after a day of work and then 4 hours of travel--the hotel was easy to find off of the highway, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
the room was spacious and the the bed very comfortable.
Would stay there again and get a chance to see the city.

Having traveled for two weeks around Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, my group was thrilled to have this hotel as our send-off back home. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the hotel was lovely - right on the water with a beautiful view. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, theatre and sightseeing made the visit even more enjoyable.

This is a first class hotel and the staff were excellent. When we arrived the desk clerk was very friendly and upgraded our room without even a request. Our view out the window was of the city of Saint John and the harbor area were we came in several times on cruise ships. The view at night was wonderful. The room itself was fantastic. This was a very well run hotel with very clean rooms, great amenities and super service. You will definately be pleased.

Good hotel at a decent price

We came here the first time upon finding that everything else in town was full. We were surprised to find that this older hotel had been pretty much refurbished and was actually pretty nice. It is convenient to downtown and to the ferry. The second time we stayed here we were able to book on [...] and saved a lot over the previous price. Our room was even nicer and had a great view of the harbor. Overall I would recommend it.

Cheapest hotel in [...]list in St. John.Lobby and corridors are worn out - if these were the criteria to check in - I would have turned away. Rooms have been renovated lately and were decent and clean. The internet connection was very slow. I arrived quite late and would have tried the hotel restaurant but because there was nobody taking care of us - I did not. The area is not temptating - I would not have gone for a walk in the dark. Hotel is close to city centre.Perfect for staying over night - but that is about it.

The price and location of the hotel is good.
We had a huge room with two queen beds which seemed to have been converted from a previous meeting room.
There is a musty smell in the room.
There is hot buffet breakfast for hotel guest for only $8.00. There is also a small area for slot machines.
Hotel is only minutes away from Boardwalk and Market Square.

The hotel is easy to find. The frist night, there was two `bites`missing on the bed sheet. The dog next room barked in the night and when we got up next morning, we talked about it at the desk, they nodded but nothing got done.... Besides, the bath was very old and flaking at places... As we paied a reasonable price for it we did not push the issue...
Should we have paid full price I would have insisted that something was done about that dog, we could not moove in the room that we would be barked at, it was a big woof, so our dogs andwered back... We spent as much time away as we could...

I stayed at this Inn twice during my trip. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that for the same price I has on the first stay a suite and the on the second stay only a room with double beds. I would not stay at this Inn again. All in all rather disappointing given the room charge.

First Choice for non-smokers: Hotel is 100% non smoking with FREE high speed internet connection on request. Magnificent view of bay from most rooms. Cleanliness rates extremely high. Many efficiency rooms. Sorry: no smoking rooms or pets. Please do not request smoking rooms.

older motel but had been remodeled. rooms were big, beds were good and had good pillows. bathroom was recently remodeled and had plenty of hot water. had a decent free breakfast.

It was nice and clean inside. It is old but has been remodeled inside. Courteous staff, very nice complimentary breakfast. Much bigger than it looks from the road. The view is not as described unless the third floor is high enough. Nice and quiet, no highway noise since it is up on a hill.
It was a better experience than downtown Hoilday Inn in Halifax!!!
