We were able to park our car and not use it until it was time to leave. The trolley tour was at the front of the hotel and the walking tour was across the street. It was a terrific location, although the hotel should have included a breakfast of some sort.-- not only the $20 offering they had. But there were good reasonable restaurants nearby to make up for it.

I was in Kingston for a conference. The Peachtree was adequate for my needs. The rooms were clean, the beds were fairly comfortable, the pillows were HORRIBLE and the AC unit had an ambient control setting which resulted in the unit pumping out warm air even if you wanted cool air. The room was very warm and even uncomfortable at times, but since I was in my conference 8+hrs daily I made it work.

The look of the Hotel from the outside is not much to write about. But the room are nicely kept. You can tell the rooms have been renovated. For the price you won't find a better place. The manager was very helpful.

We booked this hotel so we could watch the poker run. Great location, walking distance to almost anything. Hotel room was extremely clean and very big. Looks as if it was just remodeled. The hotel restaurant was great and extremely convient. Bartender was EXTEREMLY accomidating as well as the morning hostess who made us bagels to go herself so that we could get on the boat. Only thing to know is there is NO boat parking on site.

The service is OK, but the elevator smell bad (carpet) and the restaurant charges the coffee apart from the breakfast and chocolate milk for the kids funny way to welcome your people went we know that everywhere the drinks come whit breakfast,,sent to the room i paid 2.36$ for my coffee and 7.50$for the two chocolate milk for the kids i find that it exaggerated , i felt like your thirsty for money, the other hotels in the region are renovated 2010 i think my next time i will go elsewhere.

The rooms at the Best Western are quite comfortable with almost a living-room flavor about them. The location is convenient to Kingston activities, but be conscious that nothing much is within walking distance. If you are looking for a downtown hotel this is *not* the place to stay. On the other hand, Kingston is not large so a short drive takes you to the center of town. The bar is great as is the restaurant, both of which have their own clientele, i.e. they don't depend on the hotel for their primary business. Although the hotel is generally quiet, beware of rooms near the linen-and-service rooms. The staff start their cleaning at 7:30 in the morning and the hall can get pretty noisy.

The hotel carpet and furniture are kind of old. The first floor resterant is under construction. We have more than 2 adults stay in the same room but breakfast coupon are only good for two. The nice thing about the hotel is its location. The Thousand Island cruise's departure station is right by the hotel. We got a room with lake view. We saw the Sea Star dinner cruise departure then went down stairs to get tickets for the same cruise for the follwing day.

Nice view of the lakefront. Room was clean, spacious and large. It was a bit noisy in the hallways during the day due to a kids minor hockey tournament. But everything else was great.

We used the hotel as a home base for a 4 day fishing trip. It worked out perfectly. We had a microwave and a refrigerator in the room for our food. They even had electrical outlets in parking areas to charge boat batteries.

Not worth the price of admission

Hotel staff was very friendly and helped with our early check in.
Rooms in the older "Motel" looking section are dated and need updating to match the elegant look of the main entrance interior. Unable to comment on newer separate building on site.
Room security is a question when locks that are to secure a ground floor patio door are not even screwed down.
Very heavy citrus scent greeted us when we arrived in the room, took a few hours with the patio door open to clear the air.
Bathroom fan was overy noisy, and pluming was not securely fastend in the shower, shower head moved 3-4 inches in and out from the wall.
Over priced for what we received, I have stayed at better hotels for less than what I paid here.

The Toilet is stuck to the tub the you have to sit side ways to use it.
The room is damp and smells like a basement. The whole experience feels like a student dorm.

1) While we were there we had went to the Haunted Walk.
2) The hotel says Continental Breakfast. They did not have eggs or bacon or sausages. Just cereal and muffins.

Can't Beat the Location

One of the main reasons I choose this hotel was because the description [...] said the fee included parking. Turns out, the parking lot is under construction and no one can park there. Even if it wasn't, they told me they charge $20/night. But, there was a parking lot right across the street so it wasn't that bad. The hotel was OK, nothing special, but for the price the location could not have been better for sure. I would stay there for the price again.

New building, new facilities. Every room has a mini-fridge and a microwave. The room was quite spacious. Did not have any issues with noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Interior design was a real positive. Recently remodeled, clean, good colors. Great LED TV. Pleasant surprise. Comfortable matress. Good value.
