The Newly renovated Howard Johnson Plaza Fredericton, along with our quality guest service standards, makes us truly unique.

To start fridge was moldy, and not defrosted.curtains were different lengths, coffee pot needed to be replaced, plug in bathroom didn't work. overall cleansing was fair.
Staff in am not very helpful. But inn was near were my Dr. was so that was good.
Would I book a room there again not likely.

The Howard Johnson in Fredericton is just like you average hotel really. The linen's on the bed were fantastic and not the usual uncomfortable hotel grade. The room itself was cold and there was no thermostat to adjust. The pool and hot tub were ok, a little small but warm and not overly chlorinated. All in all, it wasn't too bad.

Comfortable Business Trip

The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was not noisy. As a biz traveller this was great, I was rested and slept well.
The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, but the rooms had a fridge so people like me with dietary restrictions could store GF/DF food in the room.
Minimal negatives; workout room didn't open until 6am, the bar was never open.

We had no problems, I loved the pool for a quick morning workout. The bed was comfy, lovely pillows, loved the high ceilings, furnishings and bath fixtures, also the soap, shampoo and conditioner! The breakfast was great, too. Just might consider adding a couple of herbal teas or green tea, and maybe they were there and I just missed them.
Thanks so much! Will definitely stay at Best Western again.

Very Nice Hotel...

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very hospitable and recommended some wonderful eateries, which were all within walking distance. We had a nice view of the river from our room which was very comfortable and quite spaceous. While there were three of us in this room, we could have turned cartwheels, if necessary, without injuring each other. On this trip to Canada, this was one of my favorite places.
Now, I had to give a rating for the restaurant/dining below before this survey would be recognized. I gave a three, but no one ate there, so I cannot give a valid accessment. I would have checked "no opinion" if that were available.

Just a average type of hotel that's starting to show its age. The room we booked was clean and the staff was friendly. We were, however, woken up twice, once at 11 PM, and again at 12 PM by rowdy patrons (pounding on doors and loud talking / laughing) enough to jar you awake so that it's hard to get back to sleep. Some type of sound proofing would be nice. We ate dinner at their dinning room and the food was better than average with good size portions at a reasonable price. No continental breakfast included. Would I return, probably not. A good night sleep without any disturbances is at the top of my preference list at any hotel.

Good quality for an affordable price

Hotel was clean, staff were courteous. Lots of variety for continental breakfast. Close to mall and movie theater. Fredericton is so small that taking a taxi to downtown pubs from the hotel is affordable - $9 - $12. Hotel was quiet but I would recommend that you ask for a room facing Bishop Drive as the traffic on the other side is distracting.

Super clean, spacious rooms! You could eat off the bathroom floor! Light beige carpets in the rooms don't lend themselves to looking clean--a very strange choice for a hotel. Staff was very friendly.
An extra chair in the room would be nice.
