The hotel restaurant "Koper" serves a contemporary cuisine made with fresh ingredients from the Flanders countryside and North Sea as well as international influenced dishes. The Skylounge, Hasselt's newest Champagne and wine bar, is situated on the 19th floor with terraces offering a panoramic views.

Can't imagine a better place in Hasselt

Great hotel, ideal location,every possible convenience,and excellent value. I had the most efficient check in i've ever had with excellent multilingual staff. The room itself was very nice. Large bath in modern bathroom. Good bed with comfy pillows. All the facilities that are commonly lacking in other hotels ie; Tea & coffee, proper iron, hair-dryer, air con, plenty of closet space and a chill out area, along with views of the city. Of and plus free wi-fi, though it was a bit patchy in terms of speeds at times. Quick quiet lifts too (trivial i know but the kind of thing that can be annoying if poor). All in all way better than i expected.
Couple of things that pulled it down a little bit were that the corridors (while no need to spend time there) were too warm and a bit stuffy, and i thought the breakfast room was in need of some organisation. I came back from getting some cereal to find a couple being seated by staff into my warm chair! It was a very busy weekend in the city and there had been a big wedding the night before but basically they don't have the facility to cope with large numbers descending on the breakfast room. No allocated table numbers or whatever to know what's what and just some general confusion in the whole setup here.. contrasting greatly for me with the hotel and the staff service as a whole.
One member of staff was just asking approaching guests their room numbers then telling them they could seat themselves wherever, giving the impression (as is with some hotels) that they would be approached to see if they wanted tea or coffee or whatever with breakfast. It's a buffet so everything was at the buffet. People were sitting down, not knowing if they should go the buffet directly and being left in limbo a bit by the staff. A word of direction as to how they operated breakfast would have saved just about everybody i watched a minute or so of awkward indecision!
The staff in general though were excellent... Very efficient, and listened to and implemented any requests you would have of them. I used the free gym, pool and sauna too. Not particularly luxurious but a nice added facility. I got my Saturday night stay for £50 so really can't imagine better value for money in the heart of Hasselt.

Nice location, clean hotel, bit busy, had to wait long for check in, had problems with double booking: another guest got another key for our room and surprised us...
