothing more.

The hotel was good and the price we paid really worth it. The hotel management had been good and courteous to us. Room service was also good. Overall we didn't find anything wrong with the hotel. As a matter of fact, we had got the service we were not expecting there.

the room was nice, but the a/c conditioner didnt work in the first room we were in, then got switched to another room where it was still hot, couldnt sleep, plus the people next door kept slamming thier door all night, so didnt get much sleep

We went to Niagara to visit Marineland and of course, the falls. The hotel is located a bit far, hence we had to take the car. We never tried the shuttle, but we def. recommend it, specially during the weekend and holidays (traffic and hard to find parking). I've been to Niagara more than a dozen times and the hotel is just as good as the other hotels I've stayed at. The first night, we were in the normal 2 queen bedroom and found out that water upstairs was leaking; I immediately went to the front desk and the manager came to check it and switched us right away to a much more bigger room. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They have a big parking lot and the rooms looked pretty clean and so were the sheets. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Straight out of a horror movie

[...] Upon pulling up to the motel I did not even want to get out of my vehicle. This motel looked like the perfect setting for a horror film. Garbage piled up everywhere, curtains missing on windows, broken items i.e. end tables, lamps, chairs, etc where piled up beside the overflowing dumpster. There were women that one could only assume were "ladies of the night" leaving one of the hotel rooms. My children suggested that it would probably be cleaner to sleep on the lawn furniture near the pool than to stay in one of the rooms.I went into the lobby and explained that there was a mix up and that I wouldn't be able to stay at the establishment. The manager was completely rude and said that he already had my money from booking [...] and that he has a strict no refund policy. I was on the phone with Mastercard, the manager from the motel also spoke Mastercard representative and he also told her he would not refund the money. I am disputing the charges with Mastcercard since it was false advertising on the hotel [...]. I wasn't looking to stay at a five star hotel, but what I did want was a clean and safe place to stay for one night. Not only did I end up paying for the night this motel, I also had to pay for a night at a hotel that was acceptable. [...]

Just8-10 minutes from Niagara Falls, Caravan Inn is convenient to Marineland, Skylon Tower, Waves Indoor Water Park, fairgrounds, golfing, and shopping. Guests will enjoy spacious rooms, outdoor pool, and childrens play area. There is no restaurant available on site, however there are many dining options nearby. After a day of sightseeing or business, guests can soak up in the sun and later take a refreshing dip at the beautiful swimming pool.
