Woodlands Inn is Fort Nelson's only full service hotel. Located on a fully landscaped lot at the entrance of Fort Nelson. It has ample parking including lighting, winter plug ins and surveillance cameras. The building is cast concrete which is exceptionally quiet. Hotel amenities include a licenced restaurant, lounge, fitness area including hot tub and steam showers, liquor store and business center in lobby with highspeed ADSL modem and tastefully appointed throughout. Guests will find the hotel quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Hotel staff offer all guests hospitality that is friendly and sincere, displaying the true qualities of the North. Located at the south entrance to the town of Fort Nelson, accessed by a service road, adjacent to the scenic Alaska Highway at Mile 300. Located within minutes of downtown, Airport and Industrial Park Area.

Nice place....Great Staff

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were what they should be. Meaning, they earned their star rating. I'd stay again no question.

I am a nonsmoker, got stuck in a nonsmoking room with no ventilation- it was horrible. The entire hotel, even the public areas, reeked of cigarettes. Also, the bed was extremely worn on one side. The hotel was ridiculously expensive. Definitely not worth the price. That said, the room was sufficiently large and the business center was nice.
