Nice resort, Great staff

Grotto Bay is an older property that has been nicely renovated. Location is close to the Airport on a very pretty ocean bay with scenic views from every room. The best feature of the hotel is a very helpful and accommodating front desk and staff that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and pleasing as possible.

Things in the room could have been updated like the bedspread, lighting and furniture. food in the hotel was pretty good and the mealplan sounds like its worth it. Its the only hotel that includes drinks. Caves on site are incredible. We would stay here again for sure

In the middle of everything

  • Bermuda lover
  • May 15, 2012
The Hamilton Princess is an elegant Bermuda institution that provides easy access to not only Hamilton but also the rest of the island. A short walk from both bus stops and the ferry terminal, the hotel has an excellent central location for those visiting Bermuda for the first time. With two pools--fresh and salt water--a beach is barely missed. And if you want those pink sands, guests at the Hamilton Princess have privileges at the Southampton Princess.

the hotel staff were friendly and always willing to tell you what you should do and where you should visit on the the island the breakfast was utter maddness the menu consisted of peanut butter and jelly cereal and coffee after about 2 days we were tired of the menu. The location of the hotel was crazy u had a 10 min hike to the main road and god forbid u had to go out at nite to there are no street lights or sidewalks so good luck its better to call a cab being that vistors to the island cant rent cars but it was an ok stay for my boyfriend and I, but we wouldnt do it again.

The suites over looking the ocean have a beautiful view. the staff helped carry luggage for a single woman w/o asking. Juanita, the manager, was most accommodating when I needed to change plans unexpectedly. You can save as a family in the spacious suites.

great luxury hotel

  • beach traveler
  • Oct 11, 2010
We loved the hotel. It was beautiful and we had a great view of the water. It was very quiet and the staff professional. The only negative was the 1.2 mile distance from the hotel to the beach club. We ended up renting a scooter so we did not have to rely on the shuttle even though it di go back and forth every 15 min. Restaurants were very good too.

Celebrating our 30th Anniversary

  • M

We had a very relaxing time, Tucker's Point is a beautiful property, plenty to do that we only needed to go into Hamilton for a few hours and decided to go back to the hotel where we could enjoy the many ammenities. Our 5th floor Devonshire room had a spectacular veiw of Castle Harbour. We could have had glasses/cups in the bathroom to rinse out our mouths when we brushed our teeth, that would be the only negative thing we could say about our stay.
