Hotel is not located in Metrotown, but rather 5 mins away from Metrotown. It is super convenient location for my travels to visit family. The Safeway market next door is nice. I rented a car while there, but Kingsway is very convenient for buses and also for the Sky Train. Hotel is clean, staff is very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are nice. My only issue is the fact that there is not enough electrical outlets for charging all my various items overnight for use the next day. There seemed to be only one outlet available (unless you want to keep the light on in the bathroom as the outlet in the bathroom is controlled by the light switch in the bathroom). But I am definitely coming back here again.

Hotel room was clean was spacious but the corridors were very knocked about and needed upgrading. Not worth the money considering no breakfast / location etc.

The set up of the room was good for the family. The staff were very friendly. Central location although; very busy road out front. The breakfast was okay, The breakfast room was quite small and very busy so it was hard for the staff to keep it tidy. Overall enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again.

Hotel staff was very accommadating. The size of the room was good but the room needed some TLC. The carpet needed cleaning badly and the furniture needed refurbishing. There were burns in the chairs and the wood arms were very worn. The location is very far from downtown but there is local bus transportation. The neighborhood does not give you the feeling that you want to walk around. The hotel staff said, that there were restaurants within walking distance but we did not pursue that, instead we ate downtown before returning to the hotel. There is a MacDonalds directly across the street which we used once. There is a nice continental breakfast included but it isn't great.

Comfortable, But No Pool As Mentioned

The beds and pillows are quite comfortable and the air conditioning/heating system maintains a steady temperature. The room was very spacious for a room with two queen beds - more than adequate. We also appreciated the secured, free parking (in a city where parking, secured or otherwise, will almost always cost you!) All staff members encountered were very friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, the pool that is listed in the amenities apparently refers to the whirlpool (which was out of service for half of our stay) since there is no swimming pool much to the disappointment of my daughters. Also, if any "night owls" are booked in the room above yours you will hear them walking around as you try to drift off to sleep. The on-site restaurant was Asian cuisine so your choices are limited, but alternatives are within walking distance.
